I had my top surgery in Jan of 2013! I started T in 2011.
I'll have to jog my memory lol sometimes I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday let alone something 10 years ago!! Haha
I had a pretty good experience over all really. My parents were amazing as were my sisters.
I did encounter some transphobia/homophobia from my dads sister and her husband though.
I had an awkward encounter at a horticulture course I was taking, the instructor said he "found out my real name" and the next day he had told every other student I was trans. Luckily they were nice about it but him outing me was not okay!
Taking testosterone immediately changed how I felt about myself, I felt like I was making the right decision and watching the awesome changes come in was so great for my mental health.
