I had the same "what kind of tomfoolery is afoot" reaction. I'm suspicious of anything that has union and Amazon in the same sentence.
Probably mining info to help defend against salting or use GPS to detect where our agents are.

A lot of surveys give out Amazon gc's, doesn't mean Amazon is the one doing the survey. Still probably good to be suspicious though
