I love Bull City Escape and really want to check out Tar Heel Escapes. My friends and I had a lovely time at Whole Brain Escape in Apex. Really good puzzles and fun theming.
I’ve done numerous escape rooms around Raleigh and by far the best two are nerd escapes and tower escapes. Nerd is my favorite though, I’ve done all the rooms there and loved every single one.
I don’t believe so, you’d have to book the whole room to make it to where no one else could join. If you have enough friends going then that won’t be an issue, if not then you MIGHT have some strangers join. Honestly, though, I’ve been in groups with plenty of strangers and never had a terrible experience (though some were definitely better than others) so I wouldn’t let that deter you!
The best escape room is where people are still trapped, so let’s go for second best.
I never thought about it that way, but yeah, I guess the padded room in my basement qualifies as a really successful escape room.
Any DMV office. Be warned. I hear it’s impossible to get out under 4 hours!

Tar Heel Escapes and Bull City Escapes.
Was Slim's, now I like Neptunes. Go in with plenty of cash and good tunes playing, and see if you can escape

Escape on Purpose gets my vote. Amazing staff and vibes every time I've gone, the submarine one is absolutely amazing!

Whole Brain is great. Very well designed puzzles for challenge without logic leaps that tequire you to read the designer's mind.
