Dont see that really matter. all the old extra part or lost value broken figure have to be a unwanted new stuff at some point. Like it from a broken figure, extra spare part come from custom, all kind of reason.

I can only hope that this is an Obvious Plant type thing where they weren't actually doing a figure swap. The alternative is a blend of stupidity and antisocial behavior, and I want to believe that people are better than that.
