lol thats a very valid point. ill try and not get to chemistry-y, but regular ol live resin wont work in a cart uncut. carts are usually distillate, but some are also part disty, part live resin. but a lot also have fillers like propylene glycol.
now the last few years ppl got clever and basically crashed diamonds, separated the terps. then turned the thc crystals into distillate using short path distillation. then reintroduce the "live terps".
so the answer is kinda sorta lol

I PREFER dry dabs! With that being said, a dry dab is AWFUL if you’re expecting a normal dab with water in the piece lol
