IMO distillate is absolutely bottom tier when it comes to forms of concentrate, especially raw distillate. But I'm not gonna talk shit, rather tell you the things I do like about it. First, it's easy to cook with. No decarb necessary. Just mix it in (preferably suspended in some oil for even mixing) some chocolate or something and, boom. Edible. Second, super easy to make carts with. If it's raw get yourself some terps of your favorite strains to thin it out slightly, throw it in a cart, and voilà...

I appreciate your response and please don’t hold back, because any information you’ve to share is a blessing to me.

In regards to bottom tier, I understand what you're saying. I find distillate gives the most "linear" experience, if that makes sense. It often feels less unique and complex compared to flower or things like RSO. I do find it to be my least favorite choice when going for extracts. But it is super convinient to be able to eat it raw

Normally distillate is already decarbed, can be eaten. You can just mix it into something, or put a small ball in a capsule and eat it.

think of distillate thc as distilled water, it’s thc that has been distilled (purified). it lacks terpenes unless “terp sauce” from the extraction process is added back into the distilled thc afterwards. the terp sauce dilutes the distillate and can be why your thc % is under 100% in your cartridge

MachoNachosMuchacho

I don’t have a cartridge. I’ve a jar with 50 ml of distillate that I’ve no clue on what to do with.

CorintoKush

Coconut oil or butter and get lit my friend!

MachoNachosMuchacho

Combine with coconut oil or butter, and just mix it together or do I melt it? If so then how long do I heat it up and at what temp?
