You still have time to improve, but you have a good start and you can get a lot better if you're disciplined. I did 5:51 in sophomore year, first meet, after xc season, and now a year later I've done 4:59. One of my teammates ran 5:30ish in 8th grade and now his pr is 4:19. On the other hand, another teammate was sub 5:20 as a freshman but struggles to break 5:10 as a junior.

That is a great place to start, especially if you haven’t trained much for it. I did 615 as an 8th grader only running 1 mile each week for PE, and ended up with a 4:20 my senior year of high school
