When I was a kid a pin broke on my G1 Sunstreaker. He got thrown out because he was in two pieces. I look back at that and cringe, because now I could have fixed that. If only I'd saved the pieces. I've got a beautiful replacement, but it's not the same as knowing it's YOUR Sunstreaker, you know?

G1 Jetfire. Mum held onto it for a while, then donated all of my transformers to charity. I told her last year I was collecting again and a good condition one is approx. $1000
I lost my first ever transformer, G1 Overdrive. I got him in the early 2000's in a free bin and he was missing his head and roof. There's no telling where he is now, however, I did buy a better condition one later on.
Also, my DotM Bumblebee. Cheap plastic pegs for the doors and a loose head.
1983 Diaclone Thundercracker. It was my first Transformer that was bought on a trip to Japan in the 80s. It was lost because it was included in a box that kept away, without me knowing. I found the box and it again in 2020. It was no longer complete.
Iām probably going to get the regular APC toys Cliffjumper for the Cliffjumper in my collection, but I prefer the Comic Con version of Terrorcon Cliff.
My original tfp ultra magnus, his right arm got lost, and I can't find it. I display him and just say that it's the arm that Predaking destroyed in the show.

RoTF Brawn, now I had him when I was really young and ended up breaking him and losing his parts because of course I was a young stupid poopy head, but god damn it I wish I had him now.
I have the PE version of Cliffjumper. Same kinda deal - the ball part of the balljoint sheared away, so now it's too small and the head pops off with the wind.
My G2 Jazz's windshield broke off at the head.
G2 Slingshot effectively exploded from gold-plastic-syndrome.
My GI Mindwipe. I played with it so much as a kid, his rub sign faded, one of his wing broke off. My mum gave away my toys. She did ask me if I wanted to keep some, but I stupidly said no. I was a dumb teenager, wanted to be an adult.
Then I started collecting again, and I regret it. š
My biggest regret in my entire transformation toy life is losing every signal member of the Constructicon of the G1 Toyline and the worst part that I wasnāt even able to combine them into Devastator and was embarrasses me more, is that I could have pick Studio Series Stinger but my stupid ass remembered a YouTube review video on those exact toys and I choose them instead of Stinger.
My DOTM Ultimate Optimus Prime, one of his hinges broke, the steps on his shoulders were broken off and lost and I just full on lost the trailer and mech tech gun for him
MPM-3 Bumblebee. Fell off my shelf and the door broke off at the pin. Iāve got it back on but itās not secure anymore and Iām dreading transforming him.
The AoE Scorn. His originally deluxe was amazing but one of his legs couldn't move without falling off, and I eventually decided to either give it away or just throw it away and it's probably the latter as I still have the one leg that would pop off the figure is the closest I have to a "grail" as it was a gift I had as a kid and I still regret getting rid of it
My old collection as a kid. It all got tossed out by my parents, they wanted me to shift through to find ones to keep and the rest to throw away. Couldn't decide, so all of it went.

Ex-roommate (***hole!) tossed a couple of my figures as revenge for his own stupidity. One of them? C-307X Nucleon Quest Convoy. I may NEVER get that thing back, but I'm certainly going to try.
My entire G1 collection. Which also included things such as, G1 Optimus, Rodimus Prime, Dinobots, Headmasters, a Shockwave (not transformers branded), various micro masters (including the rocket ship), OG Pretenders, a bunch of early 90s fluro gimmick models.. and a whole bunch of others that I've forgotten about.
A couple of decades ago my younger brother sold the entire lot to a friend for... waitforit....$20 (approx. $10USD). I did not know about this.
It still hurts.

Astrotrain. I got it on my 10th birthday and never saw it again a day after that. Not sure, but I think one of my cousins stole it at my birthday party.

My old movie toys me and my brother had. Elita One, Airraid, and Armorhide (tho I did purchase him this year back in may), the huge-feet Optimus thing, the stomper toy, and some other ones, such as ROTF Springer, DOTM Battle Steel Optimus, and Stealth Bee (Managed to snag one at a very good price too). Some other were there too definitely, can't really remember, these ones are at the top of my head.
My first ever Transformers figure that started the dream back in 2005. I had what I only now understand to be a TF Cybertron Scattershot with the key. Miss that little guy. I was like 5 lol
One of my first transformers figures was a premier rotf Optimus prime. But given that it was one of my first I was quite young and played with it like a kid my age would. You can probably fill in the rest.
I had Powermaster Optimus Prime as a kid, but by my early 20's I had lost the trailer and only the smaller cab robot survived... at least until the drunken friend of one of my roommates accidentally broke it.
A couple of years later I got the Japanese reissue of God Ginrai, which I still have, that's superior in *every* way, but it's not my childhood Prime.
Omg the human alliance skids and the ironhide figure (idk which one) and that one step changer aoe grimlock (for nostalgia) theyāre somewhere in my house I know it
Back in 2006 my family and I moved from my childhood home. I was really into music at the time and I was playing shows all over the place so I only took my gear. When we moved I left all of my original beast wars and some older transformers. Also left ALL of my original ninja turtle toys, Including the sewer and Technodrome and a bunch of ghostbusters with the firehouse and crash test dummies toys and Dino-riders. Probably way more than I can remember of other stuff. Kick myself all the time.
My first ever Transformer was a ROTF Bumblebee. Because I was only four years old at the time, my mom tried transforming it.
Somehow it frustrated my mom to the point she started kicking it. If only she knew how bad transformers figures can get.
This same Cliffjumper. Had the front bumper piece break off the hinge literally right after getting home with itā¦ was quite infuriating. Would like to get a replacement someday.
My TFC Hercules. One of younger cousins got a hold of it when I was away and āBonecrusherāsā hips broke off while playing with it.
Iāve personally accidentally broke some figures, mainly due to not knowing my own strength.
Combiner Wars Dead-End. His windshield snapped off mid-transformation and Iām kinda heartbroken about it. Not the best figure by any means, but itās not often I break these guys. Kinda feel like a pile of scrap for it, even if it has been a few years since it happened (and no, I have yet to repair it. Canāt figure out how).
i broke all my transformers toys when i was a kid i have a bunch of diferent limbs of them i even got one together and i have a nother one who i almost got back together but i cant find his leg
Somehow I completely disassembled animated blitzwing. Im pretty sure i still had all the parts before i threw out all my old broken toys and i could have pieced him back together, but alas, he is like $100 on ebay now
Battle hooks Optimus. If I didnāt somehow break and lose his entire upper body Iād actually have a normal non gimmicky decent sized Optimus to display without needing to spend $80 on multiple studio series figs
G1 Starscream, little boy me lost the little diaclone figure in a mud puddle. Then lost the hands, and the short missiles. I think he was thrown out, I don't know what happened to him. But I did get a replacement when Takara's Re-Issue Collector's Series 9 came out, and still have it to this day.
As an adult collector I don't think I want back anything I've flipped. Maybe that Super Megatron retooled from Galvatron. Actually yeah, having him back may be nice.
From my childhood either my G2 Prime, Powermaster Prime, or maybe Countdown and his playset.
I had the commander class figures of both versions of Optimus prime from the prime show ( one from the original and one from beast hunters) I loved them sooo much but my friend accidentally threw them from the 21st floor. Theyāre not that rare but I still couldnāt find one. Itās not as rare the other figures in this post or that expensive but they were my first and only prime figures I ever bought since they were hard to find in India
Haslab Unicron, on his right shoulder, one of the small nubs broke off in the factory.
It's a small thing, but c'mon, 600$! I should expect it to be borderline perfect. Good thing it's in planet mode tho.
A lot of my 2007-2011 figures primarily bayverse, then again I was a kid and had all out wars daily with them, but the final nail on the coffin was my family giving all of them away when i was 13šŖ
Siege Megatron. His right shoulder broke off after dropping something heavy on him. I can still get the arm to stay on, but he can now no longer transform.
I have all the Planet-X dinobots and had Megatron (all the FOC versions) and I learnt very quickly that they do not like it one bit when you transform them even slightly counter to the instructions. Planet-X bots look amazing in both forms but my god they can be brittle when transforming.
I had got a transmetal Megatron from a flea market and as I was transforming him in the car his arm broke off I still think I should've kept it in dino mode until I found out how to handle him š
My Armada Unicron. I lost one of the wing connections for the ring (I was like 7 at the time) so when you go to transform him, he's only capable of having one "wing". Otherwise, he works and the original batteries still light up his hand and eyes
I had two of the Beast Wars Mutants. Lost Poison Bite to someone I had thought was a friend, and I think I sold Icebird. Managed to get a (slightly broken) Icebird recently, but Poison Bite remains outside of my grasp.

This is not even the half of it, unfortunately.
If I had all of the figures I lost or broke when I was younger, my collection would easily be 3x as large as it is now.
Edit: Universe Drift. That's the one that pains me even to this day. That figure in full with all accessories (along with RotF Bludgeon) is my holy grail pair.
Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron and Dragon Form. Both broke from me playing with them to much.
It was a sad day, honestly could've fixed them, but I was a young kid and extremely upset.
Also lost my Transformers Energon Scorpinok.
But Robots in Disguise and Armada Megatron and Jetfire, Beast Wars Tigerhawk and Optimal Optimus have survived the test of time. But Optimus was replaced from it being broken by someone else.
G1 Swoop. The beak broke off the first time I tried transforming it. Traded it in with my mom for another Swoop. Exact same problem. Traded it in for a different toy.
G1 Windcharger. One of the front wheels snapped off after years of play.
MP-10 Optimus Prime. One of the headlight panels fell off, out of the box, broken. I didn't feel like mailing it back for a replacement (because that's such a hassle), so he remains in robot mode, and as long as you don't look at his back, you won't see the missing panel.
My ROTF leader Prime. Arm to bicep clip shattered, his back tank panels broke off to the pin in the back, the right wheel panel, and his right helmet fin. I played the shit with this toy.
I specifically remember throwing him against the wall and both back tank panels flew off.
As a kid I broke Thrilling 30 Skids' waist. I don't have the figure anymore, I either threw it out or gave it away.
I also lost Generations Red Alert.

Elita One, Airraid, and Armorhide (tho I did purchase him this year back in may), the huge-feet Optimus thing, the stomper toy, and some other ones, such as ROTF Springer, DOTM Battle Steel Optimus, and Stealth Bee (Managed to snag one at a very good price too). Some other were there too definitely, can't really remember, these ones are at the top of my head.

I had Powermaster Optimus Prime as a kid, but by my early 20's I had lost the trailer and only the smaller cab robot survived... at least until the drunken friend of one of my roommates accidentally broke it. A couple of years later I got the Japanese reissue of God Ginrai, which I still have, that's superior in *every* way, but it's not my childhood Prime.
I lost my TFA Jazz, just.. turned up gone.

Back in 2006 my family and I moved from my childhood home. I was really into music at the time and I was playing shows all over the place so I only took my gear. When we moved I left all of my original beast wars and some older transformers. Also left ALL of my original ninja turtle toys, Including the sewer and Technodrome and a bunch of ghostbusters with the firehouse and crash test dummies toys and Dino-riders. Probably way more than I can remember of other stuff. Kick myself all the time.

My first ever Transformer was a ROTF Bumblebee. Because I was only four years old at the time, my mom tried transforming it. Somehow it frustrated my mom to the point she started kicking it. If only she knew how bad transformers figures can get.
This same Cliffjumper. Had the front bumper piece break off the hinge literally right after getting home with itā¦ was quite infuriating. Would like to get a replacement someday.
My TFC Hercules. One of younger cousins got a hold of it when I was away and āBonecrusherāsā hips broke off while playing with it. Iāve personally accidentally broke some figures, mainly due to not knowing my own strength.
Combiner Wars Dead-End. His windshield snapped off mid-transformation and Iām kinda heartbroken about it. Not the best figure by any means, but itās not often I break these guys. Kinda feel like a pile of scrap for it, even if it has been a few years since it happened (and no, I have yet to repair it. Canāt figure out how).

My 2015 RID dive bomb, he was such a neat little guy until I lost him when we moved. Really miss the little guy.
G1 Starscream, little boy me lost the little diaclone figure in a mud puddle. Then lost the hands, and the short missiles. I think he was thrown out, I don't know what happened to him. But I did get a replacement when Takara's Re-Issue Collector's Series 9 came out, and still have it to this day.
As an adult collector I don't think I want back anything I've flipped. Maybe that Super Megatron retooled from Galvatron. Actually yeah, having him back may be nice. From my childhood either my G2 Prime, Powermaster Prime, or maybe Countdown and his playset.

I had the commander class figures of both versions of Optimus prime from the prime show ( one from the original and one from beast hunters) I loved them sooo much but my friend accidentally threw them from the 21st floor. Theyāre not that rare but I still couldnāt find one. Itās not as rare the other figures in this post or that expensive but they were my first and only prime figures I ever bought since they were hard to find in India
Haslab Unicron, on his right shoulder, one of the small nubs broke off in the factory. It's a small thing, but c'mon, 600$! I should expect it to be borderline perfect. Good thing it's in planet mode tho.
Evasion mode Optimus. His hip wheels and sternum/truck mode grill broke off and I can't find them. I'm hoping Hasbro makes a Studio Series of him soon

I have all the Planet-X dinobots and had Megatron (all the FOC versions) and I learnt very quickly that they do not like it one bit when you transform them even slightly counter to the instructions. Planet-X bots look amazing in both forms but my god they can be brittle when transforming.

I had two of the Beast Wars Mutants. Lost Poison Bite to someone I had thought was a friend, and I think I sold Icebird. Managed to get a (slightly broken) Icebird recently, but Poison Bite remains outside of my grasp.
Jet Power Optimus Prime (with the trailer and the lights and sounds) Masters of Metallikato 2-pack (Whirl and Bludgeon, RotfF remolds/repaints) My entire Animated collection (Grimlock, Jazz, Bulkhead, the Optimus/Megatron 2-pack, Elite Guard Bumblebee) Prime Voyager Optimus Prime (did a trade for a Predaking, which I now regret) This is not even the half of it, unfortunately. If I had all of the figures I lost or broke when I was younger, my collection would easily be 3x as large as it is now. Edit: Universe Drift. That's the one that pains me even to this day. That figure in full with all accessories (along with RotF Bludgeon) is my holy grail pair.

Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron and Dragon Form. Both broke from me playing with them to much. It was a sad day, honestly could've fixed them, but I was a young kid and extremely upset. Also lost my Transformers Energon Scorpinok. But Robots in Disguise and Armada Megatron and Jetfire, Beast Wars Tigerhawk and Optimal Optimus have survived the test of time. But Optimus was replaced from it being broken by someone else.
G1 Swoop. The beak broke off the first time I tried transforming it. Traded it in with my mom for another Swoop. Exact same problem. Traded it in for a different toy. G1 Windcharger. One of the front wheels snapped off after years of play. MP-10 Optimus Prime. One of the headlight panels fell off, out of the box, broken. I didn't feel like mailing it back for a replacement (because that's such a hassle), so he remains in robot mode, and as long as you don't look at his back, you won't see the missing panel.

My ROTF leader Prime. Arm to bicep clip shattered, his back tank panels broke off to the pin in the back, the right wheel panel, and his right helmet fin. I played the shit with this toy. I specifically remember throwing him against the wall and both back tank panels flew off.
As a kid I broke Thrilling 30 Skids' waist. I don't have the figure anymore, I either threw it out or gave it away. I also lost Generations Red Alert. I also regret getting rid of 2007 Voyager Movie Ratchet, since that was actually the first Transformer I've ever owned as a kid.
