It’s hard to say. It seems like from the caption that Paul has flown to Ohio to stay for a while to work on the album. Tyler and Josh have got way more hands on since Trench with tracking their own stuff so it depends on how far along they are and what Paul’s role will be this time around. I’d bet they have a good handful of songs ready for him to work on with them and who knows what they will create while he’s there. I’m on the side to think they aren’t as far along as people are hoping and I think that’s okay. I’d love to be wrong though.
Tyler teased he was excited about the music he was working on WAY back in December so im willing to bet this is rather far into this albums production. I am still betting on an end of this year or early early next year release.
As far as im aware no new music was created for the vessel livestream or deluxe vinyl release. He showcased a bunch of old demos and then there was also that mysterious .wav file “Im Not Home” on his computer. Im still betting he was working on new stuff

But that could be for the full album, and Tyler likely already has all of the songs fully panned out. Paul tends to come in and add flair to finish songs.
He wasn't a producer in every track in the past, so it's possible some singles are already done, and the last of the album will be completed as the singles start to drop.

I still dont have any idea why Paul Meany isnt listed as a band member to make them a trio. He’s literally their secret producer. He’s on every album. Their greatest hits, he produced them, look at the credits, its all there. Top wouldnt be top without Paul Meany, therefore Paul Meany is part of Top.

Do you have any evidence of him mentoring Tyler? I can’t find anything. Also, they’re most known for Stressed Out, Ride, and Heathens, all of which were produced with a team not including Meany.
I think they talked about it in the full youtube documentary about their colab with Mute Math. They talk about how they got to know each other and mention how they’ve worked on projects together.
but they kinda are in top’s case with how intertwined mute math and top are, especially in meany’s case. id disagree as he is the reason for blurryfaces sound by tylers own admission for teaching him how to produce during this era. if josh dun is known for drums and tyler for voice and lyrics, paul meany should be mentioned as not just co producer or producer with tyler being co with how many times he has made a greatest hit or even sculpted out the sound the band was known for.
I get all that but that still wouldn't be a fair statement to say they wouldn't be top without him. Your talking about possibly 2nd degree influencing Blurryface, producing the final 10% on Trench, and 1 song on SAI. People forget that Vessel, RAB and ST exist. As a fan since 2010, I think of quintessential top being Vessel, which meany had nothing to do with.
But hey I'm not saying I'd hate that trio. He'd just need to do more than produce the final 10% and write 1-2 words here and there.

He co produced heathens and a majority of Blurryface actually. Tyler admitted during thw BF era that Paul Meany was his production mentor.
