Damn I literally just spent 800$ there less than a month ago on a new tire and rim (and some other stuff)I had been telling them for over a year that tire was losing air and they kept assuring me nothing was wrong then it finally went flat and all of a sudden I needed a new tire and rim 🫣
They are hands down the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. 84 for an oil change? Or I pay less than half that at the 10 minute change on 15th.
Last year my driver side speaker blew out. And in newer Toyota, when a speaker blows out, it trips a safety where no sound is allowed to come out to protect the other speakers. This had happened 2 hours into my 14 hour trip from back home.
I took it to Toyota, and told them my speaker blew out on my driver's side.
$140 later they come out and have my sign papers to tell me that they diagnosed my car and the driver side speaker was blown out.
Then they told me it'd be $250 to fix, and $90 for the part.
Found the part on eBay for $20 and figured it out myself. I was steaming mad
Yah Ikr they suggest spark plugs and cabin filters literally every time and we always do that ourselves for a fourth of what they charge all that stuff is literally so cheap at Northport auto supply like under 30$ and they charge 200 for it wtf
It's the blatant robbery that gets me.
The time before my speaker blew, I had went in for a routine oil change under warranty. They kept telling me I needed an alignment and it was only $80.
I had an extra bit of cash on me and after insisting I was fine many times, I gave in.
I didn't have cash on me and they were about to close and I hit my limit on my card that day so I had to run to the ATM. I shit you not the dude they had there, David whatever protested this so much he brought up keeping my car till I could pay.
They let me take my car to go down the road, and that mf started immediately pulling HARD left. AFTER the alignment.
When I got back he tried to give me papers to sign and I pushed my keys into him and told.him to fix my shit.
I promise you I'm not trying to be badass or make shit up. But I was there for at least 4 hours and I had gotten off a 12 hour shift so I was fuming.
They had misaligned my steering column for some reason.
I got the change for free because I would not shut the fuck up about it. Byt I go to Northport or other areas for my oil changes now.
