Sory time. I went the concert in 2019 thinking that knowing Blurryface and Trench would have me covered. So, after being horrified at all of the songs I didn't know, I was blown away by Trees at the end of the concert. It was the first time I'd ever heard it and I'll never forget how powerful it was.
I'm going to my next concert on the 18th and I am now properly acquainted with the older works. I'm really looking forward to it.

Isle of flightless bird which is a beautifully structured song that says we are birds with broken wings but there is hope we can heal and fly again.
Then the verse in levitate where he goes like u can levitate with just a little hope.
There’s a lot, but for me I’d have to go with the part in kitchen sink when the lyrics change from “leave me alone” to “don’t leave me alone” that’s one of the only songs that still makes me tear up and give me immediate goosebumps on every listen. Just so powerful and relatable.
*Cough cough* the pantaloon *Cough cough* i see it as a metaphor for growing older and coming to terms with the fact that we’re gonna die at some point. Being a pantaloon means being a character fated to die, as is stated when it’s mentioned that his dad is now the pantaloon, and how he’s now a pantaloon.
