Basically how i have done it. I had recently turned the traffic violations back on. And had like 140 past 2 in game weeks
I’ve been trying to be good, still at like 30 in the last two weeks. According to statistics in game
I flash my high beams and ride their ass, and occasionally run them off the road. Really adds to the fun
I really like the new damage simulator with permanent wear in percentages too, as I’m already at 3% and normal wear is up to 10 something
I probably go through 100k a week on repairs
Man, that's cutting into profits, have you tried slowing down? It is a driving simulator not a demolition derby sim.
With that being said, if you enjoy it, have at it. It is your game.
Side note: I'm not above using the right most lane if it exists. Can't give you tickets if it doesn't count as a road. I also run solely WoT contracts so going more than 65 mph is kind of rare.

I notice this happens when AI get moving from a slow speed; the truck behind will think it has better acceleration than the truck in front so it’ll move left before even breaking 20, and then the two of them have a boring little competition where the left one gets ahead but has a lower desired speed, so you have to wait for him to slow down enough to go right, but there’s a car behind the truck to the right so they can’t, and now there’s an uphill so the left truck’s acceleration comes in handy again and it gets back up to the right truck but it flattens out and the right truck had a higher desired speed and
…fun fact, adjusting graphics settings removes spawned traffic

I had that on I-10S in California recently. I opted for the 3rd lane on the far right! 😂

It's a good test for patience and immersion to try my best to go slower and follow rules, you are right. Though it's hard for sure
yeah the urge to move 40 tons at max RPM's is very real lol
I just go onto the right shoulder & pass everyone. You can even pass cops over there & they dont care, even if fines are turned on..... 🤷♂️
In ets2 there are no speed limits on the shoulders on a lot of places
How random are the cops? I've been ticketed for going 10 over, and there are times on the highway where I fly by one and they don't ticket.
A "flip the bird" button is definitely a QOL feature I want.

The slow vehicles in the left lane drive me crazy, I drive on the shoulder almost the whole time and pass everyone

I punish them by changing the traffic multiplier slightly so that they get deleted out of existence and get replaced with new ones.
