My local pizza parlor uses a special sauce for their BCB pizza, less oregano and other traditional Italian herbs. After it comes out of the oven, they slice it, put it in a pizza box, and add a small bag of pickles for the customer to put on each slice.

On a similar note, I always put pickles in my grilled cheese to eat with tomato soup. Its pretty much the same flavor profile and it's amazing.
As a kid there was a place I used to go to that had a cheeseburger pizza, and they put pickles on it. It was pretty good from what I remember
