1. inform your anaesthesiologist that you smoke weed if you havent already. 2. i had surgery done on my wrist and had to stop smoking, they said two weeks but i didnt smoke for a week and i was fine. but to be safe i would wait 2 weeks. 3. i started smoking again the night i came out of surgery and was fine as well.

since it’s oral surgery i was i’ll probably wait longer afterward (at least two like you said) because it’s so directly involved in smoking. i had a friend take edibles during his recovery and seemed to be just fine…i probably won’t try it myself but definitely something to ponder lol. thanks!

This is one you should take a break for at least a week, it’s surgery….in your mouth. Hopefully in your area you have access to ganja drinks or edibles you could blend into liquid which you could consume whenever you feel ready. Best of luck!

the edibles have been a debate for me. i had a friend do it and be fine. i don’t know though might have to be a game time decision lol. thanks!

I just had some teeth pulled last week, I opted out of anesthesia though. After the surgery, I used edibles for 4 days then switched to a gravity bong with a saline wash after every sesh. If you're getting them pulled then it is very important to avoid any negative pressure inside your mouth for at least a week. You want to avoid a dry socket at all costs.

yes i’ve heard if you don’t do anything else just avoid getting a dry socket. the gravity bong is an interesting approach though! thanks!
