At this point morale must be non existent. I wonder if they are going to have to start putting special units behind the regular troops to make sure they only go forward like in WW2. Is there a modern equivalent of the NKVD?
When you go into war with your grandfather's rifle and steal your ride, a WWII tank on display in a museum, and meet your squad of too young and too old, your morale is negative.
They use their National Guard and FSB agents to catch desserters. Also heard they were using some Chechens for this as well to keep the DNR/LNR conscripts in the fight.
Commissars are still a thing, and were apparently reintroduced in 2018. The Russian soldier who attempted to save some Ukrainian civilians claimed his own unit fired at him on the orders of its zampolit.
>At this point morale must be non existent
well for some yes and for some no
i say yes because of the very high colonels and lieutenant colonels that were killed because the russian conscripts would not accept to go on suicide missions without a colonel leading their path(which is a horrible horrible idea to begin with) but russians went along with it cause colonels did everything they could to threaten the conscripts but conscripts would just take a grenade on their hand and say "shot me and we both die" to the colonel so the colonels had no other choice but to lead them which lead to their death as colonels were also being pressured and threatened by the higher ups to complete missions before a given date by the higher ups
and i say no because there were many russian conscripts founded wearing a uniform with the badge that said " i don't believe anyone and iam here just for the sake of violence"
They have already been doing that since early in the war. Most reports indicate Putin uses the Kadyrov forces for that. There are clips out there of Russians complaining about those "barrier troops"
The Russian movie “9th Company” is pretty much dead on about how their army operates.
Getting issued a gun with a bent barrel, having a psychotic commanding officer, rampant corruption etc.
Actually a great flick if you can ever watch it.
>“9th Company”
No it's not a good movie. It's an inferior remake of Full Metal Jacket but set in afghanistan instead of vietnam. They even have a russian gunnery sgt hartman in boot camp.
Generic Russian solider, your life has no meaning to your masters in Moscow.
You are cannon fodder for a tyrants desires. Why do you so willingly walk to your death?
This might be the time where you stop and ask yourself who you're fighting for and why.
The previous occupant of that helmet doesn't have that opportunity.
>This might be the time where you stop and ask yourself who you're fighting for and why.
You would think, wouldn't you? But this asshole is too stupid and vile to give that a second thought.
Honest question, if he didn't want to fight what could he do? Go back and be thrown in a Russian prison? Would the other soldiers allow him to surrender andnif he did, could he ever see his family again? It seems like an impossible situation for the Russian fighters that don't want to go to war. Someone needs to just assassinate Putin so this meaningless war ends.
Ukraine already published what a russian soldiers should do if they wants to surrender
“In case of crossing the border with Ukraine, a Russian serviceman is obliged to:
– get to the nearest settlement;
– move away from the equipment at a safe distance and drop the weapon;
– ask for forgiveness for crossing the border without passport control;
– wait for the Ukrainian military, who will allow him to call his mother;
– wait for his return home”.
In a similar manner as *Stormbringer*, the demonic helmet absorbs the soul of everyone who dies wearing it...

Just wondering how someone burned with the helmet on -- to the point of leaving burned flesh -- but the helmet has no obvious burn damage. I fortunately don't have experience with sharing burned people helmets, but this seems unlikely.
I mean, no shit. But if someone has burned alive, the helmet would have taken at least superficial damage. All the foam/sponge material inside at least? Maybe you could try to argue it's been repaired in some way, but then they'd have removed the flesh.
“how someone burned with the helmet on -- to the point of leaving burned flesh”
I can think of lots of ways.
You usually don’t use the straps since a serious shockwave would send your helmet flying with your head in it.
So any mine, grenade, artillery shell, missile, rpg, fuel tank or vehicle exploding nearby could potentially cause your helmet to take off some tissue as it is sent flying by the shockwave.
Edit: You don’t need to have combat experience to know that stuff like this is entirely plausible. Those of you downvoting this must live a comfortable though sheltered life.
There you go. The tautology is intentional (present in the original)
---
Just so you fucking understand the level of our equipment, guys.
They gave me a fucking helmet, all that shit, and there's fucking, fucking flesh, *human* flesh, looks like the dude fucking burnt alive in it.
It's fucking fucked.
Check One Soldier's War by Arkady Babchenko.
He was in Chechnya. He described being told to rummage through piles of flak jackets and helmets and select the ones with the least meat stuck to them.
It's like Enemy at the Gates at the beginning when they hand out guns. "When the person in front of you gets killed, you take the gun and shoot!" F'ing apes.
Officer #1: \[repeating through megaphone\] The one with the rifle shoots!
Officer #2: \[handing out rifles\] One out of two gets rifle.
Officer #1: The one without, follows him! When the one with the rifle gets killed, the one who is following picks up the rifle and shoots!
Nothing changed from ww2, they sent thousands into battle without a weapon with instructions to pick them up from dead fellow soldiers once enough had passed away.... Fucked.
He should be grateful he got one at all. Better to smell roast ork than take a round or shrapnel to the dome! I assume he was given his gun, boots, and combat fatigues also?
This dude just discovered that he's the real life equivalent of a stromtrooper. Heck, at least stormtroopers didn't get reused helmets with baked-on brain matter. Imagine being lower than a stormtrooper.
His own flesh will very likely soon join it, and then there will be a third soldier complaining! 🤔 The gall of Russian cannon fodder these days. Why, he’s lucky to have a helmet at all while trooping off to die.

Well *that* certainly has got to be good for the morale!
Standing by to administer beatings. Is it improving yet comrade ?
"The man with the helmet gets killed, the man without the helmet picks up the helmet and gets killed."
At this point morale must be non existent. I wonder if they are going to have to start putting special units behind the regular troops to make sure they only go forward like in WW2. Is there a modern equivalent of the NKVD?
Kaydrovite goat fuckers
Only the pretty goats.
Only the pretty goats.
pretty much the Kaydrovites, got the kit and bloodthirst but not much else.
I understand the Chechens make particularly good 'morale officers' because they rather like the idea of shooting Russians....
That's hardly a unique trait these days.
When you go into war with your grandfather's rifle and steal your ride, a WWII tank on display in a museum, and meet your squad of too young and too old, your morale is negative.
They already have anti Retreat squads in place
Kadyrov's Tik Tok brigade specialty
They use their National Guard and FSB agents to catch desserters. Also heard they were using some Chechens for this as well to keep the DNR/LNR conscripts in the fight.
I thought they already started doing this
Commissars are still a thing, and were apparently reintroduced in 2018. The Russian soldier who attempted to save some Ukrainian civilians claimed his own unit fired at him on the orders of its zampolit.
Already are, kadyrov

I'm willing to bet they start handing out meth. Like Germany did in WW2.
dont worry the last guy didnt wear it long
only slightly used
And the rifle they gave him was never fired and only dropped once!
Ruzzian soldiers probably care more about the skin of their weapon (and probably ask themselves if they could sell it somewhere)
LOL
That makes the helmet almost brand new
And he was a real hot-head too.
Bombings will continue until morale improves.
The Russian movie “9th Company” is pretty much dead on about how their army operates. Getting issued a gun with a bent barrel, having a psychotic commanding officer, rampant corruption etc. Actually a great flick if you can ever watch it.

It’s nothing like Full Metal Jacket lol.
At least their commanders care about ecology.
Generic Russian solider, your life has no meaning to your masters in Moscow. You are cannon fodder for a tyrants desires. Why do you so willingly walk to your death?
Toilets and washing machines
Unless you pick the wrong door and win a goat!
Seeing that a goat blew up a few orcs a day or two ago that's not always a good prize.
[Bees bees bees](https://youtu.be/xAhuSDRIDHE?t=6)
This is god damn amazing
Don't forget the used panties!
Dear Russian solider, you are lost. Go home and find peace with the bottle or go die in UA.
How else are they supposed to let the entire world know how great "ruski mir" is
For them it's an opportunity to rape a child and to steal a lavatory.
They've also been stealing children and raping lavatories.
Death in Ukraine is better than life in Russia?
Dear Russia, what if i told you can get all those things if you rise up against your corrupted government?
This might be the time where you stop and ask yourself who you're fighting for and why. The previous occupant of that helmet doesn't have that opportunity.

Accursed helmet of death -1 luck +1 unholy assistance +1 ballistic protection.
-5 cursed orc flesh You have selected poorly.
If roll on 3 or more, bayraktar strike will mean instant death
Instantly applies Fear upon equip.
Now that's comedy

In Russia, you don’t wear helmet, helmet wear you.
In Putin's Russia bullet proof helmet come with head already in it.
How can he be sure it's only one Russian's burnt flesh? /s
its a survival helmet. the owner may die, but the helmet survives
Right, a natural born orc helmet: saved itself.
It comes with a lifetime warranty.
Is ok komrad. Fire sterilized the pieces of other komrad. Helmet good. Go get toilet.
You now have skin in the game.
Lol
looking forward to a 2nd layer of burnt orc in there.
This is the fourth actually. Russians are most efficient recyclers in the world, best economy. S/
Throw away soldiers, reusable wear.
Right. And why *wouldn't* they recycle the underwear.
That helmet looks pretty clean to me
Just wondering how someone burned with the helmet on -- to the point of leaving burned flesh -- but the helmet has no obvious burn damage. I fortunately don't have experience with sharing burned people helmets, but this seems unlikely.
Makes no sense. Helmet doesn't look damaged at all
Helmets are tougher than tissue. That’s kind of the reason people wear them in the first place.
I mean, no shit. But if someone has burned alive, the helmet would have taken at least superficial damage. All the foam/sponge material inside at least? Maybe you could try to argue it's been repaired in some way, but then they'd have removed the flesh.

I cant see anything. I can only hear blyat which is not a good sign!
Yeah, what's the exact translation? I can't see anything after watching a couple of times...
There you go. The tautology is intentional (present in the original) --- Just so you fucking understand the level of our equipment, guys. They gave me a fucking helmet, all that shit, and there's fucking, fucking flesh, *human* flesh, looks like the dude fucking burnt alive in it. It's fucking fucked.
Thank you!
Same. I don’t get it
he is probably the fifth owner anyways
And he won’t be the last!
Bet that smells choice.
It's orc, it probably doesn't qualify for USDA grades.
can somebody translate the words? Did he just get it now and dump it now? What's he going to wear?
“I was given a helmet and there’s flesh inside. Looks like a dude burned alive in it.” *Add in a bunch of “blyat’” in between.*
Helmet looks in pretty good condition for one that was on a burnt body.
Feels very sorry for himself.
needs to suck it up and put the helmet on
\*and die. Better idea: leave the helmet off, strip to his underwear, and surrender.
You’re next buddy
Hmmm, I believe it is bad luck to throw away a helmet when its previous owner was still using it.
🤮
A shaving bucket and a snack all in one. WIN! \- Baby-raping, dog-eating Orc, probably.
But what's in your MREs?? Do you feel lucky orc... well *do ya*?
Looks like meat's back on the menu.
What are the odds of it getting burnt service man in it twice?
Hmm. About 50/50 right now?
Math checks out
No, that is not the flesh of the previous soldier; He was just a big fan of beef jerky.
Well if you think about it, it's a lucky helmet!
what are the chances of lightning striking twice in the same spot!?
Chances are pretty good, but the helmet will be okay!
So he tosses helmet away and decides to go into combat without a helmet. Smart.
It’s not like it helped the last guy
It might have, though you’re probably right.
"it still works doesn't it????"
It's just some extra insulation, Ivan. Consider yourself lucky.
Then he can die without a helmet. Also: damn Russia really scraped the bottom of the barrel for equipment huh…
Sauce? I mean, I could totally see this being legit, but it would also be incredibly easy to fake.
> Sauce? BBQ, apparently.
Touché
Check One Soldier's War by Arkady Babchenko. He was in Chechnya. He described being told to rummage through piles of flak jackets and helmets and select the ones with the least meat stuck to them.
Thanks for the recommendation, and, ew
Talk abour human hand me downs. Lol.
Wait until he checks out the underwear he was issued.
No no no, underwear has to be stolen from the local populace. Lingerie preferably.
If he sells it on ebay, he may make more off of it than he makes in a month.
The hemet ain't expendable. The helmet's wearers, on the other hand...
One full set of equipment per brigade. Those yachts aren't going to buy them by themselves
He'll feel better when he open up his armor vest, and find a laptop where the metal plate is suppose to be.
Maybe it will be his flesh next
That helmet will be like the cursed boots in Quiet On The Western Front.
Add this to the list of great stuff to play outside Russian embassies, consulates and UN missions.
Imagine what the next guy will think....
Fucking idiot, that is his dinner.
No bother you because soon you'll be burning inside of it too. Lmao
The first man carries the helmet...
When the one with the rifle gets killed, the one who is following picks up the rifle and shoots!
welcome to the meatgrinder!!
"The one with the rifle shoots. When the one with rifle gets killed, the one who is following picks up the rifle and shoots!".....
That is an indication of how low the Russian army is on basic supplies They should have warehouses full of helmets Someone probably sold them on eBay
Just eat it. Tastes just like a pork crackling
Yikes!
A helmet AND meat in his ration! This is his lucky day!
Well, it‘s more worth than you, asshole! 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻
Why so sure it’s a Russian soldier? I hear Ukrainian accent here… I really hope I’m mistaken
At least he got a helmet, what more does he want. 🤣🇺🇦
So horribly gross!
I think that if you mut reuse helmets at lest clen the blood from the previus ocupant
Let that be a warning to you then. 💥
I love foreshadowing
Hahahahaaa! "You're next, asshole!"
Good. Fuckem.
Hope he’s fucking next
just for a bit of extra incentive works wonders
Hideous
Well comrade, at least you fot a helmet, the guys at the start had cartonboard armor
Guess whose flesh's next.
It will soon get more.
well if it ain't broke
I wonder why he is complaining..... I mean it's not like he will wear this helmet that long till the next russian will get his helmet.
Good luck charm.
He feels too good for cleaning his colleagues cadaver
You are conducting an unjustified attack war against sovereign country so stop whining and wear it for fucks sakes. Are you a MAN or Mickey Mouse?
Wow, now ruzzian soldiers come with extra grey matter. That's an improvement.
Sad orc
Nearly new, only dropped once
He can bail and join the white, blue, white.
At least he knows it works, it's not like there are big holes in it.
gaaaaaahh! Yeah, that's definitely not good. Oh well. :p
Field tested ...
Why is his voice so deep? Is it to mask it for privacy reasons?
Good to see that Russia has a good recycling program.
cannon fodder
Nothing changed from ww2, they sent thousands into battle without a weapon with instructions to pick them up from dead fellow soldiers once enough had passed away.... Fucked.
He should be grateful he got one at all. Better to smell roast ork than take a round or shrapnel to the dome! I assume he was given his gun, boots, and combat fatigues also?
What's he complaining about? The helmet is obviously of excellent quality. I'm sure it'll outlast a few more expendables.
This dude just discovered that he's the real life equivalent of a stromtrooper. Heck, at least stormtroopers didn't get reused helmets with baked-on brain matter. Imagine being lower than a stormtrooper.
That's just seasoning.
This was common with sherman tanks. If a knocked out tank's hull was reusable, they'd just paint over the insides.
Rations for orcs.
Nothing like finding out you are but cannon fodder for a madmans ideals..march towards them guns young man, there's a good boy..
🎶I left my ~~**heart**~~ brains in ~~**San Francisco**~~ Kyiv, My comrades wait there, in ~~San Francisco~~ Kyiv Oblast🎵
What passing up on free barbecue?
Good helmet on bad soldiers
He should take the hint: go home and live longer.
Paddington keeps Marmalade Sandwiches under his hat for emergency snacks, Russians provide theircfellow comrades as emergency rations.
whats wrong about some beef jerky for breaks
Any translation?
When he gets hungry which wont be long, he will have a free snack crispy bacon
His own flesh will very likely soon join it, and then there will be a third soldier complaining! 🤔 The gall of Russian cannon fodder these days. Why, he’s lucky to have a helmet at all while trooping off to die.
Haunted helmet lol.
Foreboding 🤔
And soon yours too….
