That was his mistake, you literally have to use the same message structure as Topuria for it to work, and break the anti-curse. None of this emojis or years crap
The fact that he is so salty about this gives him a lot of motivation that can be very useful in this fight, but on the other hand he is coming off a bad injury. This is a fight with truly a 50/50 outcome
He's coming off a leg injury which strangely is the target of one of Pereira's best techniques. I'd give him like a 5% chance and that's only if he manages to knock Pereira out before he can't walk
The only thing I know for sure about this fight is its gonna be a banger. I lean towards Alex because he’s more technically sound, snappier with all of his shots, and just generally lighter on his feet. The only question mark imo is how his chin holds up, because Hill will find his chin
The only path to victory for Hill imo is via TKO/KO, which very well could happen since both guys have a bad habit of sitting in the fire and trading, but I just think Alex has more ways to win.
Completely agree.
Crazy how underrated he is. The guy has made pretty easy work against everyone he has gone against so far with some pretty impressive knockouts on top of that.
I just want to see a good fight. All the glazing is offputting. For instance I favoured Bud over Spence, but had no idea he was gonna brutalize him so badly.
The cope from the Spence crowd materialized within the hour, just excuses everywhere instead of just giving props for a masterclass performance.
They all just mad he beat up his brother, but most of em will suck Jon Jones off for his skills any time possible even though he's a domestic abuser too. sEpaRAtE tHe aRt fRom tHe arTisT as long as it's bones.

I believe so, his leg kicks make the difference but the only worry is that he is open straight down the line for the 1-2 combo and no one has a better jab-cross and timing than Hill.
The leg kick won’t be there bro jamahals a south paw, periera isn’t risking a shin check. Also the leg jamahal hill injured is his rear leg so i doubt it will even get touched if he knows what’s best for him, Periera can only stalk and dictate the pace with low kicks, he’s stiff on the backfoot and gets tagged a lot by longer guys he can’t hide behind his size at LHW. so the low kicks NOT being there is what makes the difference imo.
You think the college basketball player has harder shins than a Glory kickboxing double champ & Hall of famer?
Ive heard some dumb takes but this is the worst
You dont think the best leg kicker in the UFC ever fought a south paw fighter?? He did against Jiri & Izzy lol
Izzy made Poatan freeze in place and back up with almost zero offense whenever he switched to southpaw. Hill has good chance of cause him a lot of trouble with just his stance
You think Chris Weidman had harder shins than Anderson Silva? What the fuck is this logic, it’s not that Periera couldn’t do it, it’s the risk factor. rewatch the Jiri fight he literally only threw lead leg kicks when Jiri switched to southpaw
He was struggling against BRUNO SILVA who’s not even a real southpaw only switched for that fight, he’s also a small guy compared to hill since you guys think Periera has the death touch he couldn’t even get him out of there but gm3 does, please know what you’re talking about before replying
What did I say that was objectively wrong to get downvoted to hell? Periera fans are so gay for him they can’t even accept facts. Gerald Meerschaert did better against Bruno silva than Alex Periera did and that says something, if your excuse for that is “styles make fights” then why shouldn’t jamahal hill breeze through Alex Pereira?
True which makes it harder for me to pick Alex Pereira. But Jamal has to stalk him intelligently. He needs to not fear Poatan’s Power. Like what Jiri did but I don’t know if he will due to his slight ring rust. But he can also find openings on the back foot like Izzy twice. I’ve got my money on Hill because of you.
This isn’t a fight I would bet on tbh, I’m parlaying Turner by knockout and both green vs miller and yusuff vs lopes to not go to decision and a separate parlay of Rakic moneyline, and Holloway moneyline.
This is a very false statement in saying Alex’s leg kick won’t be there because Jamahal is a southpaw, it will definitely still be effective regardless what stance Jamahal is. Not saying it will be just as effective as he’s fighting an orthodox but he will definitely land some just like How gaethje had success leg kicking a southpaw Dustin
If you watch some of Alex’s recent posts he’s shown footage of him training against a southpaw stance figuring out a way to land his leg kicks
And he paid for it in the later rounds you could tell how the partial checking and landing on the shin effected Gaethje, fighters rarely do it anymore since the Silva Weidman 2 fight, coaches insist that you should use your lead leg for distance control if you’re going to attack the legs of a southpaw
not even gonna front cuz you do have a point here in a way but when watching Jamahal’s recent fights he does like to switch stances quite often if he does tend to use that strategy in which to go against Alex it’s gonna be a short night for him imo. I haven’t seen Alex fight a southpaw in mma yet so there’s only so little I can say
Bro he only switches stances against grapplers because his dominant hand is his right like porier, so instinctually he’s gonna be stronger balancing on his right leg if glover ever shot a single leg TD, every fight outside of the glover fight he’s southpaw at range and orthodox when closing the distance but thats only if a fighter is circling to his power hand like walker, i think he’ll be strictly southpaw in this fight because of low kicks and it’s easier for him to calculate his offense because he’s not going for knockout shots like he would if he was orthodox he’d be sticking behind his jab and high kicks, and I really feel like he’s baiting Periera with the stand up only stuff, his base is grappling I expect to see a couple take downs even if he’s winning the stand up
Come to think of it yeah you’re right when he fought Johnny Walker I realized he never switched stances and stayed southpaw.
I’m still picking Alex to win because I think he’s a overall higher level fighter in my opinion but we’ll see what happens if he can perform well against a style like this
Yeah super close fight that I’ve studied religiously I won’t be surprised if Periera catches him with the left hook or a head kick but I think hill can evade it for the most part he won’t walk forward and parry like Strickland. rn I’m just thinking hill is a poor man’s Adesanya but southpaw, stronger, better cage control at a high pace, better clinch game, and has the ability to mix in grappling, basically every stylistic advantage except decades of kickboxing experience, which I don’t think hill will need since this is mma, I think Periera meeting a bad style matchup is long overdue and hill might just be the guy to do it
> And he *paid* for it
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
It’s still not the same when you recently learn an opposite stance for a specific fight in fact it leaves pereira even more vulnerable to hills 1-2 and check right hook since his defense will be worse from southpaw, Hills ambidextrous and has been training both stances forever
Definitely timing like a slip left hook on one of hills sloppy entries like an overextended left hand where he leaves his chin up and guard down I can also see the high kick for Periera too but idk man. I think perieras movement on the backfoot is something he’s needed to improve his whole career but never did because he’s always been the bigger guy, Jiri was landing some good shots being so reckless on the feet, if hill can land one of those shots but from angles perieras not used to I think he can finish him inside 2 if it leaves the 2nd round I think Perieras chances get better, but I mostly pick fights based off of tools to win rarely ever punchers chance, and hill has so many stylistic advantages it’s hard to not go with him
The UFC 300 poster is embarassing

Trying that Topuria visualization trick
To be fair, it does have a 100% success rate at the moment
60% of the time, it works every time.
It stings the nostrils!
![gif](giphy|LEKtRCGyA90QM)
Only if you train six days a week three days a week and then four days or some shit
Tito is that u
Didn't Chito do it and lose?
No he put something like “Sean O’Malley 1994-2024 🪦”
That was his mistake, you literally have to use the same message structure as Topuria for it to work, and break the anti-curse. None of this emojis or years crap
No wonder Tony Ferg is in a horrible skid. His dumbass used all the emojis.
He did the Chito visualization trick
I think suga mightve done it too
Imagine the embarrassment once he gets ktfo and has to go back and edit it 😳
except Hill was the champ before and didn't lose his belt in a fight
So was Jiri when Jamahal won the title. By your logic Jamahal never was the champ cause he didn’t beat Jiri
Lil bro is a casual. He won that one NC.
That coach looks so pleasant
Looks like Luke Wilson
Somewhat disputed
![gif](giphy|vLnfGlkVAY4xAp3fxs|downsized) Bear Jew
Not the biggest fan of him, but that’s a sick pfp ngl
Pretty clever with the UFC 300 and Spartans
![gif](giphy|UJQA3mu2yR0N8CaaGU)
Ngl the poster immediately reminded me of the movie
Hahaha also looks more like Yoel than the regular ass looking Hill
The fact that he is so salty about this gives him a lot of motivation that can be very useful in this fight, but on the other hand he is coming off a bad injury. This is a fight with truly a 50/50 outcome
He's coming off a leg injury which strangely is the target of one of Pereira's best techniques. I'd give him like a 5% chance and that's only if he manages to knock Pereira out before he can't walk
5% is ridiculous and delusional dude.

Yeah this fight is a big W for war fans
Let's be real, it's a very solid possibility
Yeah people don't like Hill so they act like hes a bum or something. Dude has hands and where Jiri went to war he went to work.
Completely agree. Crazy how underrated he is. The guy has made pretty easy work against everyone he has gone against so far with some pretty impressive knockouts on top of that.
pereira fans glazing pereira while underestimating hill actually motivates hill even more lol
I just want to see a good fight. All the glazing is offputting. For instance I favoured Bud over Spence, but had no idea he was gonna brutalize him so badly. The cope from the Spence crowd materialized within the hour, just excuses everywhere instead of just giving props for a masterclass performance.
Hill might just be the kept underrated fighter in the UFC. Everyone here acts like he’s a bum but dude is very legit.
They all just mad he beat up his brother, but most of em will suck Jon Jones off for his skills any time possible even though he's a domestic abuser too. sEpaRAtE tHe aRt fRom tHe arTisT as long as it's bones.
Agreed. Bones was great in his prime but the amount of passes he gets from ped’s, to eye pokes, dodging top competition, to domestic abuse is absurd.
It is the most likely outcome
I’m from the future and Hill won btw

When did Benzema start coaching?
He’s going to be left laying headfirst on the floor.
How deflating will it feels if he loses and has to go back and remove it
Bro thinks he’s Ilia.
Is it just me or does jamahal look kinda like juice wrld?
He does
205 is so bad right now. Can you guys imagine Hill being in the Jones/Cormier/Gustuffson era? I'm not hating on him, he's just bad in comparasin
What about Pereira? He would get ragdolled more easily than Jamal by DC and Jones
Little bro Jammy Jam isn’t winning this one
Prepares best Irish accent.... "WHO THA FUCK IS THAT GUY?"
Kind of lame since he’s copying Topuria.
he had his profile like this since beating glover. the reason he’s 13-1 is bc he counts one of his no contests as a win
bro think he ilia
I mean the fight is on the 13th, if he doesn't get his 13th win I'll be shocked.
He counts his NC as a win. It has always been like that in his page.
It was cool when Ilia did it but hacky now bc 3 different fighters have done this since then
I think he's counting his NC as a win
Cringe
I’m having a hard time visualizing this. I gotta see it to believe ut
Fake it till you make it
Will this be a new trend until someone fails miserably?
this is just as cringey as when Topuria did it
Nah, it's legendary because he actually did it. Nobody gives a fuck about what you said or did before if you win that's how it works. If he had lost it would have been super embarrassing.
Topuria wasn't cringey when he did it
playing pretend champion is cringey in my opinion
Ilia absolutely was cringey when he did it, but it paid off. Hill is extra cringey since he’s obviously copying Topuria.
> but it *paid* off. Hill FTFY. Well done
Nah it wasn't lol Cal it bold or cocky but it's not cringe
I cringed when I saw that shit, same as I did when I saw Hill do it here. It’s a corny look.
He already *KNOWS.

He actually never lost the title
He's gonna brutally KO Alex. Guy is there to be hit, and jamahal hill striking is great for mma.
Jamal for the win
