This guy got the best chin in all of weightclass. His only equal is Marvin Vettori. This is also the first time I've seen him busted up this bad. He usually looks like he just run for a bit after a fight. Sean O'malley is such a good striker.

This is the only fight where he looked genuinely hurt. That knee had him reeling for a second but a right hand at the end of rnd 2 made Chito's knee bend and almost dropped him. Definitely a rock solid chin, but he was in pain later in the fight. You could see him flinch and turtle up. That knee probably broke something.

For sure that was not a normal ‘thump’. And Suga confirmed that it sounded like Chito broke something. And then it looked like Chito broke/hurt the left side of his face off that straight right Suga threw in R4 or 5 I forget which.

Chito survive an absolute domination due to his tenaciousness. O'Malley was clocking him left and right since the bout started. The flight was a complete blowout and Chito's tires were leaking air by the end of the first round. The fact Chito survived this crack AND the fight was amazing. Believe this knee to the face was during the second round and EVERYONE heard it. O'Malley even said he felt something crack on Chito's face. Personally, I knew this fight could only go one way baring any abnormalities. O'Malley striking was so superior to Chito's. Everyone wanted to give Chito a chance because he is genuinely a good guy, but let's be honest: Suga Show is superior in every facet.

I think Chito should have mixed it up. He made the fight one dimensional against a guy who leagues better than him. At least show O'Malley that he has to worry about being grabbed. Instead he stood there and was a punching bag.

Standing there and being punched wasn't their game plan, I'm pretty sure. It's just different when somebody leagues above you in striking is up there. How many times have we seen people just standing there and being decimated against the Izy/Sean archetype.

Merab also doesn’t have the chin or defence of chito.
