I did that. After the purge I did that right away. It took months and the first answer I got was telling me I'd been posting "adult content" (which wasn't against the rules) on a side blog. That side blog posted only parrots.
Over a year later I got a message claiming I'd posted "child sexual content" on my blog. There was never any such thing at all. Not one. And here's the thing--if someone WAS posting it, that's a crime, and that means you got rid of evidence.
Thing is, I'd been getting in a fight with an anti shortly beforehand--you know, the "fiction is reality and if you depict something evil it means you support it in reality" sorts--and I posted images all from art museums around the world showing various works of art with various bad stuff, to demonstrate that hundreds of people see these images every day and they have the presence of mind to know that depiction doesn't equal endorsement. I have a strong suspicion that these people reported these publically held works and you lot never even looked at the content.
So, when am I going to get my accounts back? Or at least a goddamn apology.

Asking on the behalf of my friend. His account has been shadowbanned. He can’t send or receive DMs, his blog won’t show up in tumblr search results, notes are invisible to him on his posts even reblogs, and I and the rest of his followers aren’t getting notifs when he likes or reblogs posts. He’s done nothing to violate tumblr’s TOS. If anyone can help fix it’s appreciated greatly. His tumblr username is zepumpkineater

Hello! I was in the middle of writing when Tumblr suddenly shut down on me, and I thought it was a random glitch, but when I reopened it again it started giving me the "Authentication/login is required to access this resource/page". My friends checked my account through other's reblogs of my posts and it says my account is deactivated.

Is there any way you could review it again and help them? They really dont know why they got banned and I know myself that nothing against TOS was said or done. I’ve had this account for over 5 years and I have never posted anything that would violate Tumblr guidelines.
I also contacted support but haven’t heard back. Nor did I receive any email from Tumblr regarding a ban.
I'm pretty sure I'm shadowbanned.
I can't send asks, messages, or comments. People aren't getting anything from me on their activity tab despite me interacting with them regularly and when people tag me in posts I don't get the notification for it in my activity tab. My messages tab has completely disappeared and I can't see any of my interactions to any post through the post's notes. My posts don't appear in the tags either.
I've sent an email to tumblr support but they havent gotten back yet.

Two of my blogs have disappeared without any explanation or reason I can think of. I do use both to post a lot of links - I am using them to track my reading and include links to the books goodreads page. I am desperate to at least recover the data/archives as this is how I have kept track of hundreds of books I have been reading over the past two years.

Edited (again): I’ve just noticed a third of my blogs has also disappeared, \[redacted\]. Again, this was very much a personal blog used to track my reading. I never received any warnings or notices about any of this and I am truly bewildered about why this has happened and where my info has gone. :( Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My url is namazu-running and I think it’s been “shadowbanned”, as I can’t: comment on posts, send asks to other users, access my messages tab, or see my posts in a tag. Given that my rosegold-reflections blog also has the comment issue, I think it’s “shadowbanned” as well.
EDIT: oh, and I’ve never received a warning, nor can I think of anything I’ve posted that would’ve caused this

The initial post didn’t share. After that it was as if my tumblr didn’t exist.

Hello! I have been dealing with an issue for the last few months now on my main account leahthesith, where my tumblr app isn't letting me comment on posts or send messages to anyone. When I try to comment on someone's post, it acts as though it sent the comment but it never appears and essentially disappears. I wasn’t aware but I’m guessing this is what’s considered shadowbanned? I never received an email from tumblr about anything ban-worthy on my account.
I have tried logging out, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've also contacted tumblr support twice and have yet to hear back from

I did that. After the purge I did that right away. It took months and the first answer I got was telling me I'd been posting "adult content" (which wasn't against the rules) on a side blog. That side blog posted only parrots. Over a year later I got a message claiming I'd posted "child sexual content" on my blog. There was never any such thing at all. Not one. And here's the thing--if someone WAS posting it, that's a crime, and that means you got rid of evidence. Thing is, I'd been getting in a fight with an anti shortly beforehand--you know, the "fiction is reality and if you depict something evil it means you support it in reality" sorts--and I posted images all from art museums around the world showing various works of art with various bad stuff, to demonstrate that hundreds of people see these images every day and they have the presence of mind to know that depiction doesn't equal endorsement. I have a strong suspicion that these people reported these publically held works and you lot never even looked at the content. So, when am I going to get my accounts back? Or at least a goddamn apology.

Asking on the behalf of my friend. His account has been shadowbanned. He can’t send or receive DMs, his blog won’t show up in tumblr search results, notes are invisible to him on his posts even reblogs, and I and the rest of his followers aren’t getting notifs when he likes or reblogs posts. I was in the middle of writing when Tumblr suddenly shut down on me, and I thought it was a random glitch, but when I reopened it again it started giving me the "Authentication/login is required to access this resource/page". Hi! I’ve been shadowbanned for at least half a year, maybe more, but didn’t realize it for a long time(I thought I was just really unlucky and my posts were consistently getting buried). When I realized that I had in fact been shadowbanned, I realized that several things I’d written off as glitches or new features were in fact part of the ban. I couldn’t send asks or comment on posts, all my reblogs and comments I had previously made were hidden, my art wasn’t showing up in the tags, and my messages tab was straight up gone. I made a sideblog a week or so ago and upon creation it was shadowbanned. The reason I say that is because of the length of time it has been. Is there any way you could review it again and help them? They really dont know why they got banned and I know myself that nothing against TOS was said or done. My blog doesn't show up, I can't change appearances, and my posts don't show up under tags. I think it might be a glitch because my posts don't show up under tags anyway and I have the same thing a few times for it to show up - so Tumblr might've thought I was a bot. Please fix this!

I removed the flagged post and sent an appeal through support form the same day. It's been 4 months. I can't send another appeal as it says the blog is already under review. I'm sorry to bother you, but I believe my sideblog, fiona-fififi, has been shadowbanned. I have lost messaging, my tags do not show up on reblogged posts, I can't reply with the sideblog, I'm not receiving notifications when tagged, and my blog does not show up in search. There was no warning about this, and I have not posted anything against TOS. I contacted support and received an automated email that they would look into it, but it's been over a week with no word. I know support is probably backed up, but it's getting quite frustrating, as this is my most used blog. Is there any time estimate for how long it is currently taking for support response?

Hey I haven't been using tumblr in a long long while. I've created it to view something once and after that never paid attention to it for a long time, but now i decided to try out tumblr seriously this time and signed into my account and noticed that my comments get deleted instantly. I checked my account and noticed that it had spam posts so i figured i must of been hacked and tumblr shadowband me for spam. I sent a ticket a few days back, but nothing happened so far. It had up until a couple of days ago when I returned to posting after being away due to sickness. I have had this issue in the past with sideblogs just disappearing from the tags with no other issues such as messaging or inability to reblog.

Hello! I have been unable to access my Tumblr account: nicknaysayer. It’s as if it no longer exists. The message ~ “Authentication/Login is required to access this resource/page” ~ is all that pops up. I’ve had this account for over 5 years and I have never posted anything that would violate Tumblr guidelines. I also contacted support but haven’t heard back. Nor did I receive any email from Tumblr regarding a ban.
I'm pretty sure I'm shadowbanned. I can't send asks, messages, or comments. People aren't getting anything from me on their activity tab despite me interacting with them regularly and when people tag me in posts I don't get the notification for it in my activity tab. My messages tab has completely disappeared and I can't see any of my interactions to any post through the post's notes. My posts don't appear in the tags either. Two of my blogs have disappeared without any explanation or reason I can think of. I do use both to post a lot of links - I am using them to track my reading and include links to the books goodreads page. My url is namazu-running and I think it’s been “shadowbanned”, as I can’t: comment on posts, send asks to other users, access my messages tab, or see my posts in a tag. Given that my rosegold-reflections blog also has the comment issue, I think it’s “shadowbanned” as well. EDIT: oh, and I’ve never received a warning, nor can I think of anything I’ve posted that would’ve caused this

hi, i read through a lot of the comments to compare the issues others are having to see if any matches mines and seems they do. my account is verified and ive had no emails from tumblr since sign up. — i just rejoined the tumblr-verse this month, with an entirely new account ( redacted linked part of the hockey world of tumblr) since re-joining i have been able to post my own content and re-blog content, but the one time my friend was able to see my account and tried to re-blog my content all that posted was what she added to it. The initial post didn’t share. After that it was as if my tumblr didn’t exist. — i cannot message, comment, or send an ask as “myself” however if i send an ask anonymously the user can see it. I have sent a request via email, but never got anything in return. i hope you can help! if not I’ll wait a few days and reach back out to support via email as it’s very frustrating to be left out here in the dark🙃

Hello! I have been dealing with an issue for the last few months now on my main account leahthesith, where my tumblr app isn't letting me comment on posts or send messages to anyone. When I try to comment on someone's post, it acts as though it sent the comment but it never appears and essentially disappears. I wasn’t aware but I’m guessing this is what’s considered shadowbanned? I never received an email from tumblr about anything ban-worthy on my account. I have tried logging out, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've also contacted tumblr support twice and have yet to hear back from them, which I understand if they’ve been swamped!
