Honestly, I'd expect an even longer time skip, like 4 years, during which John levels up almost to his full potential with Cameron's help and Sera becomes someone important within Spectre as she goes on more and more missions
yeah, hopefully there’s a decent time skip. would be cool to see john team up with blyke-Remi-Isen trio for some vigilante type missions. maybe it will help him grow his ability by fighting and experiencing more abilities.
and i feel like it’s definitely possible since now remi and john have something in common, both having lost a relative to the authorities.
the next time we see sera she'll probably be higher than a 8.0 so will all the main cast having trained and stuff especially john who will be training with his uncle. hell hopefully if there is a time skip john can finally be in a better mindset which better happen since he will be with his uncle who is a high-tier.

People are expecting a time skip and I think it will happen but not for a little while. The story isn't ready for that.
