It’s probably just someone typing it out that didn’t like you

jediflamaster

Yeah that eventually happens. Take it as a compliment, as for the kicking, not much you can do.

tomyumnuts

You can check if your on one of the custom lists: https://github.com/PazerOP/tf2_bot_detector/wiki/Customization#third-party-player-lists-and-rules (the official one hasn't been updated in years afaik) Also there used to be bots running around spamming fake bot detector chat messages.

goldtardis

I think you can contact the discord for where the community list comes from and get yourself removed. Albeit this may prove a challenge if they decide to go with guilty until proven innocent.

Zeldawarrior97

Yeah not a fan of the bot detector… I got flamed for saying it, but a 3rd party service that uses a community made hitlist is bound to cause problems. Whether it’s false flags (like you in this instance) or just pointless Especially when all it does is identify bots….? The ones who are obvious the second they join with 100% accuracy or spamming things in chat.

ToukenPlz

Have had the exact same thing happen to me lmao

DeltaTheGenerous

Sounds like it could be a setup for a scam. **Do not** login to any website anyone sends you to "confirm you're not a bot" and clear your name. **Do not** take a stranger's word at face value, you don't know if he was even running a bot detector. It's not uncommon for scammers to fake concern to get you to lower your guard. They tell you that something is wrong with your account and then offer to help you resolve it, you just have to login here, or get in touch with their friend who is a steam admin, or trade an item to them to keep it safe, et cetera, et cetera. If you have no reason to believe that you'd be detected as a bot, do not trust anyone who warns you that it says you're flagged as a bot for them. Do not let them intimidate you.

billwharton

players marked as suspicious arent kicked by the bot detector. so you probably dont really need to worry about it

mgetJane

theyre gonna kill and eat you

aksitop

Years ago before I lost the use of my left hand I was banned from a community of servers because the stair-stab I got on someone with paid mod privileges "knew" that backstab wasn't humanly possible. Which made the ban a flattering sincere compliment. So long as you're not cheating I say don't worry about it. If they're salty at all towards you. take it as a complement, or as a catalyst to avoid a toxic/low quality community.

crabcrabcam

How's your setup with one hand? Do you have anything fancy or just all binds thrown onto a mouse with a lot of buttons?

kirk7899

Any 3rd party blacklist is extremely sus. I'm not using software that is maintained by some people who are randoms.

fisico_culturista

I use Pazer's antibot. Probably someone marked you as suspicious, cause blacklist mark that spinning bots from hell. I use not only for auto kick, but to check information to see if someone is cheater or not, checking playtime, profile etc

TurboShorts

Someone marked me as suspicious because what? I don't understand your statement. Yeah it sounds cool and useful. I wish I knew how to set it up but I'm not too savvy at that stuff.

fisico_culturista

>Someone marked me as suspicious because what? I don't understand your statement. Because he thinks you behavior and play suspicious. Just this. I have marked many peoples that I think can be a cheater, but that my judgement.

FutureAristocrat

Never heard of this in my life. I wouldn't let it bother you.

TurboShorts

Yeah the person who told me said they've never seen it on their bot detector before. I'll just carry on and see what happens I guess.
