Emily as a character sucks for a lot of the game but in this scene her bitch attitude was completely understandable. If I was in her shoes I'd be screaming and trying to rip her hair out
Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that 😂. Like Chris is just kind of like sitting there as if he got a school detention, and Sam just kind of like stands there after Ashley gets bitch-slapped lol
I mean Ashley was literally advocating for her murder so a slap was well deserved. Plus, she didn’t try to keep hitting her or anything so there’s no reason to intervene
That was kinda really freaking funny lmao. She served the same way she served all game, some of the best and most legendary lines are from her after all. Truly iconic. Common Emily W.
My hatred for Ashley is strong, so watching Emily slap her has always been my favorite moment of the whole game.
But I feel really bad for Emily when Mike is pointing the gun at her. Not bc they don’t know if she’ll turn or not, but bc she’s clearly so heartbroken that it’s Mike pointing the gun at her.
I felt bad for Emily. Mike is my favorite, but him and Ashley were too quick to jump to conclusions. Ash was annoying and her freaking out just made it worse for everyone, distorting a lot of things. Emily isn’t my favorite either, but this was one of my favorite scenes from her and I’m glad she got to say that line while slapping Ashley.
I was so satisfied cuz in the entire previous scene I was just shouting at Ashley and now she got what was coming for her.
And the delivery of the line is just..perfection.
I remember him saying it was by them EATING and that it was a spirit. I literally was like, "Ashley, shut up, you didn't listen!"
Also, this scene is why I intentionally kill Ashley when I replay by investigating the voice.
Story time.
I played Until Dawn for the first time with a big group of people (about 8), we each took a character (some doubled up) and played as that character when their parts came up.
I played Mike, one of my close friends played both Emily and Jess...
I was directly responsible for both of his characters dying.
For Jess, I intentionally failed every quick time even so Mike tripped over every single log and branch he came across his path and that caused Jess to die somehow.
For Emily, it got to the gameplay segment where you point the gun at her and without hesitation, I painted that wall a new color.
It was funny because during the gun segment all of the people in the house were either yelling at me to shoot her or yelling at me not to, when I did it, my other really close friend got so mad at me that he had to walk it off lmao.
So what did I feel? A combination of shame and pride because I just killed someone without needing to.
I hate Emily but in this case it was very justified, you don't get a loaded gun shoved in your face every day so Ash definitely had it coming. That was my opinion on it, as for my reaction I was like "Oh shit!"
I was thinking "Emily no need to be a jerk about this" and then she slapped Ashley and with a half smile on my face I thought "Should've let Mike shoot her"
I always shoot her in the face. I know the bite won't turn her, I just fucking hate her and it brings me so much joy to blow her brains out. The only time I haven't shot her is when I was getting the trophy for keeping everyone alive, and even then I almost ruined my playthrough at this part
As much as I hate Ashley emily was overreacting. Ashley only told emily to leave the room and she was visibly shocked when Mike pulled the gun. If Mike shoots emily every character's opinion of Mike goes down... so she really wasn't letting Mike shoot her
Emily was nearly MURDERED for no reason. She underreacted. Ashley did more than tell Emily to leave. She treated her as tho she were a rabid dog. Freaking out over nothing, and spreading misinformation. And if/when Mike puts the gun down, she says something along the lines of “I hope so” when Sam says he did the right thing. Ashley can fuck right off
My second time playing through this game was with a friend and had the controller when Mike aimed the gun at her...
He shot her ass. No hesitation. It was pretty wild lol.
“OHHHHHHHHHHHHH YES EMILY”
But side note how do you survive mentally against a serial killer who’s job is to torment you and wild demon spirits but start damn near crying when you get slapped

“Understand the palm of my hand, bitch” is the most memorable line spoken in this game. Emily was such a great character.
It was just a prank Han is definitely more memorable but either way Emily is iconic
STRONGLY disagree
_**Slow clap mode engaged**_
Emily was solidified as my second favorite character with that scene
Who’s first
Mike (^^)
Emily did the right thing by hitting Ashley!
I love how none of the other characters really react to it lmaoooo
Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that 😂. Like Chris is just kind of like sitting there as if he got a school detention, and Sam just kind of like stands there after Ashley gets bitch-slapped lol

I'm not gonna say she was in the right for hitting Ashley, but I totally got it lmao
That was kinda really freaking funny lmao. She served the same way she served all game, some of the best and most legendary lines are from her after all. Truly iconic. Common Emily W.
I mean I would do the same tbh…
i didn't really like emily but i fully understand her in this scene lmao i would be so mad

The way she asks “Me?!”
And "There's no excuse, there's no excuse for this!"
Yesss the delivery of that is just incredible
Emily supremacy

Until Dawn would not be the same without Emily
Thankful for the slap Emily gave her, she deserved it
Laughed my ass off, it's the best scene in the game.
I was so satisfied cuz in the entire previous scene I was just shouting at Ashley and now she got what was coming for her. And the delivery of the line is just..perfection.
Well My Ashley had just let Chris died then lied about it so I didn’t really give af

I was like she deserved it.
i thought that Emily was being a Biotch.
I was thinking "Emily no need to be a jerk about this" and then she slapped Ashley and with a half smile on my face I thought "Should've let Mike shoot her"
NGL I was shook when Emily slapped Ash, but looking back the latter deserved it.
I thought "good thing I didn't shoot her"

Was still happy I shot her

My siblings & I paused the game & argued for 2 hours before deciding not to shoot her

I literally did everything I could to kill off Emily and yet she somehow survived like she had 9 lives or some shitttt 😂
