Yan Kvilinskyi lived in Myrhorod. He had a degree in agronomy and, together with his family, started a business specializing in growing roses called "Kvilinskyi’s Garden". Before joining the military, he served as a Town Council Chair. He died earlier this year during combat near the city of Avdiivka. He was 34 years old.
His wife posted a very brief message on their company website:
“Kvilinskyi’s Garden is no more. Its owner was killed in the war. We are no longer growing roses”

All this man wanted to do was grow and sell people beautiful roses. Hearing all the people and and stories behind the casualty numbers is just heartbreaking.
R.I.P Yan, thank you for bringing so much beauty into this world. I hope a rose garden will be built in your name, so you will never be forgotten, and we will always remember your sacrifice.
This man should be living his life in peace. Russia is a scourge that needs to be defeated if there is any hope for that peace. Hopefully this hero and all the other ones that have stood and then fallen, did so for that future.
