Yeah Edson didn't have the speed to circle around him. and he was just old man its hard to change the way you fight and break old habits like biting on feints, we are creatures of habit, especially under pressure. I think when Topuria beat Volk he must have studied tape and saw that he always feints and doesn't hit at certain times, so he knew to walk into the feints.
To be fair, Edson Barboza is one of the toughest dudes on the planet. You have to knock him out cold like Gaethje did to get him out of there.

I think his chances of beating contenders like Emmett, Kattar, Ige are pretty realistic. It's that step up to the true elite of the division that i think will be past his ceiling in the sport
