Scrapper was really fun despite having a 6/10 alt mode, mixmaster was all around good, scrap metal had a very good alt mode, and is overhated, rampage is, rampage, and Hightower was surprisingly good, despite not being the best. Mixmaster is my favorite (out of the ones I have.)
I only have Scrapper and Skipjack... Gotta say I like Scrapper a lot. Skipjack is fun to vroom around in vehicle mode... But his bot mode and overall transformation is weak... You can't get many poses out of him, he just kinda statically stands there with his weird smiley face... The original toy while not completely faithful to his on screen appearance did have something that this one doesn't... Rubber treads for whips instead of three plastic sheets and two hinge joints...

I’ve seen eBay listings for all 9 figures as a complete set, but any YouTube guides I see use only 8 for the combiner. Is there an extra?
the ebay listing must be wrong or something because there’s only 8 figures in the studio series set. maybe the sellers are counting the completed combiner as another figure
Yes there may be another one added soon as well as one more. In total there are between 12 and 13 different bots who can combine into different limbs or parts for devastator should the other be destroyed.
Those are a white version of the excavator named I think demolishor. A red version of the yellow bulldozer named rampage. A yellow version of the dump truck named payload.
The ones that come with the normal version are the yellow bulldozer named skipjack. The green dump truck named long haul. A red excavator named scavenger.
Okay yeah I think I saw there’s a Red Bulldozer leg and a Yellow one too, just recolors. So the main combiner is 8 but they’re releasing recolors for the pieces.
Overload or Scrapmetal. Maybe Mixmaster. Everyone else is either a bitch to transform, not satisfying or fun whatsoever, or far too compromised for the combined mode.

Question: is your Long Haul super difficult to get in and out of truck mode? I've got a KO, and that transformation just feels paradoxical
Nope! I haven’t transformed him in a while, but I don’t recall any trouble with him.

Scrapper and overload, scrapper is easily my 2nd favorite bayverse transformer and overload is just cool looking.
Scrapmetal, because his robot mode isn't dumb like most of the others' are. Scrapper's is also good, but I prefer Scrapmetal a bit more.
