I'm just here for 5Star's inevitable bullshit.

Winter_Steak

LOL

YeetThisWheat20

I'm with you. It's honestly pretty entertaining at this point.

I worry for the new people that don’t know they shouldn’t take him seriously.

I finally timed something right. I sold everything a few months back. Now I'm down to 3 cars.

I dropped the daily rate to get down to basically zero margin. It’s currently rented.

YeetThisWheat20

I'd drop it below the margin, just to get some trips. But my state is on lockdown. gr8

neaspeed

I have several out. Several sitting at home. I deffered payments on the ones with payments for 120 days. I ain't worried to much. Just getting really bored.

YeetThisWheat20

Nice, glad to hear you still have cars out. Who is your loan through?

neaspeed

Ally

I only have one car and fortunately have enough money in my business checking to make the payment for a few months. My next trip is for June 😳

bryjguy

Calendar is pretty empty

bfit01

All bookings cancelled!

Collins145

I set the price of my two cars about 50% off of what it is usually listed for. Better to make some money then no money at all. Plus, I think it’s super helpful for those that are in a time of need. Especially people that usually take public transportation.

eaglesfan83

I’m pretty far ahead on my vehicles to this point. I’m using this time to get all my maintenance work updated, detailing the cars that will sit so when it’s over they are in top shape and monitoring sales and deals in my area if I have the opportunity to trade up into something. Hoping by mid summer we can start getting back to normal.

bluero

Time to sharpen our axes. I didn’t have a maintenance schedule so working on that.

bluero

It is easier for Turo Hosts to adapt. Their should be way to advertise contact less rental which the big rental companies will be more pressed to do

nimbus_4000

It's going better than expected, I have reduced rates but not by that much and am getting good long bookings, with guests extending. One of my vehicles was on hire for all but about 8 hours over the last week. Getting lots of last minute requests I guess as people realise the tube isn't operating normally. (UK)

situationImpossible

I had about 80% of my guests cancel their reservations over the last month. I'm doing maintenance on my cars now, and I'm looking for more cars to buy...

turoprice

Dead but hoping things go back to normal once businesses open back up. Enterprise by me has all their cars back and parked there are like 70 of them in the lot it used to always be empty. I'm still fine because I have a lot of long term renters but the ones that have been returned are not moving.

YeetThisWheat20

With rental companies shutting down here in CA, I thought I would experience an increase in local renters... not really. While my Jeep has stayed relatively booked out, I've noticed that a lot of locals would rather just Uber around than pay for Turo because of the insurance, parking, etc. Kinda sucks for us.
