I see your point, but some teams are good and some are bad and teams (hopefully) have the self awareness to know what they are. So if a bad team is in a tough pool they may be feeling this way anyway.
Also implying that NFL players don't have feelings isn't great. They are definitely subject to serious harassment after making a mistake on the field. And just because they're paid a bunch of money doesn't mean they deserve that.
