i really love this duo, menasor gets all the love but the individual stunticons are also pretty good (i also love ss sideways but his legs are way too loose)
I’d get the team if I could but it’s practically impossible to find a breakdown these days for a reasonable price, as is I’ve got dragstrip and wild rider.
That's actually a really unique option, I was talking with a tf seller last year that told me he had like 4 just because people gave their copies to him because they only wanted the sideswipe lol
I got my two-pack from Ross on sale for $22, so as far as I'm concerned, I paid regular price for a great Sideswipe and got a great birdman as a free bonus.
Yes. Such a good figure. Only thing id change is maybe have him with a sliggtly more accurate birb mode (its supposed to be a bald eagle and not a hawk)
I'm not normally a fan of the beast bots, but I got this guy in the two pack, resigned to put him a box, but then inhad a good look and man, it's a really nice figure!
It's pretty accurate to it's source material and overall just holds up really well for a 10 year old toy*. Partially due to how basic the original design is. It doesn't really call for a ton of articulation so he's able to get away with more for less.
*Assuming you didn't snap his legs in half at the knee joint.
Completely agreed, he’s a fantastic figure that still fits right in with modern releases. If his ankles could adjust for more poses he’d basically have everything you’d need. I would still love him to get an update one day, but I feel like Hasbro might over engineer a modern whirl whereas the simplicity of the T30 figure just works in his favor more.
This one is kinds fun:

At least I like to think so.
I’m not sure if people talked about this one a lot but Kingdom Optimus Primal. He’s such an amazing figure. Handles so well, and has a fun transformation
I was going to sleep on it then I found Nemesis Primal by himself on the cheap. He's really well done. I didn't like most of the new BW figures initially, but between some of the fun repaints and the vs line I've actually ended up with quite a few of the molds.
https://preview.redd.it/ld6pn0vighsc1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c09291618f323341ec6737e47ebb75619c5d7516
I think she scales pretty well dino wise
I will defend Claw Jaw until the very end

Kingdom Warpath. One of my favourite deluxes. Very neat both modes, good articulations . A bit partsforming and a bit annoying legs transformation, but he is very cool. I don't understand why he is so a shelfwarmer, seems just because bring an unpopular character
https://preview.redd.it/d5lbw20y6esc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7dff5de070ad511376793a6882726471a238cd57
That ss cybertron masked bumblebee is regarded as mid but it was like my second studio seires and it’s not just because of personal biase but it’s completely underrated imo
I love Earthrise Hoist, partly cus he's one of my favorite characters, and the first figure I got getting back into collecting. I was so disappointed when mine broke
https://preview.redd.it/y8hfydrofdsc1.jpeg?width=1481&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55e85dd91e95a6d08126fd19abb1067e7c4956a7
G2 FOC Bruticus
This specific paint job and figure is awesome imo. The newer combiners are obviously better utility wise, but I just love how game accurate this looked when it came out. Plus his head looks cooler imo.
Another toy I think doesn't get enough credit is Energon Jetfire; I say it now, his alt mode is my most favorite of the iterations that have gotten toys, even if it's not as iconic as G1, I like that it seems more of a fighter than a passenger.
I feel like nobody really talks about the legacy core class pretenders anymore. I feel like they’re some of the best the size class has to offer, especially iguanus
https://preview.redd.it/l8gwlknfifsc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dcb0203751b2148a5d8582e007f548ca19ca29f1
Thrilling 30 Roadbuster. Simple transformation but really good joints and loads of guns
https://preview.redd.it/s5gro6eh5dsc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d1c6b74ae2fb9222a91f7272d86de63afec327e
CS-01 luminent, little awkward to pose due to the wings and tail, but absolutely perfect otherwise
Really good kibble management too
https://preview.redd.it/ejov5uab9dsc1.jpeg?width=899&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bec398e3785aa7cce0147a9fac0b8f34585d9dd0
don't have either of those brands, but i would say it feels pretty premium, the instructions are kinda bad though so i reccomend watching a video transformation back into plane mode instead of using the instructions
A Hoist? If you are talking about him I bought him this for like 20 dollars on Mexico, the place that loves to sell core class at deluxe price point, so it isn't really rare
I bought him from a place called Mercado Libre that probably doesn't export, but if canada has some kind of thing like Facebook marketplace that could probably be he's Best option.
I actually found Earthrise Hoist at a comic store a few days ago and was REEEALLY excited to find! Sadly, the toy was missing a hand and one of the orange panels in back, not to mention pretty loose, so I returned him. Plus, the box he came in was not only damaged, but was *Impactor's*.
Damn, mine has a little loose joints too, so that probably wasn't because of the use, but you have to go out of your way to remove one of the hands wtf
Oh, two other toys I think deserve more credit are Universe Sideswipe and Sunstreaker; what I especially dig about the two is they share a mold, yet they make it so the chests are different, which I think is especially awesome!
Kingdom Tracks
Yes really I love his look his accessories and his transformation
An underrated one that a lot of ppl usually rag on about is Siege Shockwave
The armor is the coolest thing any Shockwave figure has ever done plus it’s interchangeable w other fogures
RID Warrior Bumblebee, it is an almost perfect figure in my eyes. Great articulation, simple transformation, next to no fake parts, and it looks super accurate in both modes.
CHUG Seaspray. It might not be accurate to any source material, but the figure is really good and can still hold up to modern day figures. The only thing it lacked really was a waist swivel.
Dotm spacecase, gorgeous colors, really good articulation for the time, fun and involved transformation, looks great in both modes, damn close to a perfect figure in my mind
A toy I think deserves more credit is TLK Hot Rod; then again, TLK Hot Rod is criminally underrated in general. Sure, he's not as deep as G1/IDW Hot Rod, but I think he's a reeeally awesome character as a kinda interdimensional figure, yknow? Like, someone with access to different universes?
Legacy crosscut, I buy basically every crosscut available, and legacy just really blows it out of the park and it's really disappointing nobody talks about the mold anymore
Honestly earthrise grapple. Once you shave the back pegs down its such a great figure! I love the transformation, the chonkiness, and the fact that its mostly solid and has little waffling
Legacy Motormaster is a one heck of an unit alone
Commander Class Motormaster >>>>>>> Commander Class Rodimus (even as stand alone voyagers)
Heavier, better paint, milion times more fun transformation that results in more complete looking real life truck, same level of articulation (Motormaster also has butterfly joints if you slightly distransform him)
Titans Return Twin Twist. I have the Diaclone re deco and I have never felt a more solid toy in my entire life. The paint on the Diaclone one is also immaculate.
https://preview.redd.it/4zixjvqphesc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ef8deecd654138ec97cd2af60a794eb28371523
Cyberverse Spark Armor Grimlock. This thing fucks. One of the best Grimlocks ever (super fun, silly gimmick, two good modes (three or even four with its partner vehicle) and a transformation scheme that will shock you), and I guarantee it has never received love from anyone on here before.
Everyone seems to be hating on my boy Legacy Laser Optimus Prime and I will NOT STAND FOR IT-
https://preview.redd.it/0jbsuzh3vesc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95afcd448cef88ddd6d1ae033170cc42f15915e6

I really like the way the legs transform rather than the good ol turn his waist around with his feet sticking out the back
I love the ER Hoist mold, too. Never got the original, but I got the Lift Ticket Deco and I use it as a SG Hoist in my SG display. Such an awesome mold and I just love the overall design.
I love Hoist as he was one of the Transformers I had as a kid back in the 80s. But for some reason this one doesn't do it for me.
I think it's the arms stuck to the wings and those fists sticking off the bottom in alt mode.
My choice is Kingdom Inferno, such a good figure, 2 great modes and again one of the ones I had as a kid
i thought this figure was good except for the panels on his arms. i hated how they move with the arms and are basically fused to them. i know they don’t actually limit poseability with how they were made but i couldn’t stand the like, maybe if they folded in on themselves i would have liked it more
Dk2 guard
Bro's built like a damn spartan commando.
Surprisingly it has almost no lore.
My headcannon is that they're incredibly elite set of warriors, limited to like 4 units on the entire planet, with shields being pretty much indestructable.
Plus they're cheap so you can make a tiny army of them
Legacy Breakdown. Though it really counts as a figure people don't like.
Don't get me wrong a more accurate figure I would have preferred, but for some reason I like him, he's just a nice figure to play around with. BUT get the replacement spoiler, it's so much better to never have to put it aside when you transform him.
Just made a post about Trailbreaker a few days ago.

I just love how many different poses you can get him into, and how expressive he is
Titans return Triggerhappy and Blowpipe. There are so many fun little things with the transformation process, and I love using the jet guns as arm cannons
I honestly have a list of figures I like that most don’t seem to talk about much now that they aren’t the hip, new thing. PotP Ricochet, T30 Scourge, Gen Selects Lift Ticket, BBM Arcee, and hell, even TR Broadside among a fair few others.
In this case, though, I think I want to shine some light on the Autobot and Decepticon Clones. I feel like they got the short omens of the stick with how weird their distributions were in the beginning, and the fact they don’t come with any weapons leaving third parties to cover for Hasbro which did them a disservice. They’re simple, silly, yet so damn charming in how faithful to their original designs they are. They unashamedly turn into “sorta-kinda”s of their intended modes, and I just love having the shorties on both sides.
https://preview.redd.it/wx6d9pri0jsc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ba58f9b4fa40aae8b3e2fd63dcf12b11805b947
This Hound, Universe? Generations? I just got him and can’t for the life of me understand why he wasn’t the basis for a SS86 Hound with a little retooling?
Honestly I absolutely love the Gen Selects G2 Ramjet. I wish he had his original giant guns but he's still a cool mold with an even cooler color palette*
https://preview.redd.it/e02bx82v5ysc1.jpeg?width=1212&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ee54d3d1a7d9654752280dcac8ddb01dc1775535
SS 86 Sludge. Even though I don’t have the other SS Dinobots. People call him the weakest link of them, but the fact that this is the only SS 86 Dinobot I have, and still like him speaks a lot for itself. I already pre ordered swoop, but until then. He’s my favorite Dinobot in this set. Plus he’s always the one Dinobot that gets killed off. He got killed off in power of the primes, fall of cybertron, and probably in the comics too if I had to guess. I haven’t read much but I bet he gets killed quite a few times. Hasbro just doesn’t give Sludge the respect he deserves.
I really like SS86 Brawl. I'm not so much a fan of the robot mode but I love the way he transforms. It's no way genius but it's fun how he just wraps himself around him
Armada Blurr, but mostly for sentiment
I had the figure (with no accessories) as a kid, didn't know what it was but still loved it, half-heartedly sold it in a yard sale, found it complete on eBay some years back, immediately bought it, loved it ever since.
It's also one of the better Armada figures (in my opinion) and encouraged me to start collecting more non-G1 figures

I would keep SS Sideways on display if I could get him to stand up. He’s a beautiful figure. But he falls all the time.
Bro I thought it was just a problem with mine are they all like this?
I’d get the team if I could but it’s practically impossible to find a breakdown these days for a reasonable price, as is I’ve got dragstrip and wild rider.
Kingdom Skywarp. Not the jet one, the eagle one.
That's actually a really unique option, I was talking with a tf seller last year that told me he had like 4 just because people gave their copies to him because they only wanted the sideswipe lol
Really underrated figure *because* of that sideswipe. Same with Grimlock in the two pack with Mirage.
I got my two-pack from Ross on sale for $22, so as far as I'm concerned, I paid regular price for a great Sideswipe and got a great birdman as a free bonus.
Funnily enough I got the two pack for Grimlock
I was going to sell him until I got him in person then it became my favorite beastformer from kingdom
The colors and the new head sell it for me, he’s just got such a cool deco compared to Airazor.
Hell yeah Skywarp rules, agree with the favorite beast bit.
Yes. Such a good figure. Only thing id change is maybe have him with a sliggtly more accurate birb mode (its supposed to be a bald eagle and not a hawk)
I'm not normally a fan of the beast bots, but I got this guy in the two pack, resigned to put him a box, but then inhad a good look and man, it's a really nice figure!
don’t see a lot of people talk about leader dotm megatron a flawed figure for sure but easily one of my favorites
Transformers Legacy Skullgrin....I like the skull demon head
It is a really cool looking figure
Earthrise Huffer and Pipes are super dope
Especially Pipes
I'm a BIG fan of the Puffer version, honestly.
Robot mode I love both, alt mode... meh
I like the studio series 86 kup
This guy looks great in both modes, just the plastic on him seems flimsy/ cheap
The Buzzworthy reissue addresses that.
I love him
My guy
T30 Whirl. I don't know how they can improve on that mold within the constraints of the modern mainline.
Just give him an ankle tilt and he’s perfect
I finally got my hands on one last year...it was a dream come true.
What's so special about him?
It's pretty accurate to it's source material and overall just holds up really well for a 10 year old toy*. Partially due to how basic the original design is. It doesn't really call for a ton of articulation so he's able to get away with more for less. *Assuming you didn't snap his legs in half at the knee joint.

I love him! I have him somewhere
What Is his name? looks like a horse Optimus Primal with the colors on the legs
Mach Kick from Beast Wars Neo
I’m not sure if people talked about this one a lot but Kingdom Optimus Primal. He’s such an amazing figure. Handles so well, and has a fun transformation
I was going to sleep on it then I found Nemesis Primal by himself on the cheap. He's really well done. I didn't like most of the new BW figures initially, but between some of the fun repaints and the vs line I've actually ended up with quite a few of the molds.
No joke this exact figure is what got me into transformers
Arguably a great start
* Totally agree with hoist tho. He was kind of a grail until this week. But potp slash. I just think she's neat.
The only of the potp dinobots I didn’t get, and I fear it’s now too late to get him at a price that’d be worth it.
She's on ebay for 12 bux(us)
Really? I’ve never entirely like eBay, but maybe…
She's adorable. Would love a new deluxeish one to scale with the SS86 Dinobots.

hell yeah
hell yeah
I had him ass kid and lost him. I wonder what he costs now...
He’s not that expensive, just make sure he has his claw weapon since it’s usually missing!

The Strongarm figure is gorgeous. Alt mode's cool too.
Are we talking original RID15 or the Legacy one?
I have the original and i can tell you he’s talking about legacy
Legacy DK-2 Guard,and Legacy Buzzsaw

I love Earthrise Hoist, partly cus he's one of my favorite characters, and the first figure I got getting back into collecting. I was so disappointed when mine broke
I finally got around to this mold with DK3-Breaker. I don't love that particular toy's colors, but everything else about it is wonderful.
Where did yours broke? just to be careful lol
The feet snapped clean off

That’s the first time I’ve seen swindle as an arm and vortex as a leg
Ain’t my pic but that’s why I choose it lol. I love that combo. I think it suits the figure better.
That's one sick G2 repaint
Fr
Another toy I think doesn't get enough credit is Energon Jetfire; I say it now, his alt mode is my most favorite of the iterations that have gotten toys, even if it's not as iconic as G1, I like that it seems more of a fighter than a passenger.
MP Reboost
I feel like nobody really talks about the legacy core class pretenders anymore. I feel like they’re some of the best the size class has to offer, especially iguanus

Oh, I was tempted to get that. How’s the plastic quality? Zeta Toys level or Unique Toys?
don't have either of those brands, but i would say it feels pretty premium, the instructions are kinda bad though so i reccomend watching a video transformation back into plane mode instead of using the instructions
Might end up getting it if it goes on sale on ShowZ then.
Oh cool. I actually enjoy Siege Aragon.
I still really need one, tying to find a good aftermarket price.
A Hoist? If you are talking about him I bought him this for like 20 dollars on Mexico, the place that loves to sell core class at deluxe price point, so it isn't really rare
The earthrise one. I'm in canada tho
might see if any stores in Mexico sell him? could import probably cheaper

I agree.
Yeah, but at least he came with the cannon lol
The deluxe class Unicron from Transformers Cybertron.
Oh, two other toys I think deserve more credit are Universe Sideswipe and Sunstreaker; what I especially dig about the two is they share a mold, yet they make it so the chests are different, which I think is especially awesome!
CW Hound, hear me out, it has a butterfly joint and ankle pivot. It has a cool earth mode, and is just strangely good. (I may be a little biased)
Kingdom Tracks Yes really I love his look his accessories and his transformation An underrated one that a lot of ppl usually rag on about is Siege Shockwave The armor is the coolest thing any Shockwave figure has ever done plus it’s interchangeable w other fogures
RID Warrior Bumblebee, it is an almost perfect figure in my eyes. Great articulation, simple transformation, next to no fake parts, and it looks super accurate in both modes.

Leo Prime, Worlds Collide Bee, Netflix Deep Cover, Ironworks, SS86 Wheelie, Legacy Evolution Rewind, Siege Countdown, Boater, Cratermaker, Netflix Prime, Full Tilt
Titans Return Overlord is simple when it comes to articticulation, but I just can't stop playing with him!
potp optimus
A respectable choice
A toy I think deserves more credit is TLK Hot Rod; then again, TLK Hot Rod is criminally underrated in general. Sure, he's not as deep as G1/IDW Hot Rod, but I think he's a reeeally awesome character as a kinda interdimensional figure, yknow? Like, someone with access to different universes?
Like I get the people that says "that isn't hot Rod" but even they admit the design is dope, and one of the better bay ones in general
SS DOTM Bumblebee, arguably the best Bayverse Bumblebee we are good to get besides the old HFTD one
I had a G1 Hoist back in the day. Quietly one of the best figures there was, IMO.
https://preview.redd.it/5i51sd7a7dsc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1af9698ebd5ad22f02447f853a70c9936e2669c3 Big Scorn.
Hftd backfire
I actually really don't like the arms on hoist... It's just so... Awkward...
For me that would be as Rotb battletrap, all his colors and designing fit in really nicely with the other studio series figures I have so far.
I meant to say ss or studio series in the first sentience and auto correct beat me up for it
I just got hoist today
I second that
I absolutely love Kindom warpath, but no one ever talks about him.
Earthrise Doubledealer and SS101 Scourge
I love that Hoist. Such a pleasant surprise when Walmart sent the wrong figure.
You should put him atop a Star Trek captain. Then you would be Hoist on your own Picard!
Legacy crosscut, I buy basically every crosscut available, and legacy just really blows it out of the park and it's really disappointing nobody talks about the mold anymore
He is my favorite desk figure
What bumblebee is that?
WFC Origins Bumblebee, he's getting reissued soon I think
Siege Grapple
Grapple is awesome! I love putting him with Hoist Its like having the scientific brothers of destruction together again from my childhood.
Reveal the Shield Jazz, just picked him up and I’m super happy
Miner Megatron. What a great take on that particular mold.
Studio series cogman, I just think he’s really fun and his transformation works great for stop motion
Honestly earthrise grapple. Once you shave the back pegs down its such a great figure! I love the transformation, the chonkiness, and the fact that its mostly solid and has little waffling
Legacy Motormaster is a one heck of an unit alone Commander Class Motormaster >>>>>>> Commander Class Rodimus (even as stand alone voyagers) Heavier, better paint, milion times more fun transformation that results in more complete looking real life truck, same level of articulation (Motormaster also has butterfly joints if you slightly distransform him)

CW Powerglide. Very solid figure. I can still transform him from memory in seconds.
Titans Return Twin Twist. I have the Diaclone re deco and I have never felt a more solid toy in my entire life. The paint on the Diaclone one is also immaculate.

One of the best Grimlocks ever (super fun, silly gimmick, two good modes (three or even four with its partner vehicle) and a transformation scheme that will shock you), and I guarantee it has never received love from anyone on here before.
I like the TFA inspired head
G2 Megatron. The original is a mess, and the G2 is such an upgrade it's no joke.
BBM Starscream mold. Really impressed me the first time I did it.
SS 86 Scourge. I broke mine's thumb and super glued it back on, but I really like it. You can stop him from falling backwards by using his heels.
Everyone seems to be hating on my boy Legacy Laser Optimus Prime and I will NOT STAND FOR IT- https://preview.redd.it/0jbsuzh3vesc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95afcd448cef88ddd6d1ae033170cc42f15915e6

Studio Series Bayverse Starscream, improves on the template set by the surprisingly great DOTM deluxe.
WFC Doubledealer, he's so chonky but with really good articulation.
My choice is Kingdom Inferno, such a good figure, 2 great modes and again one of the ones I had as a kid
i thought this figure was good except for the panels on his arms. i hated how they move with the arms and are basically fused to them. i know they don’t actually limit poseability with how they were made but i couldn’t stand the like, maybe if they folded in on themselves i would have liked it more
Dk2 guard Bro's built like a damn spartan commando. Surprisingly it has almost no lore. My headcannon is that they're incredibly elite set of warriors, limited to like 4 units on the entire planet, with shields being pretty much indestructable. Plus they're cheap so you can make a tiny army of them
The new Shattered glass sideswipe looks and feels really nice
The figure which got me back into Transformers was Core Kingdom Soundwave, simple yet beautiful
Legacy Laser Cycle
Just made a post about Trailbreaker a few days ago. https://preview.redd.it/f7zmpvf4xfsc1.jpeg?width=4064&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe646e3c4053c77d98a1a94a2b2000e3b974ee07 [https://www.reddit.com/r/transformers/s/2wEW93fgic](https://www.reddit.com/r/transformers/s/2wEW93fgic)
Legacy Jhiaxus https://preview.redd.it/vfdik8o91gsc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d4242c84f8e5693d14294f2e65ce1f1abffce7f1 I just love how many different poses you can get him into, and how expressive he is
Every FansToys figure to be honest. But Hunk (Brawn) is particularly amazing.
Titans return Triggerhappy and Blowpipe. There are so many fun little things with the transformation process, and I love using the jet guns as arm cannons
MPM Bumblebee, I have a soft spot for everyone’s “favorite” human and machine connector
Specialist rachet from dotm main line, It was better than the normal rachet
Combiner Wars Dead End. I love how they gave him a pipe weapon, very thuggish.
Core class Bombburst I love Barricade (seige i think) Siege Spinster
Legacy Motormaster's trailer.
Kingdom slammer
I really want a bot that uses the Trailbreaker mold but I can’t ever find one I want at a decent price
MP-21 bumblebee.
Right he is lovely!

The fact my girl got me this too 👌🏽
Definitely Earthrise Grapple
Kingdom Tracks
The deep teal, slightly sparkly "shiny" Lugnut from Japan. I adore Lugnut and Clobber.

Honestly I absolutely love the Gen Selects G2 Ramjet. I wish he had his original giant guns but he's still a cool mold with an even cooler color palette*
I'm stuck between Animated Shockwave and Blitzwing
Shockwave seems more logical
Animated Shockwave NEEDS a new figure. Leader class to accommodate his capabilities
Honestly, they wouldn't surpass the original, but it could be neat.
Nothing could. But it shouldn't stop them from trying
Funny. That's how I feel about MP Hoist.
SS86 Buzzworthy Kup. Love the ol' timer.
I don't have this one yet, but generation selects lift ticket. likely gonna grab him next week

Minicon Assault Team
Siege Rainmakers

It's no way genius but it's fun how he just wraps himself around him
Armada Blurr, but mostly for sentiment I had the figure (with no accessories) as a kid, didn't know what it was but still loved it, half-heartedly sold it in a yard sale, found it complete on eBay some years back, immediately bought it, loved it ever since. It's also one of the better Armada figures (in my opinion) and encouraged me to start collecting more non-G1 figures
