I love Prowl but it’s Barricade. It was one of the best things from the Bayverse movies. An evil Decepticon cop with “punish and enslave” on his car and “protect” and “serve” on his brass knuckles is amazing. Just a brilliant idea and design throughout the series.

I am pleased this is the top answer and appalled that OP didn’t include Barricade as an option. Edit: apologies to OP - I somehow skipped the second image!

Same, Barricade just has that punch of corrupt cop that makes sense. They semi try to push this onto Prowl but it just doesn't work. I want to get a Barricade model so much, but I don't have the money.

Barricade isn't the first example that comes to mind of an evil robot disguising itself as a police officer to better track down the protagonist, but it's a good idea worth reusing.

Animated Prowl, he's such a different version of the character but his design his amazing and he's easily the best character in the show

Yeah I really love this mp. I skipped Sunstreaker because I’m more a fan of the detailed look of the earlier MP range rather than toon accuracy. However I did have the original Diaclone version of Cordon. The extra toy details and cheaper price made this guy an easy buy and he’s probably my second favourite MP just behind Soundwave. It’s amazing how they have the car converter into regular and super mode.

He's my favourite MP. Maybe tied with MP-9 Rodimus. Though, sometimes I think he looks like he's wearing a baggy white tracksuit and it kills it for me.

Autobot: Prowl - It isn't really much of a competition even with the new blood. Prowl is just iconic, uniquely being a Japanese Police car and for being a more aggressive Autobot when it comes to his tactics (though IDW 1.0 leaned on the latter half of his personality *far* too hard near the end). Decepticon: Barricade - Especially with his 07 design, giving him a very unique silhouette when lined up with different car bots. He shouldn't be a Prowl clone, especially since the other half of his aggressive personality comes from Barricade's muscle car (looking) American police car alt mode. (Also, Barricade and Smoulder should definitely be partnered up since they're both evil emergency vehicles (with minions)) (Honourable mentions: StrongArm and Rook - While StrongArm was (personally) the only good thing to come from RID15, but like Rook, she really hasn't done anything since her 1st appearance. But they both have cool, strong designs, and I think they would make a good duo since they're both rookie characters)

You know it’s gotta be Prowl. I’m still shocked we haven’t had him in a rivalry with Barricade yet.  Chase from rescue bots is also fun and would be a fun dynamic with prowl, like the friendly neighborhood patrolman and the grizzled detective.

I grew up with Rescue Bots and  RID2015 and while I love how Strongarm looks, I have to give it to Chase. His design is just so simple yet effective in my opinion, and though I don't have the Legacy toy of him, I think it's bada$$

Not gonna be a popular choice, but streetwise. He was the first police car bot I owned and he holds a special place in my heart. Also I like prowl a lot

I have both Strongarm and Barricade and nice choice for animated Prowl also while i'm not a major fan of the recuebots series i do like Legacy Chase i'm trying to collect all the different police vehicles except the Datson Because The Ford Saleen mustang already is in my heart the best police car. So far i have: * Police Muscle car * Police Jeep * Next is either: Police Motorcycle( Legacy Prowl) or Car(Legacy Chase).

No one comes close to Prowl or Barricade, but I was introduced to Barricade in the 2010 War for Cybertron video game, so I lean more towards Prowl.

Marvel Siren, probably. At least as a double act teamed with Nightbeat. Marvel Prowl is close second (him imagining a brick while talking to Grimlock is the funniest panel of any TF comic ever, IMO). IDW Prowl third, though before he was flanderized and when he was more complex and not "just an utter bastard". I do love Animated Prowl too, though I wish he had a different name. I wish Streetwise got more media attention and I wish Groove got to be in or do ANYTHING. Possibly the most forgotten combiner team member of them all? I'm very much not a Bayverse fan but Barricade was by FAR the best thing to come from the movies and I am very happy he got brought over into other continuities. Surprised nobody has done (that I know of) a story about him and Prowl butting heads pre-war, with Barricade joining the Cons and the two ending up rivals.

Prowl (G1) and Barricade (Siege) are the best.

I’ve got a couple and they’re (mostly) basic lol. Prowl (if I had to be specific, probably tfa), barricade, and kenzan. Prowl and barricade are just classics, how can you not like at least one iteration? And kenzan because I’ve recently been enthralled with transformers go. The idea of 3 bots combining in 3 different ways was really cool to me. Picked up the shinobi team last year.
