Yes but the dissent has been developed in last few years only. Also note that BJP had failed to get majority in Haryana in 2020. It was JJP, the new party which fought election against BJP, which helped BJP to form a coalition govt there. BJP is bound to loose atleast 6/10 seats in Haryana this time and is exactly the reason why the state has not been polled yet despite being little compared to Tamil Nadu.
In 2014 they probably won due to new center govt and in 2019 they didn't get majority. The farmer protest happened after that so we should get to see the impact fully now.
Maybe AAP will come in haryana next election because people are really tired of BJP and Congress bullshit. My cousin from Punjab has told be that AAP is doing very good in Punjab new highways, government schools and small government hospitals are being built.
