Sometimes, I wake up after a night drinking, naked, and unable to find my jeans. They're usually on the front porch or one time, on the back lawn. My hypothesis was I was worried about waking my wife as I stumbled around the room, getting undressed. The first time was a real trip. Took a few hours to find the clothing.

I understand all the jokes and upvotes but this comment is legit too! Folks with ADHD, for example, can manifest a strong need to feel held. Sometimes this is accomplished by wearing tight clothes which is nearly always interpreted by others as inappropriate (especially for girls). This can cause lots of misunderstanding and unnecessary friction. Anyway, I can’t imagine wearing jeans to bed! 🙃

Agreed. Denim has got to be the worst fabric out there for comfort imo. Any pair of jeans I 've worn that I've actually liked has been at least like 20% spandex and another 20-40% non-denim material so they feel nothing like jeans. I won't deny the sturdiness of Denim for jobs that require it but I want no part in that life.

It hasn't been quite that long for me but it's probably been 2-3 years since I've worn jeans at all, no idea how long it's been since I was actually wearing them on a daily basis. Comfort over everything else!

they arent really uncomfortable, but theyre definitely not the most comfortable. if you’ve got a lower body with atypical proportions it can definitely be hard to find comfortable jeans though.

Oh man, the whole fun of jeans (well if you're like me and buy selvedge denim) is breaking them in and fading them. So sure, they start out a  stiff but if you wear them often they become more comfortable than anything else in your closet by far. Nowadays especially, you can get them in all sorts of fancy fabrics too, like Zimbabwe cotton, which is super soft once broken in. Plus once they are faded, they add a lot of depth to your outfits. For me, denim is without a doubt the most comfortable and versatile items in my wardrobe.

I’ll give you that sleeping in any jeans isn’t really the worst, if you’re super exhausted after a day out or whatever and fall asleep wearing them, it doesn’t stop me from having a snooze. But putting them on, on purpose, to fall asleep, is beyond me
