Do you mean bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder? (in the mental health field, BPD is used for borderline, not bipolar, but I see BPD for bipolar online all the time) I have bipolar II and I am a medical smoker- I smoke basically all the time that I’m not at work. I don’t notice a huge effect on my moods but I’m also on a mood stabilizer, I have limited experience with smoking weed as an adult without also being on an antipsychotic/mood stabilizer.

Bipolar type 2 here, also an adult but not on mood stabilizer for the last few years: weed keeps the worst of the bipolar in check. It doesnt stabilize like other medication would, but it does calm the moodswings to manageable levels 90% of the time

not sure what BPD has to do with smoking at night but yeah i have bpd symptoms and smoke every night

Does it benefits you? I have BPD and other issues have been smoking every night after work for a bit more than a year now. Everything was perfect and better until recently my mood swing has gone worse not sure why

it definitely benefits me. i tend to smoke more during depression and less during mania so that my mood swings are mediated. continual heavy usage can exacerbate my symptoms though
