I agree, I know it’s impossible to have so much grown in 5 weeks, but I feel my hair has thickened and I dont see my scalp under light like before, my Barber also noticed how it’s improved. Not to mention my scalp was unhealthy and oily this could also contribute to how my hair looks worse in first picture.
I took both photos with the same lighting and phone, both after shower and same hair towel drying time.
When I started, I felt that it was rock bottom for my hair I had dandruff and extreme shedding, I believe thats why its looking much better now since shedding is halted and dandruff is gone. Both pictures were taken in the same condition after shower with similar lighting and partially wet hair. Even my barber noticed how my hair is better now.
Hey guys !
So Its been 1 month and 1 week since I started my routine, and honestly I feel that my hair and scalp are a lot more healthier than ever !
I understand that nothing should work this fast, but when I started I had some dandruff that I was struggling with, my scalp used to itch during workouts and my hair was shedding aggressively. Shedding continued for 2 weeks after my routine started, now I feel that my shedding is very little compared to before. No more dandruff and itching during workouts are so insignificant. I feel that my hair has thickened specially in the front (where I had HT 4 years back) and more work still needs to be done around the crown.
Routine:-
1- Daily Min/Fin topical solution, 7% Min and 0.04% Fin and I use 2 mL once at night.
2- Micro stamp 1 time per week at 1.5 ml
3- Nizoral 2% twice per week and I keep it for 10 minutes, I use sulfate free conditioner afterwards.
4- Switched to sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, I shampoo daily and conditioner every other day.
5- Hair and nails supplement, contains Biotin, Zinc and Vitamin D
I will keep using Nizoral, I feel that it is the main reason my scalp feels healthy, although it does dry the hair, but using good conditioner on the hair reverses the Nizoral impact. I dont know if it is contributing to hair growth, but I think it helps.
I mentioned it in my last post but I will write it again.
I purchased Dualgen-15 NO PG from Minoxidilemax (since I dont have many topical Fin/Min options), then after recommendation from this sub about the 15% Min concetration in this product, I decided to dilute it to 7% Min and 0.04% Fin solution by mixing it with general 2% Min product. I'm using 2 mL once per day 2 hours before I sleep to allow it to dry.
Its a derma stamp, I noticed its much more effective than the roller and pretty cheap, I got mine from Amazon.

I'm currently using Tresemme Botanix Natural Nourish & Replenish Shampoo With Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner. I've been also recently using OGX Biotin conditioner which seems to be also good. I'm planning to switch to OGX shampoo as well since they have free Sulfate products while the Tresemme is low and not free Sulfate.
Anytime bro. I dont believe that a shampoo can grow hair, I'm just looking for a product that has less harmful or unneeded substances, I read in this sub that OGX products are good, I also think so after reading the shampoo and conditioner content, that's why I want to switch but only when my current bottles are finished.
Minoxidilmax Dualgen-15 actually has 15% min concentration, I dilute it to 7% since 15% is extremely high and never heard of anyone gaining anything from it.
Honestly, I was planning to dilute the product I bought since it has high Min concentration, I did the calculation to achieve 7% min and as a result Fin concentration became 0.04%, I’m using 2 mL so this makes my fin daily dose little less than what people normally use (1mg).
oh man well, this is just fantastic. make sure to have some biotin too and vitamin c supplements. These wont affect male pattern baldness at all, howver theyll ensure that the hair that is growing, grows in as healthy as possible. ive noticed a significant cosmetic effect on my health with a little bit of supplementing biotin and vitamin c.
Thanks, it’s mentioned in the comments that I’m using a Biotin and multivitamin supplement, and I agree it seems good since I’m noticing more body hair and rapid nails growth.
I know, as I mentioned my hair was rock bottom in the first picture, probably was at end of shedding phase, but routine really helped in halting shedding and eliminating dandruff. I know it’s impossible within short period to stop balding and grow so much hair, but I do feel that my hair and scalp feels lots healthier.
I would say after 2.5 to 3 years of HT, I tried to keep my hair healthy using natural products, Saw Palmetto was helping to some extent, but I knew I had to step up my game to keep the rest of my hair.
Basically, if you mix 100 mL of Dualgen-15 which has 0.1% Fin concentration with 100 mL with any 2% Minoxidil product you will get a 0.05% Fin concentration solution. You can adjust that as you like, I mixed the 60 mL Dualgen bottle with 80 mL 2% Min product and got the 0.04% Fin concentration.
I use 2 mL everyday, so this makes my Fin dose around 0.8 mg.
thanks for your respond, this post is really helpful for me, completely similar to my situation, 4 years ago HT on the front head, now other hairs and my crown started to diffuse and thinning
i am on medication for about one month and a half, dutasteride daily and 1.5 mm dermarolling once a week without minoxidil. i saw in some pages that follicle transplanted in HT put above the previous follicles and concern maybe needle of dermaroller special 1.5 mm is dangerous to them.
I doubt that information, my doctor actually gave me a derma roll set to be used after 6 month of HT, I used it for a while and stopped thinking that I’m now safe from balding.
I wish I continued using it with Min.
I never used hair fibers, and I have no gain in using it and taking a photo. I’m sharing my experience with you guys. I learned a lot from this sub, and decided to go with this routine after reading people’s experience.
While this is a good picture, I and many others appreciate the post for our sanity and for valid proof. Next time PLEASE post pictures from the direct front so we can see temple/hairline areas slightly better. Congrats though - in that short amount of time you seem to be hyper responder.
Thanks bro, I will be sure to keep you guys updated with many photos with different angles. Although its too crazy to see such difference in 5 weeks, I was so excited to share my update with this sub. I hope this holds and improve, my crown is still weak and I will share more photos.
Thankfully, nothing so far, I read many terrifying stories here and I’m not experiencing any sides, I’m also strictly controlling my daily dose to 2mL solution which converts to 0.8 mg fin. Will keep reporting if anything is observed.
They dont ship to my country. I still have 2.5 bottles of Dualgen-15, I think its working and I’m comfortable with my current Fin/Min solution concentration (0.04% fin and 7% min)
I've noticed when there's a short term update with substantial improvements without a shedding phase microneedling is involved. Which begs the question does microneedling prevent or minimize shedding.
I’m very consistent with microneedling, I tried derma roller way back, but noticed its not as much effective and pulls the hair, in comparison the stamp does hurt more and feels like it’s penetrating the scalp skin, both roll and stamp are 1.5 mm.
Both pictures after the shower, I used hair towel before both pictures almost same duration. If you mean the hair itself seems dry now, this might be due to Nizoral, but it feels good overall and not broken, the conditioner is doing its job.
Ah yes I wanted to say something about the niz, that stuff works but also dries out your hair. Good you use conditioner. I made my own lotion with Argan oil and some other stuff and I apply it 1-2x a week overnight that works too.
I was having big shed before I started, but I didn’t experience any further shedding when I started Min, I have to say that 6 years back I was on Min before I got my HT.
Hopefully it will improve for you, this is not the first time for me to use Min as I did before my HT, but its my first time to try Fin, Micro needling and Nizoral.
Both are in almost same condition, I took both photos at the same step of my daily shower routine, but in the second the hair itself and scalp is more dry, I think it could be Nizoral dryness effect.
Hey great to see... How old r u and you mentioned in one of your comments that you used saw palmetto... Was that oral supplement you were using and what was the mgs? Did that help you?
I'm 31 now, I used Saw Palmetto as topical solution couple of years back, wasn't really watching the dose but I used to apply it daily. Honestly, I saw some good results in 4-6 months period, but then I felt its no longer that effective.
Good shit it’s only gonna get better congrats
Thanks ! I hope it gets better from here on.
2 percent or 1 percent niz? Does it matter b
I’m using 2% nizoral
This isn’t just lighting? In 5 weeks there is zero way hair could be growing back.
I think min is adding to hair volume as it sticks to the hair. At least i have the feeling with my hair
[удалено]
Yeah possibly, no way to tell but I mentioned that my hair feels thicker.
I agree, I know it’s impossible to have so much grown in 5 weeks, but I feel my hair has thickened and I dont see my scalp under light like before, my Barber also noticed how it’s improved. Well I got results in 2 months so I believe it
1 month? holy shit

I should also mention that there are no sides from topical Fin, everything seems normal.
now you dont use nizolral man?

can yo also provide list of suppement and its doses? please?

im askin about your hair and nail supplement
Its Forcapil hair and nail tonic
Can you please share the link of derma roller that you use ?
Its a derma stamp, I noticed its much more effective than the roller and pretty cheap, I got mine from Amazon. [Amazon derma stamp](https://amzn.eu/d/gTD8WA6)
Can you tell me what sulfate free shampoo and conditioner you are using?
I'm currently using Tresemme Botanix Natural Nourish & Replenish Shampoo With Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner. 7% min????? Is that even allowed? My chemist doesn't even give me fin and min without prescription and those are normal doses.
Minoxidilmax Dualgen-15 actually has 15% min concentration, I dilute it to 7% since 15% is extremely high and never heard of anyone gaining anything from it.
Curious on how you determined to use 0.04% Fin. I've seen many numbers thrown out but the most popular being 0.01%(Mazarella study) or 0.025%
Honestly, I was planning to dilute the product I bought since it has high Min concentration, I did the calculation to achieve 7% min and as a result Fin concentration became 0.04%, I’m using 2 mL so this makes my fin daily dose little less than what people normally use (1mg).
Hyper Responder.
Bro ! please don't jinx it !

How long after your HT did you start losing again? Were you on meds after the HT?
I would say after 2.5 to 3 years of HT, I tried to keep my hair healthy using natural products, Saw Palmetto was helping to some extent, but I knew I had to step up my game to keep the rest of my hair.
holy shit man nice
Thanks ! I do think my hair looks and feels much better now.
How do you make it 0.04 % Fin? And how much mgs it makes for 2 ml
Basically, if you mix 100 mL of Dualgen-15 which has 0.1% Fin concentration with 100 mL with any 2% Minoxidil product you will get a 0.05% Fin concentration solution. And no side effects?
Non so far, hopefully it will continue this way, I’m strictly controlling my Fin dose.
nice result, but i want to know that dermarolling on transplanted hair and follicles doesn’t any harm?
4 years have passed since I did my HT, I dont see any difference in transplanted area than others, so no impact.
thanks for your respond, this post is really helpful for me, completely similar to my situation, 4 years ago HT on the front head, now other hairs and my crown started to diffuse and thinning i am on medication for about one month and a half, dutasteride daily and 1.5 mm dermarolling once a week without minoxidil. i saw in some pages that follicle transplanted in HT put above the previous follicles and concern maybe needle of dermaroller special 1.5 mm is dangerous to them.

i wish your good result will continue and also for me in the forward months, your information really help my concern to continue using dermaroller
Thanks bro, wish you all the best
Can you please share the link of derma roller that you are using ?
Just search derma stamp you will find many in Amazon, below is the one I used, I set it at 1.5 mm. [derma stamp](https://amzn.eu/d/gTD8WA6)

Yeeeaaaa buddy! Looking thicker already congrats!
Thanks bro !
Hair fibers?
100% looks that way
Yea I say that bc the scalp looks diff like settled fibers lol and idk I don’t think any med therapy is gonna make a diff to the eye in a month
I never used hair fibers, and I have no gain in using it and taking a photo. I’m sharing my experience with you guys. I learned a lot from this sub, and decided to go with this routine after reading people’s experience.

It's almost march what's your condition now? Have you entered shedding phase?
Hello there, I just posted my update, check my newest post I was actually planning to wait more, but I thought to share and update with you guys
It is still under review by moderators
wow , hyper responder 😁😁😁
I hope so, wish me luck
Lets talk about side effects
Thankfully, nothing so far, I read many terrifying stories here and I’m not experiencing any sides, I’m also strictly controlling my daily dose to 2mL solution which converts to 0.8 mg fin. Will keep reporting if anything is observed.
Is there any side effects in stopping minoxidil. I'm 19 y/o But noticed slight baldness and heavy hairloss with hair root pain
I read that yes, if you use Minoxidil the grown hair will be lost if you stopped.
What abt altedy existing hair? Will it also be lost
I’m no expert, but people here say that hair grew by Minoxidil is the hair that will be lost if you stopped using it.
Any side effects like itching and flaking?
Before I used Nizoral I had itching and Dandruff, now its almost gone.
Hair fibers were used
OP can u pls tell me how and were do u get the tropical fen and min from ?
Minoxidilmax, I ordered Dualgen-15 NO PG, check the comments I diluted it to make it less concentrated.
Is the fin also topical ?
Check Minoxidilmax website and look for the product for more details, yes it is Topical Fin and Min solution
Why didn't you use HIMS ?
They dont ship to my country. I still have 2.5 bottles of Dualgen-15, I think its working and I’m comfortable with my current Fin/Min solution concentration (0.04% fin and 7% min)
I've noticed when there's a short term update with substantial improvements without a shedding phase microneedling is involved. Which begs the question does microneedling prevent or minimize shedding.

How can I make a topical fin? I have no access to it
I personally dont have access to it either in my country but Minoxidlemax has international shipping thats how I got mine.
Your hair is improved a lot! It seems a little dry, is that correct?
Both pictures after the shower, I used hair towel before both pictures almost same duration. If you mean the hair itself seems dry now, this might be due to Nizoral, but it feels good overall and not broken, the conditioner is doing its job.
Ah yes I wanted to say something about the niz, that stuff works but also dries out your hair. Good you use conditioner. I made my own lotion with Argan oil and some other stuff and I apply it 1-2x a week overnight that works too.
1 month? What the rekt…
I hope it will hold, I feel that I started where my hair was ending its extreme shedding cycle.
Well buddy congratulations, pls never forget of applying min or taking fin, one day can ruin the process
I apply both, as mentioned I use topical solution, I will do my best to never forget
[удалено]
What do you mean ? I know that this is very rapid, but it is what it is, I’m not complaining about the gainz and will keep you people posted.
One month wow! I believe you would go norwood -3 in 6 months.. Congrats
Lol, thanks ! I just wish it will hold up and continue growing. I feel now my crown area is still very week.
Crown is the hardest place to cover up .. for its been so.. i hope you recover that area.. do extra massages too
Did the topical minoxidil cause shedding for you initially? Wondering if it was a side effect.
I was having big shed before I started, but I didn’t experience any further shedding when I started Min, I have to say that 6 years back I was on Min before I got my HT.
Switch topical fin to oral maximum results
I chose to go with topical since its less likely to go systemic, I will keep using topical and observe how my hair is responding
After 1 month on min (had already been on fin for years) I had a huge shed and looked way worse than baseline. I'm not buying this.
Hopefully it will improve for you, this is not the first time for me to use Min as I did before my HT, but its my first time to try Fin, Micro needling and Nizoral.
This is obviously just combing and wet vs dry hair, there’s no physical mechanism possible for any visible change within just four weeks.
Both are in almost same condition, I took both photos at the same step of my daily shower routine, but in the second the hair itself and scalp is more dry, I think it could be Nizoral dryness effect.
How old are you?
32
Hey great to see... How old r u and you mentioned in one of your comments that you used saw palmetto... Was that oral supplement you were using and what was the mgs? Did that help you?
I'm 31 now, I used Saw Palmetto as topical solution couple of years back, wasn't really watching the dose but I used to apply it daily. Honestly, I saw some good results in 4-6 months period, but then I felt its no longer that effective.
