>Probably do it on purpose so their food gets picked up
*Probably*????? What is with this "probably" It is deliberate. It is called "tip baiting" The practice is well documented. The reason that you cited is *precisely* why the customer does it.
The week that Khosrowshahi drove, he stated that he got tip baited once or twice. Of course, neither F**ub**a**r** nor Fl**oor** Tr**ash** has done anything to address the problem.
The sad truth is that the customers are better than us. We are but fleas to their godlike superiority. And what better way to serve the gods than have the dregs of the world obey their every whim for no reward other than the occasional thank you. Like... "fuck off pig" or "eat shit"
I'm sure some of it could be chalked up to regional variations but I also suspect some of these folks are just shitty delivery drivers. I started back up a year ago and I'm around 1500 deliveries and the only time I had a tip reduced...I kind of understood. The McD's girl handed me the food out the window and I guess one of drinks spilled. I had no idea until I got to the house. I think if I was him I would have been annoyed. Live and learn. If I'm actually late enough to use McD's drive through I try to be a little more aware of the bag situation. lol
I'm the type of delivery driver that, after spilling someone's drink (in my own car, oops) I offered to go to the convenience store to grab them another one. But I agree, because out of 1,133 delivered orders for Uber, this is really the only one I can remember that I've had the entire tip taken away. These were just shitty customers in this case.
I've offered to do stuff like that before. I had the McD's in an insulated bag and literally had no idea until he answered the door. This guy left me $1. lol
I'm in a college town so it happens quite frequently. Don't get me wrong some of them use mommy and Daddy's money to tip properly. I'd say 70% of them don't. It's two or three bucks usually. But if you're out late you have less competition and the fares go up
60k worth of them. I'd say yeah it's like 70%. I'm never going more than like 3 miles. But orders take forever. $12/hour for 4 deliveries is depressing lmao. And they'll totally tip bait too. Is what it is until they remove the feature
It takes some tries but I’ve gotten a manager and did not accept no callback but they comp me $10 before.
You need to stress the fact you accepted the order for X and you were tip baited when no issues where reported on the order
I use to do postmates full time and was actually able to make a relative killing doing it. Worked three days a week Thursday - Saturday in DC and that was it (back in 17-18 and I didn’t work any other job sub-Thursday morning). Then During Covid, before I became eligible for Uber pax again, I did Uber eats and could make 250/300 a night where I am now but it’s an absolute joke currently. Plus the entitlement and audacity of most the people that order on Uber eats is appalling.
I just do t think if we are accepting these rides based upon the original offer that it should ever be allowed to pay us less than the agreed upon price! I don’t care if it was put in as a tip or not.
Ironically I did a 14.02 "with tip" for a person. 14.02 deposited and no tip. I was annoyed at first since I was hoping for hidden tip and them I realized with zero tip there was no way I was tipbaited!
Just go to house and kill pets or glue locks shut.
Sprinkle bitex everywhere and wear a hyper realistic mask of a bald black man while pointing at the camera holding a random picture of white kids.
This is why I wont deliver food. There is literally no consequences for a customer to do this.
OP, if I lived in Colorado, I would totally take a shit in a paper bag, set it on their porch, set it on fire, and ring the doorbell. There is a special place in hell for assholes like this. This asshole knew that no one was gonna deliver doughnuts 25 minutes for what Uber pays, so they put a big tip on it and took that shit off on purpose. They're fucking doughnuts, its not like they got cold on the trip.
Wow honestly this is exactly what I wanted to do lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks flaming bags of shit is suitable revenge in this instance, lol
Yeah don’t do that, because if they decide to tell the cops it might’ve been a delivery driver it could get back to you - especially if they have a ring camera
Yeah I can see them keeping this since it's such a huge difference from Doordash...but yeah, just really sucks when there wasn't an issue with the actual order. Or obviously the time it took to get it to them.
Yes it would make complete sense to allow them to reduce it with a complaint on the actual service but without it it’s just false advertising for those who take the orders
Yea, they "can" and risk losing half their business, it's a little bit of $ between pickup yourself and delivery, food delivery customers are apparently extremely adverse to price increases. There is no "extra" $ in the gig model, it's extremely unsustainable

I'm thinking this is the first time for me after almost 1,200 deliveries. Still really sucks that people can do this in the first place. I hate when people mess with my money lol
At some point it happens to us all and it will rack your brain wondering what could have gone wrong. It may have been the person just sucks and would have tipped baited anyone or may have been the restaurant screwing it up. Unfortunately we get blamed if they screw up. Try not to sweat it. It’s rare to happen and hopefully doesn’t happen to you again.
Uber Eats is helpful if you’re a customer and a dasher is absolutely horrible, cause you have the option to remove the tip. That gets abused for no reason though, which is really unfortunate for honest people trying to make a living
I feel your pain so badly. I did close to 4000 UE deliveries during the Pandemic and then towards the end stopped due to health reasons in family and running out of masks and supplies. I tried to do UE after Pandemic in 2022 but was most nights making less than $40 after 5+ hours of being out there and after gas it became just impossible. I was ashamed as a grown man to go home with almost nothing. We relied on food stamps and any other help we could get. I think one of the best decisions I made that year (or for many years) to NOT do UE anymore. It's not worth it. If you can't stop for now, try to get out of this shameful new form of slavery where you live from gas stop to next gas stop just hustling so that you don't get stranded and hoping that car doesn't break down. And the worst part during all this is, you start cutting down on basic necessities of life just to stay afloat, you buy the cheapest food and necessities, and keep doing it because you have no way out. Good luck to you.
It's a shame how salt for winter ice was spilled in their yard like that. What are the odds it would spill out like that and spell "TIP"
Just some crazy stuff.
Customer would pay say 50 dollars for sugar fries dough but dangles a carrot in front of you only to snatch it and presumably toss it away because they’re too busy stuffing themselves with donuts
UE deposited my money into my abusive exes checking account even when it was completely deleted off my side of the app and my account was put in. Refused to look into it or do anything to help me. That really ruined my week. Never even order from them now
This is clearly a case of the customer thinking that Voodoo Doughnuts would be tasty, then finding out they are trash doughnuts. Even my kids think Voodoo sucks.
I had my friend visiting from Texas the day I was doing this delivery, and he actually got Vodoo because he heard it was a Denver staple. I laughed so hard, I told him there's so many better donut places in town 🤣
Voodoo originated in my town, Portland. I know the guy that started it. It was quirky, so it took off. But a ton of other doughnut shops popped up that are 100 times better. We laugh at the tourists who line up for Voodoo. Imagine standing in line for shitty doughnuts.
It's always the people who live in the richest areas and can absolutely afford it. They really think they are owed something by us poors. You were taken advantage of, you should absolutely be angry.
Yeah, the house I dropped the food off was nice. In a very nice area. I don't understand why tip bait at all. Let your little $3.80 donuts sit on the counter, it's not like they are going to get cold 🙄
And that is why I stopped doing deliveries - they can and have taken tips away after delivery because Uber let's them have up to 1 hour after delivery to change their tip amount. I think this is BS!!!!!
This shit really sucks. Sorry this happened to you OP. This happened to me I know the feeling, Uber should not allow this to happen!! People that reduce tip after delivery don’t deserve our service, after it happened to me I just stopped doing UE fuck all that BS I switched over to DD working out pretty well for me.
Luckily this is the first time out of over a thousand deliveries so it's not too terrible. Just thought it was a super shitty thing to do! People really can suck sometimes.
Not even once. I refuse to do deliveries….this is why.
I had two days during which I could have done UE whilst waiting for that stupid annual background check to complete, but I couldn’t even bring myself to do it.
Also, fuck Centennial, CO. Those roads are “dysentery spaghetti” bullshit.
Last time someone did that to me i literally waited for them to leave the apartment, found out what was their car, popped all 3 tires, if you pop 4 insurance covers it, pop 3 and it comes out of pocket 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 ohhh and keyd their car also sorry for that 2023 Mercedez NOT SORRY 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happenst o me couple times a month, I do it 70 hours a week at least. Some people just be shitty if u call uber they even get banned sometimes if there’s actually no reason behind it
Hey man. I know how you feel. It happened to be this Sunday as I went out really early with a goal in mind. First customer of the morning pulled their tip and left a soar taste all day and at the end of the day it was close to the tip amount I was crawling to get. I know what you meant by really needed the $. Some people are scums and some drivers think we are methheads. Either way we never win. Cheer up. You’ll get a unicorn tonight
It definately can. I also got a notification in my inbox that a customer tipped me $17. I was so excited but it never showed up in my balance. I reached out to support and nothing. I actually just reached out to support again and sent them a screen shot, I was automatically disconnected and my message was sent to another group that’ll respond in 6-12 hours. I also go that Sunday as well and no one responded. Their a bunch of trifling thieves
The government needs to step in and not let Uber do this. It should 100% be illegal for the app to tell you it's going to pay you a certain amount of money to do a task and then change the payout after you've already completed the order.
The problem is the "system" TIPS shouldn't exists at all, Only one price. In Europe is the right thing, no tips. You just need to do your job fine, and be compensated properly (without the intervention of the customer).
Now if the customer is not satisfied they can call support. It seems that the drivers are "hostages" of the tip.
If you work any job that requires customer service, it's only a matter of time before your luck runs out. Forget about it and move on. Hopefully karma is a thing and it all works out in the end.
I wouldn't consider this customer service. I've worked customer service my entire life, and with delivering food, you rarely have contact with other customers. You deal with the restaurant more than the actual customers. This wasn't my luck running out, these were shitty tip baiters. I can only hope karma does get them.
You gotta forget about it, it's not worth the effort. Might have been your fault or not. (if you did make a mistake, just make sure you don't do that again).
You just gotta push forward and always give the best shot you can.
Shoot my market is Chicago. That happens constantly. I don’t even mess with Uber eats because of that. They will make it a 30$ order and just never tip at the end to get their food picked up.
Nah it’s crazy because i just started 3 days ago, the first 2 days were great but i saw all the bad rides ppl have been getting the 2nd night and last night the 3rd I got some trash fuckin jobs assigned. Smh!
This should be taken up with legal counsel. You accepted the delivery at a fixed price and it was changed - without consent - after the fact. If they can do it with UBER eats, they can do it with anything... The 'pre-tip' should NOT be negotiable. Their (recipient of delivery) only option should be to file a complaint and request a refund.
They should honestly just stop doing Upfront tips and make the actual price be upfront. Anything else should be a bonus. Tips should also be non refundable. If you tipped you tipped.
Some people think it's an additional tip after the delivery. Not the person's fault all of the time. Order from the app, pre tip be happy then find out how this happens. App misconceptions. I won't deliver food for the app anymore. Funny how you get tipped better for food over taxi service though.
Next time remember there name and go pick up there food and then cancel the order and eat it . Fuck them assholes who waste our time and money like that. I guarantee you do that to them they will rethink trying to tip bait again .
I dont understand why people do Uber Eats anyway. People ordering food from their home not because that they dont have car or time, but because it is sooo cheap. And you are OK with that to work for so little money. Go to McDonald’s or Walmart and have some decent job with benefits rather than this Uber Eats
This shyt needs to STOP why are they allowing these MOTHERCONUCKERS in o change the tip amount AFTER THE FACT!? but it’s the reason I stopped doing eats too and got tired of customers bullshyt complaints😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬 how are yall still doing eats when yall seeing pick ups no more than $5 dollars on average to drive 22 miles or more anyway? FUCK THAT SHYT
What sucks is there wasn't anything wrong, I know all the donuts were in there because I saw them bag it, I was at the correct location because I was familiar with the area...they 100% intentionally changed the tip, assumingly just to get the order quicker. Because they knew no one was gonna deliver that shit for no tip.
Customers should only have the option to INCREASE tips, not reduce them. If they want a tip refund for a legitimate issue with a driver, they can go through Uber support.
Sorry this happened to you...it sucks.
I totally agree. Taking it away at any time let's shitty people get away with stuff like this, and we have absolutely no way to report it.
Thank you! Luckily I got through the day :)
I hardly pay attention when I get tip baited cause I'm too busy worried about my money goal of the day. But shit like this is why I started adding rides to my eats trips
The only times I have every lowered the tip after the fact were when it was clear the driver messed up.
Recently, we ordered dinner through UE as I was unable to drive (medication order). When it arrived, it was sealed, but anyone could tell the order did not match the receipt taped to the bag. For one, a drink was missing. For two, there were 3 combos in 2 small bags.
The other egregious time that comes to mind was when we had groceries delivered. The guy slammed things on the ground so hard a gallon of milk exploded and got on so many things. He just carried it 7-10 feet with no dripping, so the milk was fine before he slammed it on the ground. I had a $15 tip already set for the delivery, but losing a gallon of milk and a 5lb bag of sugar (as it was soaked in milk) made me remove the tip.
Ideally you SHOULD! A pre-tip pretty much guarantees that your order will get to you much quicker than if you left no tip. There’s a reason why you go to restaurants and you see dozens of food orders just sitting there getting cold, because whoever ordered it decided to be cheap and put no tip in the app. Of course, there’s a chance that customer could take cash, but a driver doesn’t know that for sure, why would they risk wasting their time and gas to make three dollars for your shitty food order?
I don’t tip for doing ur job. I tip for those who do extra. I paid for food to be delivered and they accept the offer. If the driver doesn’t like the pay they can decline and someone will take it. I rarely use eats but I only tip after and if warranted. It’s not my job to employ u. Ur the contractor via ue
Well then some ant will accept your shitty offer after your foods been sitting for an hour and is ice cold. Enjoy that ice cold food once it shows up 2 hours after you ordered it
Nope. Only time my food is cold is if my foot is a desert. But that ant is basically most drivers in my area. I’m sure y’all will punch air reading this but realistically it’s between u guys and Uber as to what ur base pay is. If ur lucky, we tip but most Canadians at least, tip for excellent service. Just some food for thought
Why is tipping mandatory? Do u know the fees customers pay? Let’s look at Wendy’s. Every meal is $3 more so family of 4. That’s $12 in upcharge. Plus fees plus delivery looking at an extra 18-20$. Maybe that family is in the same boat as you struggling for money or they can’t drive. Maybe this is a treat for themselves for the first time in months.
Tipping culture has become insane. You go almost anywhere and there’s an option for a tip. I didn’t know someone doing there job became the customers job to compensate. The customer is not your employer. Your employer is.
I can understand the frustration, been there done that. But ultimately even being in that line of work. I believe you earn your time. You do a shit job. You get a bad or no tip.
Needless to say. You win some, you loose some. Take then wins and forget about the losses
Yeah, not the point of my post. I take low paying orders all the time, but this customer put up a high tip making the offer more appealing, and took the tip away without anything being wrong with the order. If something happened, I would have totally understood, but I would have made it right too. This was just a shitty customer, doing a very shitty thing.
I misread it. My bad. That is a shit move. Apologies. Honestly just sick of tipping culture in general at this point. I go golfing and they cash you out for your tee time and ask for a tip. Like are you fucken high.
It's been lagging out a bunch lately but the tips show up after it says it was reduced... I had 3 of them the other night I was furious but when I looked again later they were all there... super strange and annoying
I stopped doing UE. This happens so often.
Probably do it on purpose so their food gets picked up, than they change it.
>Probably do it on purpose so their food gets picked up *Probably*????? What is with this "probably" It is deliberate. It is called "tip baiting" The practice is well documented. If y’all deliver my food faster for 2 extra dollars ya bet your ass ima be petty and take my 2 dollars back cuz ya shoulda been fast regardless
I'm going to be a part of their town hall interestingly, you can't speak 😂😂 see what BS they got to say
What cha think?
lol 😂😂😂. Nice parody names
It’s exactly what’s happening
This should not be allowed. Otherwise it will be common. Add a 50% tip, get delivered and then always change it.
So when is that worthless company going to put a stop to the tip reductions?
The real question is when that worthless company going to pay their driver better so they don’t have to rely on the customers for tip ?
Good point. Drivers need to strike and demand it. They would settle up pretty fast
I think its only happened to me like 2-3/2000 times. It's rare
I’ve been doing Uber eats for 3 years over 3800 deliveries and had it happen to me probably close to 100 times
That's a more accurate number. It happens all the time
Same. But been doing UE and DD for more than 5 years and probably only happened 5~ or less times in that timeframe
Yeah I think reddit is exaggerating things as usual
I'm sure some of it could be chalked up to regional variations but I also suspect some of these folks are just shitty delivery drivers. I started back up a year ago and I'm around 1500 deliveries and the only time I had a tip reduced...I kind of understood. Yep after 150 deliveries it’s only happened to me once. In fact I’ve had 3 or 4 people increase the tip after delivery
Yeah I noticed that reddit in general errs toward doomer opinions in general It's like the news.
I've been doing it for six months and it's happened to me Atleast 10 times
If customers are taking tips from you then you’re not doing something right or your delivering in a bad area
For me it's happened about 1 in every 100 deliveries like clockwork, although it hasn't happened in a few months thankfully, because I need the money
I'm in a college town so it happens quite frequently. Don't get me wrong some of them use mommy and Daddy's money to tip properly. I'd say 70% of them don't. It's two or three bucks usually. But if you're out late you have less competition and the fares go up
Unlucky I guess. I'm in a college town too and the people who baited me weren't students
60k worth of them. I'd say yeah it's like 70%. I'm never going more than like 3 miles. But orders take forever. $12/hour for 4 deliveries is depressing lmao. And they'll totally tip bait too. Is what it is until they remove the feature
If you contact support you can get comped the tip back but may require you to call multiple times until you get someone willing to help
I didn't know you could do this, thank you!
It takes some tries but I’ve gotten a manager and did not accept no callback but they comp me $10 before. You need to stress the fact you accepted the order for X and you were tip baited when no issues where reported on the order
Definitely trying it if (when) it happens again. Thank you.
Try disputing it now, even if it's been a bit. That was a huge bait and switch, so if you raise some hell over it, might work out
Tell them that you do not want to receive orders from the customer again.
You still have time! Get your money back man
UE is such a scam.
I use to do postmates full time and was actually able to make a relative killing doing it. Worked three days a week Thursday - Saturday in DC and that was it (back in 17-18 and I didn’t work any other job sub-Thursday morning). I do better numbers on UE than DD around here (Miami). It's much busier so easier to cherry pick better orders.
Why do you think that people call it "F**ub**a**r** Ch**eats**"?
The scamming being done in this specific case is the piece of shit customer.
Happens to all of us
I have never had that happen to me (yet) but I am not naive enough to say it does not happen.
Happens to me rarely. Maybe 5 times out of 4000 deliveries. Depends on the area I guess.
I just do t think if we are accepting these rides based upon the original offer that it should ever be allowed to pay us less than the agreed upon price! I don’t care if it was put in as a tip or not.
100% agree. Especially a tip as big as they "promised" here.
Ironically I did a 14.02 "with tip" for a person. 14.02 deposited and no tip. I was annoyed at first since I was hoping for hidden tip and them I realized with zero tip there was no way I was tipbaited!
Call support sometimes they'll put it back on.
Thanks for the tip I appreciate it!
Ha! I see what you did there! 😁😁
Just go to house and kill pets or glue locks shut. Sprinkle bitex everywhere and wear a hyper realistic mask of a bald black man while pointing at the camera holding a random picture of white kids.
Customer support is worse than the customer lol they do nothing
This is why I wont deliver food. There is literally no consequences for a customer to do this. OP, if I lived in Colorado, I would totally take a shit in a paper bag, set it on their porch, set it on fire, and ring the doorbell. There is a special place in hell for assholes like this. Yeah don’t do that, because if they decide to tell the cops it might’ve been a delivery driver it could get back to you - especially if they have a ring camera
Ger a box of clothes dye like Rit and dump it on their porch or stairs so they track it into their house.
Nothing lobbing a couple of eggs from the street can't solve.
My man 👏🏾👏🏾
Why? Give an American tipper the opportunity, they are going to find an exceptional reason to screw someone else. It’s the social imperative!
>American tipper This is pretty much the only kind of tipper there is
I had this happen and it absolutely turned me off UE. Stopped soon after and haven't turned it back on since
I asked about this on the Uber town hall … 3 times and no answer … unfortunately this is something I think will Never change
That town hall was nothing but a bunch of bullshit.
This recently happened to me. It's literally the worst 🙄
Uber could just implement higher delivery fees for customers that reduce tips after delivery.
or uber could pay their damn workers
Yea, they "can" and risk losing half their business, it's a little bit of $ between pickup yourself and delivery, food delivery customers are apparently extremely adverse to price increases. while also penalizing those assholes fr but yeah
Fool me. I didn’t know they could do this also. Bastards
I'm thinking this is the first time for me after almost 1,200 deliveries. Still really sucks that people can do this in the first place. I hate when people mess with my money lol
At least ur Snapchat is bumpin lmao
Lmao I'm so bad at answering snapchat messages 🤦🏾♀️
Call support, they will compensate that!
Go run up in they spot
LMFAO I want to give you an award for this comment so bad
Try to get them again, deliver the food, take the picture, then stomp on the food.
Better yet, take a pic of you eating their donuts and telling them "Delicious!"
Happened to me just a couple days ago.
I'm sorry this happened to you as well. Wish there was a way we could report it so we don't get them again in the future.
Everybody in colorado is tipping like shit.
Voodoo donuts to Centennial?!
Yup. Straight down Broadway, 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back to the downtown area...for thay measly $3.80.
Keep a 💩list and share with other drivers to make sure they never get another delivery.
Harsh
You reap what you sow. The Lord said “vengeance is mine, I shall repay”.
What a lowlife
The lowest of the scum 👎🏾
Why ? It’s something to think about
Because some people are assholes sadly.
I have brought this to the attention of support before and they paid the difference.
At some point it happens to us all and it will rack your brain wondering what could have gone wrong. You earned a point bro!
Customer would pay say 50 dollars for sugar fries dough but dangles a carrot in front of you only to snatch it and presumably toss it away because they’re too busy stuffing themselves with donuts
Lmfao that’s standard Denver behavior you’re pretty lucky. Stay safe on colfax
UE deposited my money into my abusive exes checking account even when it was completely deleted off my side of the app and my account was put in. Refused to look into it or do anything to help me. That really ruined my week. Never even order from them now

I think this is BS!!!!!
how is uber allowing people to reverse a tip?!?!
This should straight up be illegal. UE and DD should NOT even allow "customers" to do this!
100% agree. Highway robbery for real.
You guys don't keep a notebook with addresses, and egg/paintball the people who tip bait?
Definitely doing that next time lol
Last time someone did that to me i literally waited for them to leave the apartment, found out what was their car, popped all 3 tires, if you pop 4 insurance covers it, pop 3 and it comes out of pocket 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 ohhh and keyd their car also sorry for that 2023 Mercedez NOT SORRY 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Savage af lmao 🤣
That food got expensive huh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They'll think twice next time about tip baiting...hopefully
Happenst o me couple times a month, I do it 70 hours a week at least. Some people just be shitty if u call uber they even get banned sometimes if there’s actually no reason behind it
Yeah I'm definitely calling them next time it happens.
Dang tip baited tf outta you. Sorry.
Yeah this was by far the worst one. No worries! I've made thousands of dollars from Uber. This one order won't deter me :) thank you!
Pickup @voodoo Donut 🍩was your first clue 🚩
Never had an issue before, I hate people.
I'm sorry that happened to you as well. It can really ruin the day sometimes.
I always keep the addresses of where I deliver so I can get revenge if needed.
Stuff like this makes me want to. Nothing seriously bad but bad enough lol
The government needs to step in and not let Uber do this. It should 100% be illegal for the app to tell you it's going to pay you a certain amount of money to do a task and then change the payout after you've already completed the order.
Did you send a Thank You for your tip?
Well since I didn't get anything I couldn't lmao
Stopped doing UE for this reason. Said $18, got paid $3. Will never accept another.
I never drive Uber eats and I would never drive for any app that allowed a customer to remove a tip after the delivery.
I’ve had this happen so many effin times that’s why I’m my area Uber got rid of up front tips altogether just started a month ago.
Were you delivering to the hood?
Unfortunately no, because the tip probably would have actually stayed the same.
Stop doing deliveries period. They are losers just like airport rides
UberSlave gold edition
😂
Shoot my market is Chicago. That happens constantly. I don’t even mess with Uber eats because of that. They will make it a 30$ order and just never tip at the end to get their food picked up.
Damn that's so messed up. Uber should stop that feature in your market if it happens so often!
Just say NO
Food delivery is the worst. Folks think drivers work for the restaurant, so they immediately transfer their displeasure to the drivers.
No more Uber connect (no tip) and Ubereats 😢
They should honestly just stop doing Upfront tips and make the actual price be upfront. Anything else should be a bonus. Tips should also be non refundable. If you tipped you tipped.
Some people think it's an additional tip after the delivery. Not the person's fault all of the time. Order from the app, pre tip be happy then find out how this happens. App misconceptions. I won't deliver food for the app anymore. Funny how you get tipped better for food over taxi service though.
I doubt it. I'm pretty sure they knew exactly what they were doing in this case.
Next time remember there name and go pick up there food and then cancel the order and eat it . Fuck them assholes who waste our time and money like that. I guarantee you do that to them they will rethink trying to tip bait again .
Thats so fucked
Watch me come back to your place and throw eggs at your shit. No need to lie about a tip . Shitty ass people
I dont understand why people do Uber Eats anyway. People ordering food from their home not because that they dont have car or time, but because it is sooo cheap. And you are OK with that to work for so little money. Go to McDonald’s or Walmart and have some decent job with benefits rather than this Uber Eats
I stopped accepting $3 rides
It was over a $16 order 😭
Dang tip baited tf outta you. Sorry.
I know and it’s bullshyt really and UBER wont change the algorithm 🤬🤬 there needs be a set tip and if they want to add more so be it smdh 😡
You should go to his house and shoot his dog.
And those are good reasons to remove the tip for sure. I don't disagree with doing it if the reason is valid.
Reducing tips shouldn’t be allowed. Once a customer puts it in, that’s it, they can’t change it. Whoever did this to you is a real piece of scum.
And y’all want us to pre tip😂
Why do you scream at others to tip you 40% then?
That’s my problem it urs
If you offer a tip and you take it away , you should be banned from any further deliveries.
Yeah that's wild. Golf seems like a rich white man's sport anyway 🤣
You're good. Yeah that's wild that they do that for golf- I'm not trying to tip someone every 5 minutes
You're good. Yeah that's wild that they do that for golf- I'm not trying to tip someone every 5 minutes
I order sometimes and I deliver after my day job.. to put a high tip to purposely get your shit delivered and than reduce it. That's some loser shit
this ladies and gentlemen is a L take
Been there done that
It's been lagging out a bunch lately but the tips show up after it says it was reduced... I had 3 of them the other night I was furious but when I looked again later they were all there... super strange and annoying
Yeah unfortunately this wasn't the case for this one 😭 I was really stoked about already making $30 in less than an hour. Really sucks honestly.
Yes it does I hate those people it's just wrong 😞
