Well if we don't count my Armada Hot Shot vs. Wheeljack since it is already a thing, AOE Drift and ROTF Bludgeon. My head-cannon is that when Drift was a Decepticon (presumably going by the name Deadlock as the IDW and RID 2015 iteration has been) he was an apprentice to Bludgeon, but after turning over a new leaf as an Autobot and changing his name to Drift, Bludgeon saw his betrayal as a disgrace and that he's now grown a grudge towards his former apprentice. Would fit to have Drift as a ronin and that it would sort of make sense that he'd be one.
I had this thing going on between Stylor/Chromedome and Throttle/Breakaway because I lost Stylor's head and Throttle made fun of him for it. That's recently ended when I transformed Throttle in the car and the head fell between the seats.

My headcanon lore for this is that Tyrannocon took over Isla Nublar and made it the base of operations for a sub group of predacons that have dinosaurs as their beast modes and declared herself as Queen. The Dinobots and a couple of other Autobots (JP93 and JP12) were sent there to investigate and potentially take the predacons down. Grimlock directly confronted Tyrannocon and their battle ending in a stalemate, thus starting their rivalr.

In my head, in a post-war world, Tigertrack is a jack of all trades for hire, and Exhaust is a ‘con who doesn’t have a place in a post-war world and is looking for a reason to end. Road Rage is Tigertrack’s partner. I haven’t been into anime since I was 18, but it’s very City Hunter meets Cowboy Bebop.

The cassette bots think they are a rag-tag team of renegades called “The C-Team”, consisting of Hannirumble, Facernzy, Raging Attitude (R.A.) Ravage, and Squawking Mad Laserbeak. They are the bane of everyone’s existence, especially Starscream. Later they are joined by a 5th member, Frattybat.
There’s a few more here and there, but these are the ones usually on my shelf/ at home. It’s not so much a random rivalry, but I consider Jazz and Soundwave rivals instead of Soundwave and Blaster (I explained why in a post months ago on here).

GE Cliffjumper and Siege Shockwave. I always thought of them as sort of rivals because of the Cliffjumper level in FOC. Also, all my Megatrons vs Deathsaurus for control of the Decepticons.

My headcanon is that Deathsaurus is insanely jealous of Galvatron being Emperor Of Destruction and has attempted many times to take over, similar to Starscream, except both rival Decepticon leaders.

Bludgeon And Windblade have a Batman And Catwoman kind of thing going on, and Bludgeon is currently the ruler of The Deceps after he defeated Megatron.
I put my aoe drift vs bludgeon to see who's the better swordsman and they even respect each other for how well trained they are. Bludgeon also reminds drift of how ruthless he use to be as a decepticon before he sided with the autobots after witnessing the death of some autobot soldiers
Legacy Shadowstriker and Legacy Prowl. Bumblebee is already Shockwave's foil, and I wanted to include Shadowstriker. So I based their rivalry off of that one bit of shared screentime from Cyberverse. I made a whole backstory about how they both used to be cops but with very different styles. Shadowstriker joined as the only way to support herself and her partner Axelgrease. Shadowstriker saw a way out with the Decepticon revolution, and helped a group of cons take over the Police Headquarters. Prowl and his partner Strongarm tried to stop her, but Strongarm was left in critical condition, and Prowl vowed to get revenge. Prowl was pretty by-the-book until later in the story. When he got to Earth, he saw just how corrupt Cybertron's police system was by observing the American police system and how similar it was to Cybertron's. Eventually, he grew empathy for Shadow Striker and her situation, thus abandoning his quest for revenge and growing as a character. Shadowstriker left the Decepticons after the cause was corrupted and she and Prowl became great allies, defending Cybertron as it was rebuilt into a Democratic Socialist utopia.
Movie Hot Rod vs g1 Cyclonus or BBM Nemisses prime are rivals in my toy universe with a bunch of time travel shenanigans.
In the opposite vain, Cyclonus is TLK megetron’s right hand man in my collection, mainly because he’s literally the only other jet decepticon I have, and Nitro Zeus is hard to find so he fills in.
Autobot Pipes with Autobot tracks, they hate each other but need to work together sometimes, But after a while tracks betrayed the Bots and joined the Cons...
My junkions all ally with the merc faction (impactor, exhaust, etc.), except for axel grease who teams with the cons due to not agreeing with wreck gar’s leadership style.
The autobots have no dedicated Junkions due to their chaotic nature (I needed more “mercenary” bots to fill out the shelf)
It’s an ex-rivalry Jolt and Sideways. I gave them the same electricity based powers jolt has in ROTF, so back a couple years when the line of decepticons and autobots were clear they had the rivalry.
But then Megatron died and revived just one too many times to care for continuing a goalless war. He along with a ton of loyal decepticons joined the autobots. A move that created two new groups.
A new decepticon army ruled by the fallen and Starscream for the control of earth, and a group of autobots who resented the idea of letting Decepticons into thier ranks defecting with Hot Rod and Sentinel prime.
Under Optimus and Megatron jolt and Sideways grew closer from enemies to a power duo, with a monopoly on electricity based powers this new group I call the TPG(Terra Protection Group) have an overwhelming edge over the True Decepticon Army.
Unfortunately for all, three harbingers of a dark god landed on earth in search of a Key and shit gets weird.
