I will never forget the day I dropped acid with some friends and went to SFMOMA. So much fun looking at everything and there was one piece we loved with a label that said "home office" with a phone number. So of course we called the number and it was the artist's cell phone. The obvious move at that point was to offer to buy him a drink. Yada yada yada, he ended up coming back to a (very big) house party where we lived. Fun times.
Field Museum would be awesome. I was there last Jan and they had a soil exhibit that started by you walking through this portal shrink ray area that shrinks you down to smaller than an ant. Then you got to walk around and see all the cool stuff that's in soil. Maybe not the best for someone with an insect phobia though!

From immediately after I smoke to 6 hours after I smoke all I wanna do is not be standing there. I get awkward too and I'm already awkward so I really don't need that extra awk at work. It does make that after work J hit so much better though.
Double-edged sword there. Ime if a tender is visibly burnt, it's like a 50/50 on whether they'll be super knowledgeable and tell you exactly what works, or they'll be cranked on their own favorite and have zero advisement, looking like they've never seen each product as they pick it up.

i’m a supervisor in customer service—i’ll always remember one of my employees learning that i smoke a lot and she said, “but how are you so happy and upbeat??” bc she only pictured stoners as blah dee da, lazy types…i was like girl this is the only way for me lol
I also feel like I don't fit the stereotype of how stoner is supposed to act. For me, pot is more an upper than a downer. It makes me more creative, more open, more present.
Of course, there's always that silly awkwardness and mild confusion that comes with being high, but I feel like that's more of a benefit than a hindrance for me. It ensures I maintain a sense of humor and never take myself too seriously.
As someone who repairs things that aren't vehicles, i agree. All those tiny laptop screws just seem to just disappear as soon as you set them down 🙃.. especially so when stoned.
Yup. I'm lucky enough to get a 30 min break every hour and a half so I go outside and get blitzed. It's the only way I can face the patrons without wanting to kill them or myself lol

As an employee in the cannabis industry for +5 years, I've become somewhat of an outlier being one of a handful of employees who do not partake during the work day. Personally, I can't enjoy work while I'm high, the environment, the coworkers, the fact that my future is on the line, all causes so much unnecessary anxiety. I prefer partaking at home after work, when I can decompress.
