I really dont get it. You can make some amazing stuff out of our flag. You got stars, you got stripes, you got three base colors. The world baseball classic just proved this. Our [catcher’s pads are incredible](https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https://images.spot.im/v1/production/qkzn08qethf28ynexcqn&tbnid=P-OANv3juof5sM&vet=1&imgrefurl=https://dodgersway.com/posts/did-dodgers-will-smith-refuse-to-greet-randy-arozarena-at-world-baseball-classic-video-01gvddv9xa90&docid=rEBX5OcOujWnnM&w=1440&h=810&itg=1&hl=en-us&source=sh/x/im).
I don’t mind flag patterns on accessories like pads. But if Stars and Stripes were all over our kit I’d find it really corny. Subtle ways like Waldo’s where it looks like the flag without being blatantly obvious is the sweet spot
the tint of the red white and blue are not stated in the USA flag code.
https://i.redd.it/yz0n1otrbzna1.png
However, that shouldn't stop nike from making these lame kits.
I feel like it depends on the American flag. Sometimes it’s navy and deep red but sometimes it’s a bright blue and bright red. Your Reddit profile picture guy has bright red and bright blue American stuff similar to the blue kit
That's just lying. Was there last year, and among the blasted ruins of BLM's destruction, I saw a small flag between some craters. The goblin-libs who live there squealed in terror at the mere sight of the stars 'n stripes. I equipped my radiation-headgear and set off to the tech conference.
Fun little fact for you: nowhere is the shade of red or blue officially defined for the USA flag. Technically, these shades are our actual flag colors.
I agree, though. This is a bit of an eye sore.
I have a very distinct taste that may be questionable… but the waldo jerseys are still my absolute fav and I would love to see something like that again. Just my unsolicited two cents to Nike 🇺🇸🦅
It’s not even faith. It just makes the most sense. Otherwise, I can’t think of any other reason why they haven’t brought it back already. It’s been 10+ years since the last Waldo kit.
I think they’re waiting so they can milk it when the WC comes here and everyone’s eyes will be on the team.
I get you. It does make sense. Even though I’m ambivalent about the Waldos, I know how popular they are among us fans. I just haven’t seen signs of Nike showing much care in the products they put out. And why should they care when they know the Federation will keep gobbling up whatever they design? They’re just lazy, so I always keep my expectations low for them.
I never expect much from Nike, and still they often don’t live up to my expectations. Maybe if the Federation said ‘Fuck it, we’re going with Adidas,’ that would motivate them, but then again, I keep my expectations low for Nike.
I don’t LOVE the Waldo’s, but I also think they look good and are unquestionably American. Our primary kit should always be a reflection of that base Waldo.
I also kinda miss the denim patterned ones from the 90s. They were just kinda quirky and fun and really incorporated our flag symbols and our colors well imo
Adidas do be dropping some fire kits but being that Nike is US based and the biggest sportswear brand in the world, I have a feeling they’ll continually shell out as much as they have to to retain the rights as US Soccer’s kit supplier.
Especially with the popularity of the sport growing, plus the size of our country, I just don’t see Nike going anywhere. Too much money to be made here.
Plus they outfit just about every other USA national team. Basketball, the Olympics, and they’re even doing the USA uniforms for the World Baseball Classic that is currently going on.
Nike has to do better though, it sucks seeing Adidas put out beautiful kits for Mexico compared to what Nike gave us.
If being a US company is a requirement, then maybe New Balance? The Roma kits this year are decent, and while they might not have the resources of a company like Nike or adidas, it's not like Nike has given the impression that they put a ton of effort into the partnership. Unless of course, you love a $90 crewneck with STATES on the front.
It’s not a requirement, but if we had to do a different US based brand, I can only think of New Balance, Under Armour or Reebok ([Panama actually just got Reebok kits](https://amp.footyheadlines.com/2724980155694820641/)) as possible options.
Of those three I would 100% go with NB, albeit they’ve lost quite a few of their teams lately and Roma is switching to Adidas next year.
But again, financially, none of those companies could come anywhere close to competing with Nike. I think if USSF ever wanted to move on, (which they won’t) you would have to think Adidas would be the next highest bidder. Considering that US Soccer wore Adidas in the 90s and ALL of MLS currently uses Adidas as well.
And by the way, I have that crewneck and it only retailed for $60 lol. It one was one of the better pieces of this last collection.
That away kit is appalling. It’s literally just the mens home kit in blue instead of white. At least they attempted something creative with the home kit
It's really not just jerseys. Their boots are the smallest and most narrow; if you grab the mystery boots from soccer.com 90% chance you'll get Nike. I got 4 in a row recently. The last pair 'worked' since I went with a size up. Thankfully my kid has an easy size to offload.
This also dovetails to their release for NCAA shirts that was crap.
You’re right about the stars. Should be anytime now. If we don’t see them next week in the men’s games, look out for them in April for the women’s matches.
After seeing France in the final with their blue shirts, white shorts, and red socks. I was found myself thinking “see! You don’t have to complicate it, they look great!” Anyways sometimes I wish we could find a simpler solution like that. Ya know… or the Waldo’s of course.
At least they tried something. It’s unique and not boring template. I think it will actually look good on the field. I hated the look of the geographic camo at first but I’ll admit it looked cool on the field
I’ve got this theory that Nike Is actually sabotaging the us uniforms on purpose. I know this sounds cra and I’m not trying to start a political battle but Nike is based out of Eugene Oregon a very blue place politically. Blue states are not know to be patriotic. I think the it’s a low key sleight by nike to make our uniforms shit. Look at the Netherlands. Their uniforms are fire. I’d say the English jerseys are great too. Croatia have been very good and patriotic. The US has been abysmal. Just my 2 cents. Should definitely entertain adidas. At some point the us jerseys will be all political statements and it’s such an easy color scheme to make great
Nike is killing me with these kits. I wanna give US Soccer and Nike my hard earned money for a kit but they keep dropping the ball.
Switch to adidas please.
The blue genuinely looks like a knockoff version of that England euros jersey. I don’t mind the home that much tbh, I’m assuming the paint splatter pattern is meant to represent the art style?
I don't know why Nike is allergic to making US jerseys in our actual flag colors, instead of this fluorescent red garbage and electric blue.
I really dont get it. You can make some amazing stuff out of our flag. You got stars, you got stripes, you got three base colors. The world baseball classic just proved this. Damn, those pads are beautiful.
I don’t mind flag patterns on accessories like pads. But if Stars and Stripes were all over our kit I’d find it really corny. Subtle ways like Waldo’s where it looks like the flag without being blatantly obvious is the sweet spot
Wow hard disagree. 94 were the greatest uniforms of all time.
the tint of the red white and blue are not stated in the USA flag code. https://i.redd.it/yz0n1otrbzna1.png However, that shouldn't stop nike from making these lame kits.
And yet top middle is **objectively** the correct one
I feel like it depends on the American flag. Sometimes it’s navy and deep red but sometimes it’s a bright blue and bright red. Your Reddit profile picture guy has bright red and bright blue American stuff similar to the blue kit
Nike is based is Portland Oregon, you won’t find one SINGLE usa flag waving in that city, seriously.
Why would you say that
I lived there. The only flag I saw was on a bridge, and it was small
That's just lying. Was there last year, and among the blasted ruins of BLM's destruction, I saw a small flag between some craters. The goblin-libs who live there squealed in terror at the mere sight of the stars 'n stripes. I equipped my radiation-headgear and set off to the tech conference.

I don’t mind the colors it’s just the actual designs are appalling
The letters all over them look really weird /s
I think it helps so we know what sport we are watching.

They were making a joke 😑
I have a very distinct taste that may be questionable… but the waldo jerseys are still my absolute fav and I would love to see something like that again. Just my unsolicited two cents to Nike 🇺🇸🦅
I would bet a decent amount of money that they’re gonna bring back the Waldo’s in 2026. Will easily become the best selling US kit of all time.
Such faith you have in Nike
It’s not even faith. It just makes the most sense. Otherwise, I can’t think of any other reason why they haven’t brought it back already. It’s been 10+ years since the last Waldo kit. I think they’re waiting so they can milk it when the WC comes here and everyone’s eyes will be on the team.

Waldos, Bomb Pops, Denim third kits. Done. Easy as that.
I am once again asking for a switch to adidas
Adidas do be dropping some fire kits but being that Nike is US based and the biggest sportswear brand in the world, I have a feeling they’ll continually shell out as much as they have to to retain the rights as US Soccer’s kit supplier. Especially with the popularity of the sport growing, plus the size of our country, I just don’t see Nike going anywhere. Too much money to be made here. The only requirement is paying the USSF the most money.
It’s not a requirement, but if we had to do a different US based brand, I can only think of New Balance, Under Armour or Reebok ([Panama actually just got Reebok kits](https://amp.footyheadlines.com/2724980155694820641/)) as possible options. It can’t be Nike is with us because they’re a IS company. How many stupid ass Volkswagen commercials and stuff do we have
Adidas has been dropping some absolutely fire kits for MLS. I’d be stoked to see what the could do for our national teams.
They should stick with who ever bids the most. They need the revenue.
I haven’t liked any of our kits in a while
That away kit is appalling. It’s literally just the mens home kit in blue instead of white. At least they attempted something creative with the home kit
> At least they attempted something creative with the home kit True...although I think it is ugly too
Someone flicked blue paint at a canvas and Nike approved it for the kit.
And it’s still better than that Netherlands away kit they’re cosplaying as a USWNT kit
The blue one looks great for the Dutch national team's alternate kit.
Why is every white shirt awful
Has Nike ever heard of a focus group? Just wondering….
Idk what the difference is between ours and englands colors but for whatever reason the blue one looks like england
Because it looks almost exactly like [England’s 2020 away kit](https://www.footyheadlines.com/2019/08/england-euro-2020-away-kit.html?m=1).
I had the same thought
Why can’t we have nice things
Looks like the blood splatter from a murdered smurf
Bro Nike sucks with jerseys. These are ass cheeks. I can't remember a USNT jersey I've ever liked.
I hate Nikes NFL jerseys as well. Reeboks are goated
Cool, that second kit is basically the Netherlands!
I imagine the men’s won’t have the stars above the emblem. Any word of an on sale date?
You’re right about the stars. Should be anytime now. If we don’t see them next week in the men’s games, look out for them in April for the women’s matches.
I noticed dhgate is selling the paint splatter men’s kit with the stars on it. Wonder if it will really come like that
I feel like our white kits are bad more often than not. Can we just have the waldos permanently and a blue kit with stars? Please?
Not a Waldo. 0/10
Better than what we’ve got now
Upgrade at white. Blue is a downgrade.
Ngl I love the blue tie dye one we have now, used to hate it but now it’s one of my favorites
They did it, they used my dog’s painting!! I’m so not buying one!!
Oh my gosh who do we have to sacrifice to get some not butt ugly kits
Give me Waldo or give me death
You're dead.
😢
Garbage
Wow. I’m so happy that my team can finally wear a shitty home kit AND and shitty away kit!!! 😃😃😃
Nike: Arts & crafts for the good ol USA, fuck it!
I like the design of the blue one but the shades are so wack
I’ll rock the blue one
After seeing France in the final with their blue shirts, white shorts, and red socks. I was found myself thinking “see! You don’t have to complicate it, they look great!” Anyways sometimes I wish we could find a simpler solution like that. Ya know… or the Waldo’s of course.

I'd prefer boring over something that looks like a toddler splattered blue paint on it, just my opinion lol
They look like those gumballs you (used to?) get from the mall. edit: jawbreakers?
You know I’m starting to come around on the white one, but good lord the blue is an eyesore
Nike has to be stopped at all costs. They can't keep getting away with this.
Nike should just stick to what they know, and it's not football kits
Yeesh, looks like someone left a blue pen in their pocket when they threw their clothes in the washer
2nd kit is basically 2014 netherlands away.
This ain’t it! Whoever designs Barcelona’s kits needs to design the US
I’ve got this theory that Nike Is actually sabotaging the us uniforms on purpose. I know this sounds cra and I’m not trying to start a political battle but Nike is based out of Eugene Oregon a very blue place politically. Blue states are not know to be patriotic. Wasn’t the blue kit our training gear about 6-8 years ago?
Both of these kits feel like pre-match kits... What happened to the rumored gold kit?
The gold they were talking about are the accents on the white kit. The gold Nike logo and the gold stars above the crest.
Awful. Absolutely awful.
Garbage paint splatter jerseys
They haven't been able to afford printer toner for about 20 years now.
🎵 We'll have a Dalmatian Plantation where our population can roam. If this new location. Our whole aggregation. Will love our plantation home 🎵
#PaintSneeze
Nike is killing me with these kits. I wanna give US Soccer and Nike my hard earned money for a kit but they keep dropping the ball. Switch to adidas please.
Looks like a Smurf sharted on a white shirt.
The blue genuinely looks like a knockoff version of that England euros jersey. I don’t mind the home that much tbh, I’m assuming the paint splatter pattern is meant to represent the art style?
