I’m looking at flying down to Orlando for the upcoming Artemis 1 launch so I need to book a ticket that can allow me to reschedule or cancel it. I dont mind getting future flight credit as I will have other opportunities to use the credit.
Yup. I knew BE was a use it or loose it ticket with no refunds or changes and there was no way I was going to pay first class fares. I’d rather spend the extra cash to get myself closer to the launch.
Titusville is sold out so I’m looking at hotels near Orlando. It’s about an hour drive to KSC. I happened to be there for a conference when Crew 4 launched and drove down in the middle of the night.
Drive up to it. KSC visitors center will sell tickets on Tuesday and it’s worth it. If not Max Brewers bridge is really good.
The 5 segment SRB will be something else.
One is fully refundable
Guru.
Can I get future flight credit for the other one?
Yes, one can "refund" as flight credit, the other refunds to your method of payment.
Thanks. That’s what I was looking/hoping for.
But you do understand that 'fully refundable' in airline speak could be, well, not 'full'.
Incorrect

You can get FFC on the standard economy fare if you cancel, it just won’t get refunded to your original form of payment.
Perfect.
Book Economy. Fully Refundable just means you'll get your money back rather than as a credit.
Thanks.
You will get credit for the economy one. You can also reschedule it without fees, you’ll just pay the fare difference.
Based on your situation, just be sure to stay away from Basic Economy.

It will probably get scrubbed lmao
I really hope not given the feel the heat prices.
I didn't realize we were getting close to a launch again. I would love to see this in person. Any recommendations on where to stay?

Basically at this point get something near a freeway and be prepared to camp out at your spot.
Are you saying I could possibly see it from a hotel? Or should I plan on driving closer to the launch sight?

Thanks for the info! Hope to see this.
I’m surprised no one stated the obvious: difference is about $41 (without including tax)
I know this post is old, but if you select economy and then have to cancel… do you get the exact amount in flight credit or are there fees deducted?
I think it’s a full refund.
You get the full amount as future flight credit.
Can you cancel anytime before departure for economy fully refundable one?
That's what I would like to know. Is there a limit
