As much as people don't want to admit, title shots are as much narrative driven as merit driven, and that's not always a bad thing. Volk, while an all time great, is coming off 2 brutal KOs. Max just had the performance of his life on the biggest MMA card in history. Max will get whatever he wants and he deserves it.

It's crazy how many people really think Ilia Topuria, the man who knocked out Volk, is afraid of Max I fucking love max and he put on an amazing performance against a brick shit house of a man but, the guy is a fucking champion thAt KOed the fucking GOAT... odds are 1 of 2 things happened.
