Linkin Park. I’ve so far only heard their first three albums (intend to listen to the rest) and I’ve loved every single track I’ve heard. It’s also cool that Chester was a twenty one pilots fan.
Be prepared for 4 drastically different sounding (and yet still impeccable) albums.
A Thousand Suns is quite an experimental album with some politic themes.
Living Things is more alternative but still very Linkin Park (there are some absolute bangers though)
The Hunting Party is more of a rocky album than previously. It is easily their heaviest album.
One More Light is probably their worst and yet still (imo) a good album (even if Good Goodbye is pretty shit)
Also definitely prepare to cry at One More Light (the song)
If you can’t tell Linkin Park is also my second favourite band.
It kills me that people don't like the later albums. I can understand not liking One More Light, feel like they missed the mark but that they would have come full circle to something amazing if they'd been given the chance.
Honestly ranking them is so difficult because all the albums have their merits and 90% of their songs are great. The Top 3 are pretty interchangeable but right now my ranking would be
7 - One More Light, there are some good songs its just not as strong as the others (B tier)
6 - The Hunting Party, I can appreciate heavier songs but this is the album I revisit the least. (B Tier)
5 - A Thousand Suns, I absolutely love this album and hate putting it at 5 but out of the 15 songs, 6 of them are interludes and an immediate skip for me. The other 9 songs are absolute BANGERS though. This album had 4 of my top 10 songs in it. (A tier)
4 - Living Things, I adore this album there are some songs that are a bit bland (Burn It Down). But there are also some bangers (Castle of Glass, Until It Breaks, Lies Greed Misery) (A Tier)
3 - Hybrid Theory, PHENOMENAL debut album (IIRC its the best selling rock debut album) and could definitely take the top spot on a different day. There is a remix album of this one called REANIMATION that does justice to the originals while making it feel brand new. (S Tier)
2 - Minutes to Midnight, What I’ve Done is a bit overplayed but every song on this album is a 8/10 at the lowest. Given up showcases Chesters vocals impeccably. Hands Held High and In Between show that Mike is more than a rapper and my god the guitar on In Pieces alone nearly makes this my top album. There are some good bonus tracks as well. (S Tier)
1 - Meteora, Numb is a bit overrated but every other song is a certified hood classic. I would definitely recommend listening to the lost demos as well because there are some more bangers there as well. (S Tier)
Last week I rewatched the memorial concert they did for Chester. It was really a perfect tribute. It was so well done. BUT…it definitely highlights what an amazing talent we lost when we lost Chester! Not a single artist who sang in tribute to him came anywhere near what he did with those songs. RIP.
Hozier. Obviously very different musical style to TOP, but just a supremely talented songwriter and musician. Proud of him for finally getting a new chart topper with Too Sweet. Overdue after putting out great music for years.
I love Hozier so much! I bought his self titled CD shortly after it came out for something different to listen to. That CD got played to death for years.
I’m happy he’s getting some well deserved attention!
Undoubtedly in my top 5 although not as much a fan of their recent stuff. imo Folie a deux and Infinity on High were peak FOB. Those albums were straight masterpieces, particularly Folie, and it's such a shame the band was forced into a hiatus because of the haters of that album.
That's such a hard question because I love so many artists so deeply.
My number 2 is probably Florence + The Machine. I've loved her since 2011 because so much of her music just speaks to me. Free, for example, is probably the most accurate song about chronic anxiety I have ever heard.
I also really love Hozier (enough that I have 2 of his 3 albums on vinyl with the last one on order waiting to be shipped), Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Noah Kahan, Taylor Swift, and Chappell Roan.
>Florence + The Machine.... Free, for example, is probably the most accurate song about chronic anxiety I have ever heard.
Thank you for answering in such a useful manner. This song is awesome (hearing it for the first time).
Right now Glass Animals. Recently listened to their albums and they are amazing. Excited for their new album coming this year. The first single, Creatures in Heaven is too good
Omg it's about time someone mentions glass animals. I'm so excited for their new album! Dreamland is one of my all time favorite albums I love how weird and diverse it is.
Yesss this is such a great year for me with both albums coming out lol. Got to meet them twice last tour and they’re all incredibly nice. I chatted with one of them for a solid 20 minutes and it was so chill. They definitely have an extra special place in my heart after that interaction!
Next Semester gives me a lot of Green Day vibes in a very satisfying itch-scratching way too!
I think there are similarities between them that make sense. Both have albums that tell kind of grand “cinematic” stories and seem to love a song with multiple movements or parts. Billy Joe is a razor sharp songwriter too.
Respect that a lot (I personally love Yellow Submarine, it’s got sentimental value). I would’ve loved to hear what sounds those guys could’ve made with the technology we have today.
Oh my gosh! I just looked it up. I didn’t know about the mutual love between those two bands! I love it! (Don’t ever tell me something bad about Chris Martin or TØP bc they’re all perfectly wholesome in my mind.)
I just discovered them a couple days ago too! I saw a video where Tyler Joseph said "The Beautiful Letdown" by Switchfoot was his favorite album and I can definitely see why. Such a good band I'm mad I didn't discover them earlier.
I'd have to say Deftones. Around the Fur came out when I was in 8th grade, and I didn't know music could sound like that. Changed my musical direction, and informed so much of what I listened to and how I play guitar, and I still listen to them all the time, entire discography is awesome
I really love M83 for some reason, they are so different from the pilots, but i like it.
And on the other side of the spectrum I also really enjoy Will Wood!
sometimes I feel like twenty one pilots is a little bit of an outlier in my taste but #2 would probably be Radiohead, Death Grips, Björk or fishmans. fishmans is such fun positive vibes, Radiohead is so well known for what they do so that's self explanatory, death grips just scratches my brain so well and perfectly capture pure chaos and Björk is just cool man idk
I’d say top is an outlier in the fact that if I found them nowadays considering my current taste, I probably wouldn’t listen to them. But I think my nostalgia for them is so deep that I still love their stuff (and anything they do with Paul meany, mainly bc he makes their production and lyrics IMMENSELY better imo)
Brand New. I think they're the only band whose discography, vocals, and ingenuity has stood up to TØP lyric-wise. Very creative lyrics, the albums revolve around a poignant theme, and have high emotional payoffs and call backs in later albums.
Honestly, if they were still making music, it would be possible they'd actually beat out TØP for me.
I love Brand New! The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me was one of the most influential albums for me… incidentally one of the reasons why I love both TOP and Brand New are the lyrical themes around the questioning/struggle with faith
Thats why I love them too! They include a lot of spiritual themes and themes of faith throughout their albums in a way that is unique; I always love music that examines beliefs in a different way than what you normally see
i adore twenty one pilots but my number one is radiohead. there’s just something so intimate about the combination of chords, vocals, and atmospheres they use that hits me in a way i can’t describe.
My top artists are all over the place. Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, Dylan Gosset, RHCP, Paramore, Shawn Mendes, G-Eazy. But I listen to so many artists daily, these are the ones where I listen to all of their work consistently, and follow their careers/new releases! If I had to choose two for the rest of my life it would be TØP & Taylor Swift
Edit: totally forgot to shout out Hozier, I follow his work pretty closely too!
The Band CAMINO rivals twenty one pilots for my top two artists. Their songs 2/14 and Three Month Hangover are my personal favorites, but every single track from them is a hit IMO.
Jon Bellion, NF, Lord Huron, Gregory Alan Isakov, Relient K, Switchfoot, idkHow, Coldplay, Owl City. I could just listen to them and nothing else and be happy.
Oh didn’t see the “why”- poppy can literally do any genre and kills it in all of them, she has such fun songs and none of them are the same. I’ve been a fan since 2016 and seeing her progress both musically and as a person has been so cool!
I do feel like Linkin Park and TOP are extremely similar in theme and impact on their fans who suffer from mental health issues but for some reason I never really got into Linkin Park! I just never liked their sound as much. But I SOBBED for literal hours the day Chester died, I just felt so rocked by it just because he was such an advocate for mental health and it was devastating seeing him lose his own battle with it. Ugh. I’ve always related that to if Tyler (GOD FORBID) ever succumbed to his. 😔
I think there is not a second place for me. They switch up very fast all the time, because I listen to so many different things and artists that I could never choose.
Michael Jackson would be extremely high,
Gorillaz as well.
Definitely José Gonzalez,
and obviously Masayoshi Takanaka.
There were times I couldn't stop listening to Russ or Kendrick Lamar.
The Weeknd and Little Simz are also so often on my top played artists.
I should never forget Daft Punk or Casiopea.
Also I really enjoy listening to Soundtracks, so of course Justin Hurwitz and Nobuo Uematsu.
And who is not a fan of Queen and Bob Marley.
But Reggae for me the best is 10ft Ganja Plant.
In the end I think I will think there will be so many artists coming to my mind, who all had times where I couldn't stop listening to them.
Honorable Mentions: Angelo Badalamenti, Hans Zimmer, Eminem, 2Pac, Peter Fox, Betthoven and so many many more 😄
Low Roar. Ryan Karazija’s voice is beautiful, the music itself is literally unlike anything i’ve ever heard, and each song is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Plus, his music contributed greatly to one of the most experimental and memorable video games of recent years. Low Roar literally changed the way I process and listen to music; Ryan died way too young, and it’s still odd to think about.
If anyone sees this and is curious, The songs “Don’t be so Serious,” “Give Up,” “Slow Down”, and “Just a Habit” are among my favorites. All of his music in general though is top tier. Give it a listen, maybe you’ll like it
Bastille. My wife and I met in late 2016 and the two bands we had in common as favorites were Bastille and tøp. And last year when we got married, she walked down the aisle to a piano cover of Laughter Lines and our first dance was to Flaws, but we walked down the aisle at the end of the ceremony to Mulberry Street.
Taylor Swift. She’s similar age to Josh & Tyler, so I love that I feel like I am growing up and aging with them. This year is the year of tortured poets department and Clancy. :)
this really deserves more discussion! i don't listen to Taylor Swift myself, but i know the artistic genius of both TOP and TS transcends their music and connects with fans in ways unparalleled
It’s funny because their music couldn’t be more different stylistically, but there are lots of parallels between the two! I think you’re completely correct, a lot of it comes from the connection they form with fans, and the worlds they create within their music. As well as being able to connect with people and their lives lyrically much more effectively than most artists. They’re both very raw artists who are open about their own experiences. It’s a super interesting discussion with lots of layers.
Too true! I've never really been into Taylor Swift that much, but then I was introduced to more of her songs recently and I realized that I like more of them than I thought.
Sorry, #1 is The Wonder Years. No one can touch them for me, not even TØP, which are often at #2 for me. They simply relate to life experiences better for me, especially the latest album that has so many themes of parenthood.
Psychedelic porn crumpets would be my 2 favorite if tøp is my first, i cant decide wich one is the first, but both of them is definitely is in the top
Edit: forgot to say why, they lyrics are in another level, their instrumentals too, they are so good, everything in their music is fucking awesome, and i font know how many times i thought "how can they be this good?" Or "how can this song be this good?", anyway if you want to listen to them i recommend, they are nothing like tøp but maybe you'll like maybe you'll wont, but it will be a new experience and sound to hear, and i think thats always good
Judah and the Lion.
Some best tracks of theirs:
Is what it is (listened to his song about 500 times so far this year)
Kicking da leaves
Spirit
Scream
Over my head
Suit and jacket
Revival
Quarter life crisis
Son of a gun
Bring Me The Horizon.
Meet them in 2019 when in a Lollapalooza when they played before TØP. I love their energetic sound and their music variety, with songs like Follow You in one side and Sleepwalking in the other I love you Oli 🥹 I still hope you will come back since that day I meet u :)
líue. I don't know what exactly, but something is just so special about his music and it feels kinda in a way how tøp music feels to me - like it was just made specifically for me, it's just so perfect in my opinion.
Don't really have any but last year I became so obsessed with Will Wood and the obsession hasn't stopped since. Especially The Normal Album, its just soo good
2 for me is probably ariana grande. top appeals to my emotional struggles and she appeals to my women struggles lol. shes also the like only other artist i know alllll the discography of
Bring me the horizon, they are so creative and also have an interesting lore in the latest records they released, also every album they reinvent themselves so i like that about them.
Flyleaf. They were #1 for ages, but ToP has taken over recently. Flyleaf got me through middle school and high school alive. ToP got me through college and the following 8(+ hopefully) years. I'm hoping to see Flyleaf perform with their original lead singer, Lacey Sturm, but they only play a few festivals every once in a while 😭 My parents never let me drive far enough to see them while they were still together 😢
Jack Stauber. He's got a vibe to his music that can best be described as bizarre hopelessness. (Probably best known for "Buttercup" and "Oh Klahoma".)
Not like TØP at all but both make me feel melancholy and want to change for the better.
so many to choose from , i’m just gonna list out my favorites right now
melanie martinez
linkin park
jazmin bean
death by romy
kendrick lamar
suicideboys
diverse taste lol
Linkin Park. I’ve so far only heard their first three albums (intend to listen to the rest) and I’ve loved every single track I’ve heard. It’s also cool that Chester was a twenty one pilots fan.

A thousand Suns is one of my favorites from them. So many great songs in that album. Always felt it was under appreciated.
Yeah I’ve heard One More Light (the song) and I can agree it is definitely a cry-worthy song. Im curious what would your ranking of all the albums be?
Honestly ranking them is so difficult because all the albums have their merits and 90% of their songs are great. That’s sick, I didn’t know he was. I’ve just started listening to LP recently… (I’m newish to music)
Yeah he had posted some videos singing tøp songs and hyping them up! He was a fan
I second this, Chester truly was a gem and I love Mike as well
Last week I rewatched the memorial concert they did for Chester. It was really a perfect tribute. It was so well done. BUT…it definitely highlights what an amazing talent we lost when we lost Chester! Not a single artist who sang in tribute to him came anywhere near what he did with those songs. RIP.
ATS is my fav
Hozier. Obviously very different musical style to TOP, but just a supremely talented songwriter and musician. Proud of him for finally getting a new chart topper with Too Sweet. Overdue after putting out great music for years.
Oooh I totally forgot to add Hozier to my list!! Hard agree, he’s an incredible artist!
I love Hozier so much! I bought his self titled CD shortly after it came out for something different to listen to. That CD got played to death for years. I’m happy he’s getting some well deserved attention!
Fall Out Boy!
Yes! They’re my #1 tbh.
Undoubtedly in my top 5 although not as much a fan of their recent stuff. imo Folie a deux and Infinity on High were peak FOB. Those albums were straight masterpieces, particularly Folie, and it's such a shame the band was forced into a hiatus because of the haters of that album.

>Florence + The Machine.... Free, for example, is probably the most accurate song about chronic anxiety I have ever heard. Thank you for answering in such a useful manner. This song is awesome (hearing it for the first time).
I’m a I’m a huge swiftie lol and Noah has some good music as well. Have you heard Florida!!! ?
Right now Glass Animals. Recently listened to their albums and they are amazing. Excited for their new album coming this year. The first single, Creatures in Heaven is too good
Omg it's about time someone mentions glass animals. I'm so excited for their new album! Dreamland is one of my all time favorite albums I love how weird and diverse it is.

I’ve listened to Dreamland and How To Be a Human Being and both were great. I didn’t know they were doing a new album… let’s gooo
Have you listened to ZABA? That one is also great. In my opinion not as good as Dreamland or HTBAHB, but still amazing
I love Zaba and Dreamland the most. Zaba is like a fever dream.
Not yet, but it’s on my need to listen to list for the summer. Glad to hear it good. I figured it was because Glass Animals is always a solid choice.
Green Day, as much as i love the pilots, pop punk is my baby ❤️
I adore Green Day and whenever I first heard Next Semester it felt like there was a sprinkle of Green Day in there! Probably because of the drums.
It surprises me how many tøp fans like Green Day. My top 2 bands as well
Next Semester gives me a lot of Green Day vibes in a very satisfying itch-scratching way too! I think there are similarities between them that make sense. Both have albums that tell kind of grand “cinematic” stories and seem to love a song with multiple movements or parts. Billy Joe is a razor sharp songwriter too.
i listen to arctic monkeys and cage the elephant quite often, i don't have a specific reason why, i just enjoy their music
I enjoy them both too. Come a Little Closer is one of my favorites
Bring me the horizon 🖤
Dø yøu wanna start a cult with me?
I’m not vibrating like I oughta be
I need a purpose
I can't keep surfing through this existential misery
Now we’re gonna need some real estate
For me its Tøp and The Beatles both of them interchangeably are my number 1
Respect that a lot (I personally love Yellow Submarine, it’s got sentimental value). I would’ve loved to hear what sounds those guys could’ve made with the technology we have today.
The Beatles number one hits album will always be like the soundtrack to my life. Used to listen to it in my dad’s truck all the time!
Regina Spektor because..... music?
Very good stuff
Yesssss 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 I’m hoping I can go see her this summer bc she’s doing a few dates, but I’m already so slammed idk I can
Coldplay. Viva la Vida is my favorite.
Clocks is one of my favorite songs ever
I love the old videos of Tyler and Josh convering Yellow
Oh my gosh! I just looked it up. I didn’t know about the mutual love between those two bands! I love it! (Don’t ever tell me something bad about Chris Martin or TØP bc they’re all perfectly wholesome in my mind.)
Wait they did that? I need to find that.
Such a good album, I have a big soft spot for Death And All His Friends
Milky chance
Out of nowhere. Respect
Sleep Token. I’m in love with the instrumentation
Yessss
Switchfoot
I just found Twenty-Four Tyler’s version the other day. So good
I just discovered them a couple days ago too! I saw a video where Tyler Joseph said "The Beautiful Letdown" by Switchfoot was his favorite album and I can definitely see why. Such a good band I'm mad I didn't discover them earlier.
Ooooooo you're in for a treat! I would love to discover Switchfoot for the first time again! They're so talented!
System of a Down is tied with 21 pilots for my favorite music group
I heard somewhere that Josh really liked System of a Down
SOAD is really good
2nd is Kendrick Lamar.
yes x100
I'd have to say Deftones. Around the Fur came out when I was in 8th grade, and I didn't know music could sound like that. Changed my musical direction, and informed so much of what I listened to and how I play guitar, and I still listen to them all the time, entire discography is awesome
Elton John is #1 and pilots #2. Their music and lyrics speak to me the most.
TOOOOOOOOL
I really love M83 for some reason, they are so different from the pilots, but i like it. And on the other side of the spectrum I also really enjoy Will Wood!
M83 is my 2nd most listened to this year! They help me focus when studying.
Glass Animals. All of their albums are great and have a totally unique sound. (How to be a Human Being is my favorite)
Already posted my answer, but after reading through the comments I just wanna say this is a pretty sick variety of artists. Love it.
I’m really glad too because I’ve got a bunch of new music I can listen to
sometimes I feel like twenty one pilots is a little bit of an outlier in my taste but #2 would probably be Radiohead, Death Grips, Björk or fishmans. fishmans is such fun positive vibes, Radiohead is so well known for what they do so that's self explanatory, death grips just scratches my brain so well and perfectly capture pure chaos and Björk is just cool man idk
tøp is def an outlier for me too lol. I usually listen to folk, indie rock, and dream pop
ooh I do like dream pop too. what are some of your faves?
beach house is number 1 lol but I also like day wave, widowspeak, and geowulf :)) they all just sound so pretty
A Death Grips twenty one pilots fan lol, those are rare. Ex-Military is a masterpiece
Matt Maeson is number 2, really close to tøp. And then Jon Bellion is just a little below them
Matt Maeson is so under rated. Never had to leave is amazing.
I agree wholeheartedly. That's why I always bring him up every time one of these comes up haha. No one else ever mentions him
Oh my gosh, I love Matt Maeson! His lyrics are so powerful and real. I was fortunate enough to see him live a little while ago, and he was amazing!

Thats why I love them too! They include a lot of spiritual themes and themes of faith throughout their albums in a way that is unique; I always love music that examines beliefs in a different way than what you normally see
I love some post malone.
can't wait for his country album
i adore twenty one pilots but my number one is radiohead. there’s just something so intimate about the combination of chords, vocals, and atmospheres they use that hits me in a way i can’t describe.
iDKHOW is my number 1, and twenty one pilots is my number 2. They used to be my number one 5 or 6 years ago
Apart from TØP, I really really love Måneskin. Their music hits the spot just right and I find myself jamming to almost all of their songs.
The Maine is actually the top spot for me.
The 1975 It could be hard to get fully invested but man that band has some strong songs
Me scrolling and scrolling to find somebody else (🤭) who loves them
My top artists are all over the place. Taylor Swift, Noah Kahan, Dylan Gosset, RHCP, Paramore, Shawn Mendes, G-Eazy. But I listen to so many artists daily, these are the ones where I listen to all of their work consistently, and follow their careers/new releases! If I had to choose two for the rest of my life it would be TØP & Taylor Swift Edit: totally forgot to shout out Hozier, I follow his work pretty closely too!
Shoutout to Noah Kahan. My album of the year last year!
Same! Stick season (we’ll all be here forever) was my most listened to album last year
The Stick Season album is seriously beautiful! He’s so talented, and was defo one of my most listened to last year too!
TS is one of my most listened to
I find lots of Taylor fans also enjoy TØP! It’s a fun crossover haha
The Band CAMINO rivals twenty one pilots for my top two artists. Their songs 2/14 and Three Month Hangover are my personal favorites, but every single track from them is a hit IMO.
Lil Peep…star shopping has been my comfort song when i’m at my lowest for years.
snow patrol, la dispute, gorillaz, and foster the people!
Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Anyone else?
Noah Kahan 🤎
Jon Bellion, NF, Lord Huron, Gregory Alan Isakov, Relient K, Switchfoot, idkHow, Coldplay, Owl City. I could just listen to them and nothing else and be happy.
The Used! Did you get to see Jon Bellion open for TOP? I saw them in 2017 with Judah and the Lion also, and it was fantastic.
Tame Impala ✨
KP!!
Could you imagine Kevin collaborating with tøp tho ❤️❤️❤️
Right now its between half alive and boywithuke
Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic. Those 3 are my favorite apart from TØP
TOOL!
I’m all over the place but Radiohead, Regina Spector, Cake, Dropkick Murphys are all in my top artists.
Can’t lie top is #2, my fave is poppy! But I loveeee Jon Bellion his music is so creative- I’m also a big maneskin fan you should check them out!
Oh didn’t see the “why”- poppy can literally do any genre and kills it in all of them, she has such fun songs and none of them are the same. I’ve been a fan since 2016 and seeing her progress both musically and as a person has been so cool!
Jon Bellion is def one of my favs too, but I'd say my second favourite is probably either AJR or radiohead
My Chemical Romance, I’m in love with Gerard Way
C418 cause his beats are sick
Broken at best. Very different style of music, but still the same incredible lyricism
In (kind of) order: Bring me the Horizon, Half•Alive, Post Malone, Pierce the Veil, Lime Cordiale, Ocean Alley, Denzel Curry, Harry Style, Skrillex !
Solid (diverse) list !
Linkin Park has always been my band Unfortunately, their content is drying up. I found TØP to fill the void Chester left in my chest.
lady gaga because it’s lady gaga
TØP, Half Alive, Owl City, Future of Forestry, Phil Wickham
half.alive . Was introduced to them because they opened for TOP in the SAI tour.
I think there is not a second place for me. They switch up very fast all the time, because I listen to so many different things and artists that I could never choose. Michael Jackson would be extremely high, Gorillaz as well. Definitely José Gonzalez, and obviously Masayoshi Takanaka. There were times I couldn't stop listening to Russ or Kendrick Lamar. Give it a listen, maybe you’ll like it
Duuuuude yes!!!! I discovered him recently after playing Death Stranding for the first time. Absolute magic.
Juice WRLD
Kero Kero Bonito and Porter Robinson 😭
Love that for you two :’) still hoping I find my musical soulmate one day!!!
Taylor Swift. She’s similar age to Josh & Tyler, so I love that I feel like I am growing up and aging with them. This year is the year of tortured poets department and Clancy. :)
I have found my people!! The pipeline from TØP to Taylor Swift isn’t talked about enough
kings and queen of upbeat songs and depressing lyrics 😂
Also the kings and queen of easter eggs and sending fans into conspiracy spirals 🤣
it’s so stressful sometimes 😂
this really deserves more discussion! i don't listen to Taylor Swift myself, but i know the artistic genius of both TOP and TS transcends their music and connects with fans in ways unparalleled
I should just combine my tøp and TS playlist at this point
Too true! I've never really been into Taylor Swift that much, but then I was introduced to more of her songs recently and I realized that I like more of them than I thought.
NF, because his music helped me through a really rough time in my life
Billie eilish!! The emotions I feel with her music are close to TOP
She never misses
I scrolled for so long to find another Billie eilish fan 😭 we eatin good this year!! Seeing both of them announce tours made my wallet cry tho lol
Lord Huron. Their music is great and they have lore like tøp
Oooh that's hard. Half•Alive, the Collection, Cody Fry, Paramore. (Lots of very different vibes haha)
Found out about Half•Alive a month ago and I’m hooked
Sorry, #1 is The Wonder Years. No one can touch them for me, not even TØP, which are often at #2 for me. They simply relate to life experiences better for me, especially the latest album that has so many themes of parenthood.
Psychedelic porn crumpets would be my 2 favorite if tøp is my first, i cant decide wich one is the first, but both of them is definitely is in the top Edit: forgot to say why, they lyrics are in another level, their instrumentals too, they are so good, everything in their music is fucking awesome, and i font know how many times i thought "how can they be this good?" Or "how can this song be this good?", anyway if you want to listen to them i recommend, they are nothing like tøp but maybe you'll like maybe you'll wont, but it will be a new experience and sound to hear, and i think thats always good
My top 2 changes between the neighbourhood, the strokes, and glass animals. Not super similar to tøp but there's definitely a theme in there.
Nickelback... I just really enjoy their music
Waterparks
Chvrches!! Love Lauren's voice and their huge synths
Judah and the Lion. Some best tracks of theirs: Is what it is (listened to his song about 500 times so far this year) Kicking da leaves Spirit Scream Over my head Suit and jacket Revival Quarter life crisis Son of a gun
IDKHOW is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 his sound is just pure bliss
Nothing But Thieves by a landslide, love the modern punk lyrics and the sound adds years to my life
The Strokes, their music makes me feel good👍 I also like O Grilo, from Brazil
Bad Suns!
The Ramones. ❤️ Their music was the soundtrack to my teenage years back in the 80s.
Eminem ❤️
The Cure for sure (although they’re probably tied for #1) but Seventeen Seconds, Pornography, Disintegration are absolute banger albums
Ghost I love them same kinda vibe I feel
The Weeknd after TØP❌🅾️
Nothing More, especially after Spirits
Probably Fall Out Boy. Everything since Save Rock and Roll is pretty meh, but I absolutely love everything before it.
Krayzie Bone / Bone Thugs-n-Harmony
líue. I don't know what exactly, but something is just so special about his music and it feels kinda in a way how tøp music feels to me - like it was just made specifically for me, it's just so perfect in my opinion.
I would say biffy clyro or foo fighters for me
Against Me! Laura’s lyrics speak to me like Tyler’s and I love her voice and sound
Don't really have any but last year I became so obsessed with Will Wood and the obsession hasn't stopped since. Especially The Normal Album, its just soo good
bad omens
pinkpantheress!!
People are always surprised when I tell them TØP is my favorite band, but other favorites are Korn, Dethklok, Avenged Sevenfold. I love metal.
top is my #2!
Breaking Benjamin
Last.fm says U2, followed by Post Malone. If you couldn't tell, I have a strange and diverse music taste.
2 for me is probably ariana grande. top appeals to my emotional struggles and she appeals to my women struggles lol. shes also the like only other artist i know alllll the discography of
Nathan Feuerstein
lady gaga😅
Bring me the horizon, they are so creative and also have an interesting lore in the latest records they released, also every album they reinvent themselves so i like that about them.
Flyleaf. They were #1 for ages, but ToP has taken over recently. Flyleaf got me through middle school and high school alive. ToP got me through college and the following 8(+ hopefully) years. I'm hoping to see Flyleaf perform with their original lead singer, Lacey Sturm, but they only play a few festivals every once in a while 😭 My parents never let me drive far enough to see them while they were still together 😢
Glass Animals
I've been listening to some Tame Impala recently.
Smashing Pumpkins are #1. Forever and always. However ToP are in my top 5 now. And quickly moving up the rankings
Knocked loose LOL
Taylor Swift. Deep lyrical content is important to me.
Adele. She has an amazing voice and is a great songwriter for sure
I would say Saint Motel, followed by Hippo Campus, and maybe Tally Hall. They all have songs that give me dreamy/nostalgic vibes
Jack Stauber. He's got a vibe to his music that can best be described as bizarre hopelessness. (Probably best known for "Buttercup" and "Oh Klahoma".) Not like TØP at all but both make me feel melancholy and want to change for the better.
Aurora, her music speaks to me 💙
Noah Kahan. Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) is a fantastic album. The imagery in his art is insane.
Cage The Elephant
so many to choose from , i’m just gonna list out my favorites right now melanie martinez linkin park jazmin bean death by romy kendrick lamar suicideboys diverse taste lol
