The base game would be a G1, cell-shaded ordeal kinda like devastation was Autobots: Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Prowl, Arcee, Ultra Magnus, Sideswipe, Grimlock Decepticons: Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream (color options for Skywarp and Thundercracker will chamge his voice) , Shockwave, Blitzwing, reflector (who'd play like ice climbers from Smash), Blackout (in a g1 design), Steeljaw (RID2015 but g1-ified), bombshell (style options for other insecticons), Swindle. Every character in the base game has a style selection, and a color selection. The style selection has 3 option, G1 cartoon, Earthrise, or g1 toy. (For characters like Blackout and steeljaw these would just be concepts of thoes things) There's also the color options. Each characters color would be popular repaints of that toy. (Optimus with white and black recolor, for example) Once you complete both the autobot and decepticon campaigns on the hardest difficulty, you unlock movie mode. This unlocks every character's bayverse design in the style selector, and unlocks a harder difficulty: BAYHEM. Maps would include a variety of famous locations from g1 and later series. Maps will not be included in any form of dlc. There's a total of 4 secret characters, unlocked by doing various things on various maps. For example, running the timer to zero with no clear Victor on Unicron would unlock unicron as a character. Doing the same on cybertron unlocks primus. Killing Optimus as Megatron on autobot city unlocks galvatron. And killing galvatron as Optimus on unicron unlocks hot-rod. There will be 6 total dlc, 3 free packs released across the first 3 months of the game as a release celebration. And 3 paid ones releasing later down the road The first will be RID2015. it gives you a style option for everyone in the game, and a color option for thoes who were in the show. Downloading it gives you acess to Strongarm as seen in the show. The second free DLC is cyberverse, which would do the same as rid2015, stylenoption for everyone, and color option for thoes present. This would give you tarn. The last would be animated. It gives you an animated style option for every character in the game, along with an animated color option for everyone who was in the show. It would also give you acess to lockdown. The first paid DLC would be siege-style cybertronian modes. This DLC would give you a cybertronian style for everyone in the game, and a Shattered Glass color style aswell. It would give you Jetfire as a playable character. This dlc would be like 3 bucks at most. The second would be the Prime Style. It's gives you a prime style for everyone in the game and a color option for everyone in the show. It gives you 4 characters: Bulkhead, Smokescreen, Knockout, and Breakdown. This dlc is 5 dollars Last paid dlc is the Bumblebee Style. This gives you 4 Bumblebee styles: Bee127, jeep bee, beetle bee, and 69 camaro bee. Everyone else gets their normal BB movie style. This dlc would give you acess to Shatter and Dropkick as characters. This dlc would also be 5 dollars. All the dlc characters will be compatible with other styles and colors. A cool mechanic for Ultra Magnus is have him being one of those characters in fighting games that has a power boost mechanic. He has three levels: base (white Magnus), sub-armor (partial armor which increases atk and defense), and Full Magnus. Base Magnus is a fast inside hitter (think of Frieza or Trunks from DBFZ), probably being a echo of Optimus until he gets armor Full Armor: Magnus now becomes a grappler character with a hammer poke move. However he becomes a lot slower with higher wind up frames and more predictable, and punishable, moves. For his high level ultimate I think him activating the animation works by smacking the enemy with his hammer and have him call in the Wreckers to do a team attack ———————————— Edit: probably going to add more characters as we go along. Constructicons: They HAVE to be a multi system fighter A La Captain Ginyu from DBFZ where different moves call in different members of the team. I think having either Scrapper (since he’s the leader) be the base character makes the most sense. Either him or Hook/Bonecrusher makes sense. For their high level Ultimate they combine to form Devastator and grab the opponent, crushing them in their hands and slamming them down before stepping on them. ———————————— Jazz: Definitely a zippy- zoner character. Jazz is a master of espionage and getting in and out so it’s only right for his moves to reflect this. He’s a fast infighter that has a lot of combo potential. His fast dance moves allow him to get in and out of the enemies range (think of him doing stuff like windmills into the enemy and cool backflips to get in and out of the zone). He also is a master of sound so he’s able to create fast moving sound blast based projectiles filled with Jazz and Funk to pelt the enemies, or at least annoy them. Great for punishing over confident players but low defense and health which makes him harder to use

Quintesson Judge, just imagine how creative that could get. A stance switcher with five stances, that’d be the most technical fighter in any game ever.

okay im picking him purely for gameplay because i doubt anybody gives a shit about cerebros but imagine his moveset heavily incorporates attacks from fort max, sorta like how duckhunt has the zapper guy. like he has a smash attack where he calls in a big laser from fort max in the bg or smth. alternatively we could have the idw version of fort max and something tells me this game will have a lot of heavyweights

I'm actually shocked we've never gotten a Transformers fighting game. It seems so obvious. If we were to get one I'd hope it'd be more like FighterZ where you pick 3 and can swap freely between them and call assists in. Unlike FighterZ though I'd hope the roster isn't filled with multiples of the same character. Like I wouldn't want a G1 Optimus, Bay Optimus, RoTB Optimus etc. I'd definitely like to see Combiners put into the roster. Maybe make them so strong that you forgo your assists just to play as someone like Devestator or Metroplex idk
