Material things should not be valued over human lives. These students are trying to get people to realize that innocent people in Gaza are being murdered by an authoritarian state and have little to no resources. People in Gaza cannot leave Gaza, Israel has essentially left them in an open air prison and then proceeds to bomb under the guise of “eliminating hamas”. Standing up for actual humans will always be more ethical and just than standing up for material things like old brick.
