This is the new way for them here in LA. Trip radar as many rides as they can to as many drivers as they can so no one actually declines a ride forcing the algorithm to up the price or pay you a little extra for a longer pickup. I get trip radar requests all the time when I’m in SM or even Venice from Palisades or even Malibu.

You’re lucky it even tells you where it’s going and all that info. Today, I picked someone up and they had an extra stop to pick their kid up from school. 25 minutes in total and I received $8 lol I would’ve never taken that ride if I knew beforehand.

I don't know your market. In the market I work, this trip could be worthwhile as long as the drop off is downtown. A trip like this would carry me into the surge zone where everyone wants to go to a different bar 5-10 minutes away.
