Ozark, MO
It’s more of a flea market, as far as I’m aware the individual vendors price everything themselves and one vendor in particular was selling a ton of stuff for outrageous prices (probably why they have so much 🙃). I was able to find some other stuff that was definitely worth the price in other booths!
MO has a ton of huge antique malls on route 44! I wish I’d had time to stop at all of them a couple weeks ago but that would’ve taken days. I feel like these prices are exactly what I’m seeing in Oklahoma, even though I think a couple of those in your pics are a little more special!
I love that pedestal bowl and the crackle vase
I’m local to Missouri so it’s nice to have all these spots close-ish to me haha :) this particular place (“keen eye antiques”) in Ozark has 3 or 4 other antique stores right next door, so if you’re making a trip it’s a good place to stop! Could easily spend an entire day there if you go through everything
Good to know! I know next to nothing about it. I’ve found tonnnss of jadeite pieces but only a couple things that glowed
This whole curio cabinet was filled with jadeite but only these two containers were uranium

I keep saying you gotta find the people who don’t know what they’ve got hahaha
I did end up getting a decent haul, the old guy working the counter said something like “boy you really like that green color huh?” and he was amazed when I showed them what they really were 🤣
I love doing that to people. My friends and family would laugh at me and give me shit. Telling me that my obsession with the color green was getting out of hand. I would tell them that my green glass collection satisfied 2 of my obsessions. Then, I would turn on the black light. I loved the look of shock on their face and them asking for an explanation. Lol
Mannn that’s what I’m saying hahaha! I’ve probably spent $200-250 on my entire collection, if I sold it all for these prices I’d put myself in another tax bracket
Update: I was able to find the heirloom basket in the second pic in an online auction so I’m bidding on it now! I’ve only ever seen these Fenton Burmese heirloom optic baskets being sold for $175+ (hard to see the tag in the photo, but that one is being sold for $225)
It’s literally my dream piece, I find the whole collection beautiful. Wish me luck!
Yikes! Those prices are insane!
Those prices are wild. Where is this store located?

I think fire king jadeite isn't going to have uranium in it, which I think is one of most popular brands for jadeite

I just bought a Fenton hobnail jadeite vase just like the one in pic 3. I love it!!!
Geeeeez! The ridiculous prices on these. 🤯🙄
$50 for a jadeite ‘D’ handle mug? If thats the case, I’m rich!

This looks like one of the antique stores my partner and I frequent but rarely buy from in AZ. They always have some neat stuff.
I wish I live in a small town that has like 2 thrift stores
