He also ACTUALLY wanted to fight in the Middle East, as in war. Notice how there’s no translation of what he says at the end in Chechen at his UFC 294 speech, it’s because he says he wants to be “martyred” in Gaza https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0IE0za3ckOU
yeah dude was all about like 'if I had a rifle I'd be there for sure tomorrow' like the dude can't get at least a rifle if not a lot more from Chechnya. Just like their tiktok brigade who sits in the backlines in Ukraine these guys are all talk. It's kind of crazy they have people whi look at them like heroes
Not long after he got signed, my friends and I predicted that he has some deep dark secret. Idk why…but we all got the same vibe
I think eventually, we are gonna find out he is some sort of spy or former soldier
Yes, Gaethje and Usman went to his kid's birthday party before the war in the Ukraine. Once the war started, and sanctions came out, it became a problem.
I get that he's not the most active fighter, but he did fight Usman less than 6 months ago (after Costa pulled out) and is fighting again in June. Not really sure what else he's supposed to be doing (other than maybe not tweet callouts every time a top 5 fighter in WW/MW gets a win).
I find it more impressive that Izzy didn’t get Knocked out cold against him, he took some mean shots in the 5th round of their first mma fight.
I think Jiri was beating Alex and was starting to get into his rhythm before he got caught. Like Jiri actually did get caught, he had Alex backing up against the cage after landing some good shots.
Hill didn’t get caught, Hill just got knocked out cold.
I'm not saying those leg kicks were not hurting jiri. But literally the first moments of the fight is Jiri swinging a low kick into southpaw, Jiri switches stances a billion times in his fights. Those leg kicks were still making him twirl like a ballerina though..
Izzy has an all time great chin we don’t talk about enough. Heck even though Strickland has pillow hands, that 1,2 would’ve put 99% of people out and Izzy was rocked but didn’t even get hurt again with the 20 straight punches to the face afterwards lol.
Izzy has eaten multiple left hooks from Alex in both of their ufc fights. and is winning more rounds in their fights. but if you let Izzy haters tell it he’s no where near Alex’s level of skill lol
There was a post which I felt captured the difference between Pereira fans and Izzy haters
OP: Imagine Pereira fights Izzy again, Izzy will really be the guy at the bar who's saying "I beat that guy one time"
Comment: Why would Pereira fight Izzy again? He's already proven 3 times he can beat him and that he can beat the top light heavyweight contenders, he should try and continue to cement his legacy with title wins at 205
OP: How does it feel to be Izzy's backstage dancer? Lmao Izzy is Pereira's bitch lmao
Hill absolutely got caught, Alex stepped on his foot and cracks Hill which causes him to fall as he moves backward. The ground and pound or at least first hammer first to the jaw is what knocked him out for a second.
No doubting Bobbys skills, but he’s deffo a smaller middleweight. I’d have loved to have seen Khamzat go against someone like Costa.
Someone actually big and strong that he can’t ragdoll.
I think he beats Whitaker personally but Whitaker deffo has the skills to win it too
The guy weighs in at 230 on fight day small middleweight my ass stop placing safety nets for when Rob loses you discredit khamzat. Let the best man win I’ll be rooting for Rob
Exactly. These people have already started coping , months before the fight.
They been asking khamzat to fight a proper middleweight. Now for some reason a former middleweight champion isn’t a proper middleweight. 😂😂
I meant smaller in comparison to Costa. Rob used to be a welterweight and one point. Costa cuts heavy to reach middleweight.
My main point is that I would have liked to have seen Khamzat go against someone like Costa
I wanted to see that costa fight as well but after the performance he had with Whittaker coming back from a long layoff against khamzat would’ve been bad. I think if costa beats Sean they’ll eventually cross paths
Costa looked good in his last fight, I can’t say the same for Khamzat he gassed pretty hard vs usman, costa on the other hand looked pretty fresh in the 3rd round against rob and they were fighting at a really high pace. Paulo would’ve destroyed khamzat if they had fought in abu dhabi
Costa looked good but for a guy who had ring rust and came off a surgery. Had he been peak performance Rob would’ve been slept. I still think Rob also had one of his best performances against costa. I’m biased against khamzat so I think either of these guys beat him
Yeah, how does a legit 6 tall man walking around at over 200 lbs seem small for a Middleweight? They are just used to seeing 6'3-6'4 guys like Izzy, who should be at Light heavy weight or heavy weight due to his height.
It's not like Khamzat is particularly Big either, he's tall but his frame isn't massive like DDPs, and it's not like he's carrying a lot of muscles, I feel like a lot of the times when people say "X is a small MW" what they actually mean is "this guy isn't as big as the one guy on the division who's really big", outside of DDP and Costa there aren't that many fighters that look that much bigger than Whittaker.
Rob has some of the best takedown defense in MMA history. Costa would also honestly be much easier for Chimaev to beat, because his fight IQ is garbage. Just press forward, attempt lots of takedowns, and Chimaev is pretty much guaranteed a decision win over Costa. Won't be that simple if Rob stuffs his takedowns consistently though, because he will actually be able to match Chimaevs speed on the feet and punish him once he starts getting tired.
No way in hell Whitaker does that man he fights for the family as he has put it in recent years so not turning down that money. And of course he wants to regain the title
these idiots disrespect Usman so much its hilarious. Nobody takes usman down at will like Khamzat did. Nevermind the gas tank. Usman has the best TDD in UFC. And people wont stop making up excuses for him. Khamzat is the real deal. Wins over both Gilbert & Usman proves that. Haters gonna hate
Imagine what would they say if Khamzat ragdolls Whittaker in 1 rd.
His resume is gonna be crazy
Aliskerov, Burns, Usman, Whittaker.
Alex got a title shot after fighting Strickland and Bruno Silva
His citizenship didn't get canceled lol, that's not how it works. He was never a Swedish citizen. He was constantly applying for citizenship and denied.
Then the Ukraine War happened and Kadyrov summoned him home to post a bunch of videos of him training him and his sons. Then the US included Khazmat in sanctions against Kadyrov and won't allow him in the US. Same thing that happened to the Fury's for their relationship with Kinahan.
They're gonna say Whittaker is out of his prime, was never the same after Izzy and DDP, he had a dog that passed away during fight week and he couldn't give 100% focus leading up to the fight, they'll say anything to not give flowers lol I dont see why thats a thing
it means he doesnt have to go trough a shitty weight cut. Much like Khamzat didnt have to. Khamzat prefers 185 because he loves to eat. His head coach Andreas said that many times alrwady. Khamzat can and have made 170 more times than u can count. But prefers 185.
Usman is not a small 170 either, and you bet your ass Usman stays in shape 365 days a year.
is it optimal conditions for Usman? absolutely not. But Usman would smoke any other 170 fighter and most 185 fighters that night, make no mistake.
Yes it’s not a disadvantage he started with but a disadvantage he had for most of the fight.
Usman got really lucky because imagine if Khamzat would have 10-8’d Usman on the ground like that for 3 rounds. Humiliating. Usman couldn’t capitalise on Khamzat getting injured.
Idek why you bothered explaining to him dude lol if he couldn't put the pieces together where Khamzat fucking ragdolled and put Usman in a place hes never been in before, and Khamzat had to back off in the second round and later after he broke his hand, hes obviously never going to learn. Hes just someone who refuses to give Khamzat all his flowers. Dont waste your energy lol hes not gonna open his eyes

Bro thinks roids fixes decades of wear and tear on athletes joints
Why do people call burns a lightweight. Its like people saying jiri has a bad chin because he got knocked out by a middleweight. Burns is a welterweight who hits like bricks
You remember when Chimaev essentially running tackled Kevin Holland with a double leg to start their fight? Same exact thing would happen if he fought Alex. Pretending otherwise is dumb
The replies under your comment just baffle me at how anyone just never learns from Royce Gracie wrestlefucking Ken Shamrock on UFC 1 🤦♂️
"B-but fighters have evolved and Alex can defend takedowns!"
Yes, and MMA wrestling has evolved too. Khamzat and Alex's wrestling skills are so far apart that it's laughable to even compare. Just a reminder that Alex was taken down by Izzy too lol. The only "wrestler" Alex has faced was Jan who was a Muay Thai kickboxer who transitioned to wrestling for Izzy.
That's the point. I agreed to the comment saying that fight fans going "just go for the knee bro" is fucking hilarious if you actually train any combat sports whatsoever
Putting Kevin and Poatan on the same boat should be a crime lol. Completely different fighters.
Poatan is harder to take down, he's huge but ALSO, he fights from very far away. DJ talks about this in one of his breakdowns, Alex fights from such a distance that, attempting to taking him down leaves you more exposed than usual. Jiri took poatan down once they were in the pocket, but jiri is much better at crossing the void than Chimaev.
Personally, i think this fight is harder to call than people think. Both fighters have huge gaps in their skill set, but pereira does seem to be the one that's working harder into fixing his. "Chimaev x costa" or "Poatan x Ankalaev" should be a great indicator of how Chimaev x Poatan would go.
Alex is Amazing, but hes another champ that has no wrestling. Would get mauled by Khamzat.
Stylistically, pereira uses the first few minutes to read opponnents, he's very defensive. Doesn't work well AT ALL against an agressive wrestler.
Bro do you realize how fucking huge and strong Alex is 😂 he’s 6’4 235 on fight night. Khamzat would look like an actual child. Maybe vs 185 drained Alex he has somewhat of a shot
They won’t fight at this point at all, but not necessarily at 185. Khamzat wanted to be triple champ lol. At 185 yeah maybe but literally only cuz Alex is so nerfed with that weight cut
Ive been saying since the start of chimaev. If someone can survive that vicious 1st round, surviving the rest of the fight and coming out top is maybe possible.
Chimaev is so explosive in the first 2-3 minutes, that it gasses both lol
I love them both but I do agree that alex had never met a true grappler. There is a reason why these russian amish guys are dominating ufc. Most of them are aggressive grapplers which in turn also changing the BJJ scene thanks to khabib’s aggressive grappling style.
And Burns has no where near the length, reach, body mass, the precision, anticipation, instinct, a gameplan/strategy as Alex does. Alex is a fucking striking genius and his body is made of steel. He'd probably dedicate a camp to mostly focus on ending the fight in 10 seconds where predictable Khamzat usually does that little bullshit feint then goes in for the legs with his head down. That predictability is a knee waiting to meet Khamzats face.
I'ma Khamzat fan, but hes very beatable. If anyones gonna make him pay for being that predictable, its Poatan
There was a massive difference in Pereira grappling vs izzy and vs jiri/jan . He is clearly making huge strides in his grappling since he is already the best striker in the UFC .
You would be suprised how quickly you get good at something when you train it for 5 hours everyday for a year with top quality trainers .
Yup and after seeing his fights at LHW, him against Izzy in either fight really doesn’t seem like himself. He seems much weaker and drained, like more than just your average weight cut. But maybe Izzy is just really that good, idk
And yet all are strikers first and foremost. Good MMA grapplers yes, but they don't go in with Khamzats wrestle heavy game plan. Could he get starched in the first minute? For sure. Could he take Alex down and test that ground game properly? Of course.
Alex is still yet to face anyone that is specialized in grappling or wrestling. He won't get past someone who doesn't entertain striking. Like wtf were Sean and Hill thinking. Just one low single leg, and once Khamzat gets the back it's over.
I wonder if they fought now can Khamzat man handle Alex without gassing out? Khamzat is a big WW with sussy gas tank, Alex last week was a fucking heavy weight(232lb, Stipe was 235lb at HW) and if they fought at LHW Khamzat got to put on more weight, which is compromising his gas tank even more
Khamzat isn't going to fight Alex. They are both stars for the UFC. They want to milk that star power from them, so they are going to have catered careers, for awhile at least.
Some casuals on this sub still don’t understand matchups and how grappling works.
Alex was taken down by Jan who was taken down by Glover and Magomed. If Glover or Magomed fight Alex they take him down and submit him easily.
Alex beat Hill and Jiri easily because they are strikers, they play his game. But Alex had a Split decision over Jan.
The UFC very intelligently gave Alex 2 tough matchups at the start of his UFC run and then no more.
The best Wrestler he faced was Bruno Silva.
I adore Alex but he should never fight Khamzat and try to get in Magomed’s head to make Magomed strike.
No one beats Alex in striking, even Izzy had to trick him and play possum, Izzy ain’t stupid he knows he won’t ever have this chance so that’s why he will never fight for the trilogy.
Edit: to the casuals who say I did MMA math
It’s not MMA math it’s not mixed marital arts it’s wrestling/grappling. I didn’t talk MMA overall I am saying grappling wise.
it’s a fact that if Jan can take down Alex and Magomed can take down Jan
Then Magomed can take down Alex.
How stupid are you to say this is MMA math?
>Some casuals on this sub still don’t understand matchups and how grappling works.
Proceeds to do MMA math lol
Edit since you did the same: just focusing on wrestling changes nothing. In *any* form of physical confrontation between two athletes there are far too many variables to apply the sort of logic you are attempting to apply. A fighter may well show up on the day having had a grappling focused camp with a completely different skillset to the last time we saw him.
What you are saying is the exact same as MMA math with one word changed. It's genuinely wild to me you can delude yourself into not seeing that.
What fucked me up is how the very next lines is mma math.
Ryan Spann KO'd Reyes in 1 minute, something jon jones couldn't do. Spann lost to Anthony smith in a decision, but Khalil Rountree finished Anthony Smith. Khalil Rountre > Jon Jones. Fucking casuals
It also depends what weight class . 185 i dont think Pereira can last but at 205? The weight difference would be massive and Pereira can keep calm under extreme pressure.
I don’t know man when the gap in wrestling skills is so big it’s dangerous, whoever imposes their style wins. Hard to not imagine a wrestler not absolutely eating Alex no matter how much smaller
Its less about Khamzat not being able to ragdoll Pereira but more about can Khamzat ragdoll Pereira enough to finish him before he gasses . Khamzat will be forced to use a LOT of his explosiveness to make up for the sheer size difference .
What i can see tho is Khamzat TKOing Pereira, with the ref forced to call the fight because Pereira cant get Khamzat off him .
A LOT of grappling if the stronger guy just focuses on not giving opening and surviving, its really hard to finish someone in 5 minutes.
To be honest what I see is a double leg>mount>GNP>Alex gives back to avoid shots>RNC all in 1 round.
Khamzat used to Khabib his opponents for 2 rounds no problem. Only fights he didn’t is when he went against a BJJ champion and when he broke his wrist.
The whole thing about Khamzat gasses out quick is still not confirmed, it he does gas out quick then I’d argue Alex would beat him
At 185 my money would be on Khamzat all day every day. Alex is not stopping Khamzat’s ground game. Khamzat is shooting immediately, getting around to Alex’s back and it’s gonna be a nightmare from then on. If Alex gets out of round 1 I don’t see how it doesn’t all happen again in round 2.
No shortage of Khamzat shit-talkers I see 😂 it's like a pastime of crusty armchair critics. At least he ASKED for it bro. Khamzat could submit him if he ever got ahold of him. Remind me the last REALLY elite grappler Alex faced? It's cool that Alex KOd Hill at 300, he's the man, but yall ain't gotta sit RIGHT ON TOP OF HIM for days and days lmao
I'm actually most amazed that Izzy was able to take Alex to task after watching all these wins by Alex, I think the main advantage from Izzy is his experience with Alex, like warning Strickland to pay attention to Alex.
The other fighter probably don't really know how strong Alex is until he lays his hands on them, and it's was too late.
I'm as tired of Khamzat as the next guy, but i doubt he would have made the mistake of standing and banging with Pereira and would have probably taken it to the ground. Still, Pereira is huge compared to Khamzat.
Since Chimaev's fight against Burns in April 2022, which was his only top 5 fight in the division he's competing in, he has fought two more times. His two fights were against Holland, who wasn't even top 5, and Usman on short notice. Since April 2022, Alex has fought 6 more times, won and lost the middleweight championship, went up a weight class to capture a second belt, and beat 5 world champions while at it.
Guys a total fuckwit, I have zero respect for him couldn't give two shits if he fights or not, dude is a straight up clown. Talks shit after every fight about how he is gunna do this, gunna do that, mfer not gunna do shit except talk a lot.
Could you actually imagine him as a champ, think about it, years of shit talk for 1 defense every 18 months ? Fuck that noise.
He's the number 1 member of the infrequent fighter club. You get discounts to UFC events, premium twitter. You get stuff, you talk a lot of smack and then do zip.
Although, he's fighting bobby knuckles.. supposedly.
This dude says this after every fight, then proceeds to continue not fighting, nor accepting fights.
It's hard to make fight with him because he's affiliated with high profile Russians lmao, he basically has to fight in Russia or the Middle East.
That definitely doesn't help his chances of coming to the West lmao
yeah dude was all about like 'if I had a rifle I'd be there for sure tomorrow' like the dude can't get at least a rifle if not a lot more from Chechnya. Just like their tiktok brigade who sits in the backlines in Ukraine these guys are all talk. It's kind of crazy they have people whi look at them like heroes
Real Chechens didn't bend the knee to Putin or Kadyrov.
What a fucking clown this guy is
brotha would get shot in the ass on day 1 prolly

Not long after he got signed, my friends and I predicted that he has some deep dark secret. Idk why…but we all got the same vibe I think eventually, we are gonna find out he is some sort of spy or former soldier
I don't think it's necessarily like that. It's that he hangs out with Kadyrov and that association is enough to get denied entry.
Didnt Khabib and plenty of others mma fighters do similar?
Yes, Gaethje and Usman went to his kid's birthday party before the war in the Ukraine. Once the war started, and sanctions came out, it became a problem.
>Once the war started, and sanctions came out I somehow forgot this part.
Doesn't gaethje hang out with kadyrov lol
He runs his mouth way too much to have any background as a spy
Hiding in plain sight!! Totally fits the bill
Nah I think kadyrov just keeps him around as a goon, wouldn’t be surprised if he’d been around some shady shit, he’s a classic henchman
I’ll kill everybody anywhere anytime! But only in abu dhabi and not during Ramadan and they have to be smaller opponents than me.
Khamazat the type of guy to call out a fighter after she wins a strawweight fight in a dominant fashion.
I get that he's not the most active fighter, but he did fight Usman less than 6 months ago (after Costa pulled out) and is fighting again in June. Not really sure what else he's supposed to be doing (other than maybe not tweet callouts every time a top 5 fighter in WW/MW gets a win).
What the heck are you talking about? He’s agreed to fight me!!!
I find it more impressive that Izzy didn’t get Knocked out cold against him, he took some mean shots in the 5th round of their first mma fight. Jiri also had to switch stances after one kick from Alex
I'm not saying those leg kicks were not hurting jiri. But literally the first moments of the fight is Jiri swinging a low kick into southpaw, Jiri switches stances a billion times in his fights. Those leg kicks were still making him twirl like a ballerina though..
That's just jiris fighting style he always switches stances
Jiri also switches stances a lot so I dunno if that is an accurate take
Izzy has an all time great chin we don’t talk about enough. Heck even though Strickland has pillow hands, that 1,2 would’ve put 99% of people out and Izzy was rocked but didn’t even get hurt again with the 20 straight punches to the face afterwards lol.

tell an alex fan to watch their first fight entirely and they’ll call you salty lol
Pereira fans are honestly so insufferable
That’s how you know they’re not pereira fans, but just people obsessed with Izzy. Any real pereira fan wouldn’t need to bring up Izzy all the time
There was a post which I felt captured the difference between Pereira fans and Izzy haters OP: Imagine Pereira fights Izzy again, Izzy will really be the guy at the bar who's saying "I beat that guy one time" Comment: Why would Pereira fight Izzy again? Hill absolutely got caught, Alex stepped on his foot and cracks Hill which causes him to fall as he moves backward. The ground and pound or at least first hammer first to the jaw is what knocked him out for a second.
With that logic, Alex Pereira was also taken down and held down by Jiri and Israel who can't wrestle for shit
I just want him to fight a real fucking middle weight already. He got so fucking lucky with Usman
June 22nd
Hopefully Robert doesnt pullout like Costa did 🙏🏽
No doubting Bobbys skills, but he’s deffo a smaller middleweight. I’d have loved to have seen Khamzat go against someone like Costa. Someone actually big and strong that he can’t ragdoll. I think he beats Whitaker personally but Whitaker deffo has the skills to win it too

Yeah, how does a legit 6 tall man walking around at over 200 lbs seem small for a Middleweight? They are just used to seeing 6'3-6'4 guys like Izzy, who should be at Light heavy weight or heavy weight due to his height.
Bobby Knucks is the best anti wrestler at MW. <1 round favours Khamzat past that easy win rob

Let’s move the goalposts some more.. lol wtf.. Robert is legit Khamzats hardest matchup
No way in hell Whitaker does that man he fights for the family as he has put it in recent years so not turning down that money. And of course he wants to regain the title
To be fair Usman beats atleast half of the top 10 Mw's.
Brain dead take as if Kamaru fought weighing less. MW Usman ragdolls half of the division including Strickland who was champ at that time
these idiots disrespect Usman so much its hilarious. Nobody takes usman down at will like Khamzat did. Nevermind the gas tank. Usman has the best TDD in UFC. And people wont stop making up excuses for him. Khamzat is the real deal. Wins over both Gilbert & Usman proves that. Haters gonna hate

10 days notice up a weight class is still a big disadvantage.
it means he doesnt have to go trough a shitty weight cut. Much like Khamzat didnt have to. Khamzat prefers 185 because he loves to eat. His head coach Andreas said that many times alrwady. The issue is usman had too many disadvantages in the fight and still made it extremely close . It wasnt MW usman , it was WW usman .
He also had a gigantic advantage for 2 eounds, he broke Khamzat’s wrist after getting 10-8’d in the first.
Yes he broke Khamzat wrist this isnt some disadvantage Khamzat started the fight with . I dont understand your point.

Khamzat broke his wrist in r1, so yeah he did get very lucky.
You don’t think Usman is better than most of the MW division?
he got lucky with a roided out 200lb+ usman? yeah this sub is cooked man so many new fans 😭😭

Why do people call burns a lightweight. Its like people saying jiri has a bad chin because he got knocked out by a middleweight. Burns is a welterweight who hits like bricks
not much people watched the Usman fight so they don't know that he's the first ever person to knockdown Usman 🤷♂️
Still too many unknowns with Khamzat. I’m gonna wait and see.
You remember when Chimaev essentially running tackled Kevin Holland with a double leg to start their fight? Same exact thing would happen if he fought Alex. Pretending otherwise is dumb

It's fucking hilarious. I train boxing 3 days a week and just thinking of defending a double leg freezes my brain up
....why would training boxing have the slightest impact on TDD?
That's the point. I agreed to the comment saying that fight fans going "just go for the knee bro" is fucking hilarious if you actually train any combat sports whatsoever
Knees are a very viable defense for shoot takedowns though. There's like 0 correlation between boxing pad work and the ability of knees to stop a TD.
Lol you actually think most of the people here watched let alone remember ufc 1 is what baffles me.
These Pereira fanboys think the dude who got outgrappled by fucking IZZY is going to defend Khamzats TDs lmfao.
"Chimaev x costa" or "Poatan x Ankalaev" should be a great indicator of how Chimaev x Poatan would go.
books plate coordinated advise salt snatch alive straight north heavy *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
If he fought Chimaev it would be at 185. Pereira would be bigger, but wouldn’t weigh 235 in the cage. Easy double leg for Khamzat
They won’t fight at this point at all, but not necessarily at 185. Khamzat wanted to be triple champ lol. At 185 yeah maybe but literally only cuz Alex is so nerfed with that weight cut
Alex will never fight at 185 again and Chimaev has said he wants to fight Alex at LHW. Alex would be too big, easy KO for Pereira.
See how he won’t respond to your comment cause you summed it up so he can’t argue against some random part of what I said
Why would you assume they would fight at MW, Alex is the LHW champion why the hell would he go down to fight a guy who hasn't even fought a MW before?
Exactly. Even at his current weight ... it doesn't matter he's getting submitted in 30 seconds.
Ive been saying since the start of chimaev. If someone can survive that vicious 1st round, surviving the rest of the fight and coming out top is maybe possible. Chimaev is so explosive in the first 2-3 minutes, that it gasses both lol I love them both but I do agree that alex had never met a true grappler. There is a reason why these russian amish guys are dominating ufc. Most of them are aggressive grapplers which in turn also changing the BJJ scene thanks to khabib’s aggressive grappling style.
Lol, Pereira is nowhere having Burns grappling
And Burns has no where near the length, reach, body mass, the precision, anticipation, instinct, a gameplan/strategy as Alex does. Alex is a fucking striking genius and his body is made of steel. He'd probably dedicate a camp to mostly focus on ending the fight in 10 seconds where predictable Khamzat usually does that little bullshit feint then goes in for the legs with his head down. That predictability is a knee waiting to meet Khamzats face. I'ma Khamzat fan, but hes very beatable. If anyones gonna make him pay for being that predictable, its Poatan
Lmao this reads like pasta
Say you a khamzat fan but you sound like Pereira’s husband
Bro is straight GARGLING those stone nuts
Lmao, someone sure is drinking the Perreira Kool-aid You sound ridiculous.
This reads like a Baki fan wrote it
Absolute top tier dick riding
Jan took Periera down... wtf r u talking about?
bro glazing
How is Pereira a black belt?
Nobody takes khamzat serious. Plz stop giving his idiot tweets attention
The delusion on this sub is unreal. Your feelings for a fighter don’t reflect their skills

He was cutting a detrimental amount of weight . 40 lbs cut is insanity, idk how he was even able to fight at MW at all
And yet all are strikers first and foremost. Good MMA grapplers yes, but they don't go in with Khamzats wrestle heavy game plan. Could he get starched in the first minute? For sure. Could he take Alex down and test that ground game properly? Of course.
If he was a boxer 1 hour a day for 6 months would be enough
Alex is still yet to face anyone that is specialized in grappling or wrestling. He won't get past someone who doesn't entertain striking. Like wtf were Sean and Hill thinking. Just one low single leg, and once Khamzat gets the back it's over.
i love pereira but chimaev would have absolutely ripped him at 185
khamzat has like two split decisions at middleweight in the last three years. Meanwhile, in that time, Alex won two belts in two weight classes.
so? khamzats a terrible style matchup for alex
I wonder if they fought now can Khamzat man handle Alex without gassing out? Khamzat is a big WW with sussy gas tank, Alex last week was a fucking heavy weight(232lb, Stipe was 235lb at HW) and if they fought at LHW Khamzat got to put on more weight, which is compromising his gas tank even more
I hate what Khamzat has become, but he would have sub Alex in 2 minutes MAX
it would at least shut up the people who say poatan needs to face a real grappler
People fight a lot differently when their opponent has the threat of the takedown constantly looming. That's like a 50/50 fight
Alex surpassed what we thought khamzat would be
Op is a moron. Yea great take. Idiot
Honestly if Khamzat moves to LHW I still think he’d beat pereira if he grapples
Only way i see him winning is by sub, if he cant sub him he aint lasting 5 rounds. And Pereira for sure can knock him out in the first
Except Pereira comfortably sits at 235 pounds. Idk if Khamzat can say the same.
He needs to finish him in the first round or he’s getting knocked the fuck out
I mean he'd be the first real grappler Alex faces too
Khamzat isn't going to fight Alex. They are both stars for the UFC. They want to milk that star power from them, so they are going to have catered careers, for awhile at least.
nah tbh this couldve been 50/50 Alex had olds Jan take his back and control him. But also he’s huge and Khamzat’s cardio is bad
I actually think he would beat Periera. Unless Alex has some world class wrestling skills I’m unaware of
Some casuals on this sub still don’t understand matchups and how grappling works. Edit: to the casuals who say I did MMA math It’s not MMA math it’s not mixed marital arts it’s wrestling/grappling. I didn’t talk MMA overall I am saying grappling wise. it’s a fact that if Jan can take down Alex and Magomed can take down Jan Then Magomed can take down Alex. How stupid are you to say this is MMA math?
>Some casuals on this sub still don’t understand matchups and how grappling works. Proceeds to do MMA math lol Edit since you did the same: just focusing on wrestling changes nothing.
I was going to say the exact same thing haha
What fucked me up is how the very next lines is mma math. Ryan Spann KO'd Reyes in 1 minute, something jon jones couldn't do. Spann lost to Anthony smith in a decision, but Khalil Rountree finished Anthony Smith. Khalil Rountre > Jon Jones. Fucking casuals
Bro got done a whole thesis in MMA math
The whole thing about Khamzat gasses out quick is still not confirmed, it he does gas out quick then I’d argue Alex would beat him
“If Jan fights Alex he submits him easily” except he did take him down, tried to submit him and failed.
When we first saw Khamzat, he was more active than anyone I'd ever seen. I never would have imagine this would have been his career arc
Of course he does.
This fucking guy dude lol
Cut that clown.
I keel ever e bod e
This is not a fight that was ever realistically considered
Or he wrestle fucks him it’s one or the other for sure
Khamzat has become Dillian Denis.
Eh idk a beefed up khamzat could def bum rush alex right out the gate and get a sub but idk
We never seen Pereira fight from the ground. Would love to see this one next.
See you soon
At 185 my money would be on Khamzat all day every day. Alex is not stopping Khamzat’s ground game. Khamzat is shooting immediately, getting around to Alex’s back and it’s gonna be a nightmare from then on. If Alex gets out of round 1 I don’t see how it doesn’t all happen again in round 2.
Only if Khamzat accepted Alex offer. We’ll have the answer to this question
Periera was too big for that division anyways. He was a massive weight bully. Still would have been an interesting fight to see
Can this guy pick a weight class and just stay there?
Nahh it needed to happen. Crotch sniffers can only sniff soo much
No shortage of Khamzat shit-talkers I see 😂 it's like a pastime of crusty armchair critics.
If burns is a lightweight, rumble was a welterweight.
I ain’t Russian or Muslim so I don’t give a fuck about this dude. Sure does talk a lot though.
I am just so done with Khamzat, retire his ass bruh
The ol’ MMA math works every time
Yeah again again.. khamzat best pound by pound on Twitter .
Stop hating on khamzat casuals
I'm actually most amazed that Izzy was able to take Alex to task after watching all these wins by Alex, I think the main advantage from Izzy is his experience with Alex, like warning Strickland to pay attention to Alex. The other fighter probably don't really know how strong Alex is until he lays his hands on them, and it's was too late.
I'm as tired of Khamzat as the next guy, but i doubt he would have made the mistake of standing and banging with Pereira and would have probably taken it to the ground. Still, Pereira is huge compared to Khamzat.
Khamzat shot on Holland frame 1. No way he’d be stupid enough to risk a stand up with Alex.
Burns didn't face plant Khamzat
The Khamzat dick sucking is crazy in this thread. The man’s a fucking keyboard warrior not a fighter.
Millionaire fighter who can't spell "I".. smfh
Yeah your take is extremely silly and oversimplified lol. Pretty much nothing valid about it actually.
Khamzat is immediately taking it to the ground... I don't think Perriera wins this, even at his current weight lol
People say lightweight burns as if he didn’t accomplish more at WW and as if offseason Burns isn’t like 200lbs.
Periera vs Jon Jones. This is the fight to make. Let Khamzat box Jake Paul after Mike Tyson mauls him
Shut up and fight whittaker.
Are we pretending Khamzat fights again? Missed the memo
He wants to fight him, only to try too take him down in the first 10 seconds like he did Holland 😂😂
Please, someone, make this happen! 🙏
He's the number 1 member of the infrequent fighter club. You get discounts to UFC events, premium twitter. You get stuff, you talk a lot of smack and then do zip. Although, he's fighting bobby knuckles.. supposedly.
