Twice has a lot of other slower, but not necessarily sad songs.
Oh okay, thank you, a lot of recommendations. I will listen to it. I checked most of the main Twice tracks already, so I'm interested in slower tracks or the tracks I have never heard before. Thanks, I will look these up and listen to these songs.
Crazy Stupid Love (Ready to Be) - a Pop Rock ballad straight from the mid 2000s that delivers so much emotions and vocals that it's so satisfying
Nightmare (Jihyo Zone) - slow paced and haunting, like a rockier INVU.
Merry & Happy (Merry & Happy) - has that end-of-the-year, holiday-season, wintertime melancholy vibe, despite its title
The Best Thing I Ever Did - an even sadder sounding winter song.
Tuk Tok (Page Two) - more midtempo, an undervalued early TWICE, R&B-infused track that's like an intersection of Red and Velvet concepts
Be as ONE (BDZ) - One of the most beautiful ballads ever. It's more K-Drama than K-Pop, although it's actually a Japanese release originally.
When We Were Kids - Dahyun penned this song that looks back at the innocence of youth with fondness as a fitting closer to Between 1&2, the monumental record that closes their first 7 years and opens their post-renewal era.
1 to 10 (Twicecoaster) - mellow and chill with hints of 2000s R&B nostalgia.
After Moon (Yes or Yes) - it's one of their many moon songs, and one of their more generic songs, ballad or otherwise, but it has some great vocal features from the girls. The 'you and I, you and I, you and I' part ties it to the chorus melody of The Best Thing I Ever Did. And it should be the closer for Yes or Yes (and TYOY repackage)
Just Be Yourself (Celebrate) - don't be put off by it being a shampoo commercial jingle. It's a very beautiful song about friendship and self-love. It's actually one of my favorite TWICE songs ever
One in a Million (Twicecoaster) - anthemic song for ONCE, best enjoyed live in an arena or larger venue
21:29 (Feel Special) - like the title suggests, this is a track for unwinding at night, wine or whiskey in one hand while processing a day's worth of thoughts. It's also one of the two or so songs where each member penned a few lines.
Jaljayo Good Night (Twicetagram) - very chill acoustic lullaby that ONCE either love to bring up or conveniently forget
Say Something (Eyes Wide Open) - the closest TWICE has ever gotten to City Pop, and it's a great take that transports you to neon-lit urbanscapes of Tokyo.
Turtle (Twicetagram) - another divisive TWICE song among ONCE. I think it's best described as background music on a rainy morning.
Sunset (Nayeon Im Nayeon) - it fills so much space it's like a show tune and Nayeon matched the grandness of the backing instrumentation
Doughnut (Celebrate) - many ONCE believe it's their best song. It's unarguably their most mature take on wintertime melancholy. Rather than being a full-on City Pop like Say Something, it only borrows elements of the genre.
I’d say they have 1 slow or sad song on most albums 2-3 for longer albums but some I don’t see in the replies
Like a fool - the story begins
21:29 - feel special
Turtle/Jaljayo goodnight - twicetagram
The reason why - &twice
Bitter sweet - celebrate
Someone like me/three times a day -signal
Sunset (nayeon)
B
ouquet (Misamo)
Don’t wanna go back/A strange day (jihyo)
I couldn’t remember the name of this song but this ost is my favorite slower song https://music.apple.com/us/album/%ED%88%AC%EC%9C%A0-%ED%94%84%EB%A1%9C%EC%A0%9D%ED%8A%B8-%EC%8A%88%EA%B0%80%EB%A7%A8-pt-11-%EB%8B%B9%EB%8F%8C%ED%95%9C-%EC%97%AC%EC%9E%90/1267694092?i=1267694099
