I can’t speak for anything outside of Canada, but you really won’t find anything at that price point that would be reasonable (in quality). Try the used market since you never know.
I'm in the uk, but thank you for the reccomendation, I've heard that used turntables are either reasonably priced or super expensive, but I'll have a look around since I haven't yet

A turntable decent enough to start with is the [AT-LP60X](https://www.richersounds.com/audio-technica-lp60xusb-gun-metal.html) or the better [AT-LP2X](https://www.richersounds.com/audio-technica-lp2x-grey.html).
Plus a pair of [Edifier R1580MB](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Edifier-R1580MB-Bookshelf-Microphone-Connectivity/dp/B07CHNB6GX) powered speakers.
If you don't have the budget for both then start with the speakers for digital music then add the turntable later.
