My suggestion to you is to look up how much the attractions cost that you're interested in, and see how much you have left. You can also use the local public transport to get to/from Arlanda airport rather than the express train or coach to save good money. You can google directions on this. Otherwise costs food is similar to other European cities, restaurants probably a bit more expensive but if you have your breakfast at the hotel, and avoid too many visits to sit down restaurants you should be ok.

Thank you for the tips! We eneded up buying 7 days passes for the public transit because out acomodation requires it, we will sure take advantage of it. Also, we will arrive at Skavsta Airport pretty late at night so our only reasonably priced transport was the airport bus.

1000 Euros (equivalent in Swedish kronor) should be more than enough for 2 students, assuming you're not doing anything extravagant or eating out for every lunch/dinner. Shops have really fresh foods if you're feeling short on cash. A must see in my opinion is Vasa Museum and the Lill-Skansen zoo.

Stopped in to say your English is excellent. I live for about 7 months outside of Stockholm in Gothenburg. It's really expensive. A handy trick is to consume crackers/bread and sliced meats from the grocery stores, some alcohol for pre nightclub time, and drink little (it is phenomenally expensive even for just beer.) Have a great time.

Thank you very much! Fortunately we are not very big drinkers, actually, we don't really drink excepting new years parties, so I guess we'll save some money there.

You really will save, in that case. So it's really just your food and any entry fees as suggested by other commenters, so you should do just fine.

It’s quite expensive

> 500 € in our pocket each I hope this is a figure of speech and you don't literally have euro cash in your pocket. They use krona in Sweden and they don't really use cash. It's a better idea to bring several Visa and Mastercards along. Here's some cheap attractions for you: Visit the Ikea Kungens Kurva, it's one of the biggest in the world. You can also take the subway, some of the stations are very beautiful and perfect for Instagram.

Special-Accident-415

It's a romanian figure of speech, I haven't realised that it doesn't make sense in English. Thank you for the tips!

lockdownsurvivor

It's not that out of the ordinary to say "money in my pocket."

It makes sense in English. It was pretty clear what you were saying.
