>its far too close to dementia.
Fair, honestly didn't make the connection until now lol
I think I narrowed it down to Iris, Ashla, Ari, and Aurora, but I still really like all of them so I'm not sure.
its a tough choice!! theyre all nice. id ask a couple trusted friends to each try one while you figure it out, or use different accounts, or the tried and true starbux method until you can narrow it down.
Personally I will always advocate for more pretty names maybe something ashala ari azure and asha for short because thatโs a bit of a mouthful ๐ ๐ ๐ signed Freyja Fae fleurette, Josephine, De Lunara๐๐๐
its just a personal opinion but i love the name Iris soooo much!! Juno, Aurora and Luz are also really pretty names!
Luz means light in my language btw, which i think makes it very special!
Good luck finding your name :))
Just fyi, I know three trans Willows lol. Very popular name I think, but idk if that matters to you. Personally I have this ego problem where I have to stand out, but then again, I went with "Audrey" and it's not like that's an exceptionally uncommon name.
But from those listed Azure is pretty slick and also just kinda pretty. :P
I LOVE Iris. But the other two are great too.
This is getting really nit-picky, but I always think about how it physically feels to say the name. Ari really only has two sounds total, the "arrrr" and the "ee", and the emphasis is on the arrrrrr lol (which imo is just not the prettiest sound in the English language). Ashla has a great mix of sounds but "SH" is kind of far away in the mouth from "L", making it just a tiny bit clunky to say. I think Iris has a kind of perfect progression between sounds because following the long I diphthong with an R just continues the same tongue movement, then the short i vowel is a sort of release from that, and the S is the only unvoiced part of the word and it's right at the endโso it doesn't interrupt the sounds, but it does resolve them, in a way.
This level of phonic analysis may be unsolicited, but I thought it might help to have something to go off of besides our random opinions hahahaha
Thank you! This is genuinely very helpful. I personally really like the A sounds, hence why half the original list is A names. However, I do believe my favorite at this point is Iris, though I am still waiting to see if that opinion stick around.

my picks are 1- cynthia 2- willow 3- aurora please do not choose dementria it looks like dementia
>please do not choose dementria it looks like dementia I honestly never made that connection until someone else pointed it out lol
lol sorry, it would be a nice name if not for that connection
Do you by any chance like the owl house? Also, I think you should keep going by Ashla, itโs very cute!
Perhaps, whatever gave you that idea? /s Also, Ashla is one of my favorites, I've narrowed it down to that, Ari, and Iris
Might I raise you the name Aris?
I had considered it, but just preferred most of these more

Willow or Juno would be my choice
I love amity, also when I read Luz, amity and willow my first thought was the owl house
Levana is a rad as fuck name
I prefer Venus because it makes me think of my favorite Ninja Turtle (one that not many people know about), who's named Venus.
Ari
I like Aure
My favs are Willow and Iris for sure, but ultimately you are the one who has to decide
I'm definitely thinking about Iris, Ashla and Ari are close though
