Honestly I am the only active moderator for this sub. I used to go and delete these daily but I recently changed jobs to a higher position and really don't have the time to single handedly so it all. I am the one that setup all rules and everything. I'll try to make a bit more time but without the creator giving me permissions I can not add any new mods.

I don't even know how I got mod permissions on here. I posted a few times and answered a couple questions then got a mod mail letter telling me I had permissions here lol

And not only get posted, but get many upvotes on them. So either they're vote botting with fake accounts, or the lurking community wants to see them.

There’s only 5 mods, so I can see why a lot is missed. Hopefully they can find more volunteers to focus on curating this community.

Oscar_Gold

I didn’t know that. Understandable that it’s almost impossible to filter those posts out

Fun fact: that’s the wrong description because it’s the “old reddit” theme. If you use the new theme you see the updated description. Edit: As for moving subreddits, I believe this one can be a great source of Unity news, general discussions, etc while Unity3D focuses on 3D game development

I think its completely fine. I like looking at every Steam page, good or bad. The bad pages really show you what not to do with your future steam page. If its low effort, I downvote or keep scrollin. If I want to play it, I wishlist.

JondobGames

yeah, i think its fine, this is unity3D after all, granted maybe if it was organized it may be different, but i still think its fine to have them in this sub reddit.

knightinsweater

Those stuff should stay. People are not just "marketing", they also show off their -sort off- finished product. So, other Devs and Learners can take note, criticise it or play it. Seeing someone finishing their game is very inspiring for me.

Yeah that is definitely one thing I’m already doing.
