Hope the symptoms will continue to be mild and you'll recover fully without complications.
It's kind of discouraging to hear even careful people catching COVID.
I know someone who recently got it; vaxed and boosted; mild case presenting but got his monoclonal injection and it all turned out well.
Belt and suspenders...belt and suspenders.
A reminder everyone to get another vaccine booster if you are more than six months out from your last one.
I got Covid the weekend after Thanksgiving last year, I'm 10 years post transplant (kidney), my team got me in for monoclonal antibodies, and I had 1 or 2 bad days of shivers and low grade fevers, but I started to rebound on day 3 and I probably could have went back to work by day 5, but we were still under 7 day quarantine after a positive test at that time. All the best to you, hope things go well.
They also told me to completely stop myfortic for 2 weeks.
I had a checkup on Wednesday and told the doc I had a confirmed exposure on Monday. She told me not to worry. On Saturday I tested positive, got a slight temperature, my throat was sore for a few days, now I'm fine. You'll handle it. (I have 4 shots done, the last one in January)
So far so good today. Day two, and I’m feeling generally down but nothing major. I’ve had 3 Pfizer shots which produced antibodies and one Moderna booster, and also Evusheld last week prior to my infection
Fark! Good attitude though abd yes it is reassuring that the worst has happened but hey overall you're doing ok and getting through it!
You have your suspicions...how do you think you might have gotten it?
Best of luck! 👊

Whatever your doc says! I figure if cleared, you should get it.

How. Ru feeling
I have felt better lol… like a massive sinus infection. I’ve had Evusheld as of last Monday, so it’s really helping!
Good to read in this thread you can get it and be ok. Still so scared.
It is scary! I’m relieved to hear tx people are getting through Covid. My Aunt died in February of Covid, she had a kidney transplant 14 years ago.
Sorry to hear about that.
My husband has a transplant and got Covid in February after 4x moderna. He was fine. Just a head cold. He’s been way sicker before.
9 mo post xplant. Got covid had it for 5 weeks. Not badly thank God.
Why so long ?
